Abstract

To provide a ball screw device in which a gap is unlikely to occur between a sleeve and a nut.SOLUTION: A ball screw device comprises a screw shaft, a nut passing through the screw shaft, a plurality of balls arranged between the screw shaft and the nut, a top attached to the nut, and a cylindrical sleeve fitted to an outer peripheral surface of the nut. A direction parallel to the screw shaft is defined as an axial direction. A direction perpendicular to the axial direction is defined as a radial direction. The nut is provided with a through hole that passes in the radial direction through the nut and houses the top, and a housing groove that is recessed radially inward from the outer peripheral surface of the nut and extends in the axial direction.
