Abstract
To provide a coating apparatus which achieves downsizing of the entire part to allow moving of the apparatus and paint work to be performed only by one worker, can prevent scattering of spray dust by providing an air curtain or a suction skirt formed by a suction port of a suction duct in addition to a dust collector, and enables the worker to replace a clogged filter while continuing work without interruption.SOLUTION: A coating apparatus 30 is formed by a dolly 50 in which wheels 43 are provided at a lower part. A paint chamber 34 is formed at a side of a body frame 51 of the dolly 50 and a vertical arm 42 is provided at the body frame 51 to support a spray gun 33 for spraying a paint in the paint chamber 34. A periphery of the paint chamber 34 is enclosed by a transparent sheet or a resin plate 46 and a lower opening is enclosed by an air curtain device 32.
