AI Technical Summary
Technical Problem
Conventional hair transplantation methods require manual brushing by operators, leading to variations in quality due to skill differences, which affects the uniformity and efficiency of the process.
Method used
A brushing device with a support section, moving means, and a folding mechanism that automates the brushing process, ensuring consistent quality by moving hair bundles across multiple brushing units with precise control over the position and direction of hair ends.
Benefits of technology
The device reduces variations in brushing quality by minimizing the impact of operator skill, enabling efficient and uniform brushing of hair bundles, thereby improving the consistency and speed of the hair transplantation process.

Abstract
To provide a brushing device that can suppress individual differences due to differences in operators' technical skills as compared to a conventional device.SOLUTION: A brushing device is used for shifting the position of hair tips of a lock of hair by a brushing operation, and includes: a support part having a plurality of convex parts for inserting the plurality of convex parts in the gaps of hair constituting the lock of hair and supporting a hair tip side on one side of the lock of hair; moving means for moving the support part so that the convex parts pass over the hair tips on one side from a central side of the lock of hair in a longitudinal direction of the lock of hair; and a folding mechanism having a first plate-like part, a second plate-like part, and a connection part for connecting the second plate-like part so as to rotate relatively to the first plate-like part. The folding mechanism can move the lock of hair in a width direction by rotating the lock of hair provided straddling the first plate-like part and the second plate-like part in the width direction so that the second plate-like part rotates relatively to the first plate-like part around the connection part. In the brushing operation, the lock of hair is moved in a width direction by the folding mechanism, and the support part is moved by the moving means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
