Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a cooking device suitable for grilling. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, in this type of cooking appliance, a cooker is known that is provided with a burner unit that includes a gas burner with a plurality of upward-opening flame holes formed along the X-axis direction, with two orthogonal horizontal directions being the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction, and a hot plate with an upwardly convex cross section that is disposed above the gas burner (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In this cooker, the hot plate is heated to a red glow by combustion gases generated by combustion in the gas burner, and the food to be cooked located above the burner unit is heated by radiant heat radiated from the hot plate.

[0003] In the conventional example, the combustion gas overflows from under the hot plate and flows outward in the Y-axis direction. Therefore, the combustion gas overflowing from the hot plate is not effectively used to heat the food placed directly above the burner unit. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0004] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 10-179418 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] In view of the above, the present invention aims to provide a heating cooker that improves thermal efficiency by enabling the combustion gas that overflows from under the heating plate outward in the Y-axis direction to be effectively used to heat the food being cooked located directly above the burner unit. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a cooking device provided with a burner unit including a gas burner in which a plurality of flame holes opening upward are formed along the X-axis direction, with two orthogonal horizontal directions being the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction, and a hot plate arranged above the gas burner and having a cross-sectional shape that is convex upward, the cooking device being characterized in that diffusion prevention plates are erected on both outer sides of the burner unit in the Y-axis direction, the length of the diffusion prevention plates in the X-axis direction is set so that they extend beyond the X-axis range in which the flame holes of the gas burner are formed on one side and the other side in the X-axis direction, the lower end of the diffusion prevention plate is located below the flame holes of the gas burner, and the upper end of the diffusion prevention plate is located above the side edges on both sides of the Y-axis direction that are the lowest part of the hot plate.

[0007] According to the present invention, the combustion gas that overflows from under the hot plate outward in the Y-axis direction hits the diffusion prevention plate and flows upward, which allows the combustion gas to be effectively used to heat the food placed directly above the burner unit, improving thermal efficiency.

[0008] Forming multiple vent holes in the hot plate through which combustion gases generated by combustion in the gas burner pass is advantageous in reducing uneven heating of the hot plate. In this case, it is desirable to position the upper end of the diffusion prevention plate at a height equal to or higher than the upper edge of the uppermost vent hole of the hot plate. In this way, even if combustion gases flow outward in the Y-axis direction through the vent holes, the combustion gases will hit the diffusion prevention plate and flow upward, contributing to heating of the food positioned directly above the burner unit.

[0009] In the present invention, the diffusion prevention plate is preferably surface-treated to increase its emissivity. This allows the diffusion prevention plate to efficiently absorb and heat the heat of the combustion gas, and also radiates radiant heat from the diffusion prevention plate, contributing to heating of the food located directly above the burner unit. This further improves thermal efficiency. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

[Figure 3] FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional front view taken along line III-III in FIG. 2. [Figure 4] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a burner unit provided in the cooking device according to the embodiment. [Figure 5] 3 is an enlarged perspective view of the main part of the cooking device of the embodiment with the grill removed. FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0011] 1 to 3, in a cooking appliance according to an embodiment of the present invention, two orthogonal horizontal directions are defined as the X-axis and Y-axis directions. A plurality of burner units B (specifically, four burner units B) are arranged in parallel in the Y-axis direction at the top of an open-topped container 1. The burner units B each include a gas burner 2 elongated in the X-axis direction and a metal hot plate 3 with an upwardly convex cross section (specifically, an upwardly convex arc shape) located above the gas burner 2. The hot plate 3 has a plurality of vent holes 31 formed by cutting and raising, which open outward in the Y-axis direction and through which combustion gas generated by combustion in the gas burner 2 passes. The hot plate 3 is heated to a red-hot state by combustion in the gas burner 2, and the radiant heat emitted from the hot plate 3 heats food on a grill 4 located above the container 1. Forming a plurality of vent holes 31 in the hot plate 3 as described above reduces uneven heating of the hot plate 3.

[0012] Grill 4 is placed on a rectangular support frame 42 connected to the upper ends of vertically movable support posts 41 provided on both sides of the body 1 in the Y-axis direction. Support posts 41 are raised and lowered by the vertical swing of an operating lever 43 protruding in one direction of the body 1 in the X-axis direction. A lock lever 44 is attached to operating lever 43, which locks it in any swing position. Pulling lock lever 44 upward releases the lock, allowing the operating lever 43 to swing. A drip tray 5 is also located at the bottom of body 1 so that it can be freely moved in and out in one direction of the X-axis.

[0013] The gas burner 2 comprises a tubular burner body 21 elongated in the X-axis direction, and a plurality of upward-opening flame holes 22 formed along the X-axis direction at the top of the burner body 21. In this embodiment, two adjacent rows of flame holes, each consisting of a plurality of flame holes 22 along the X-axis direction, are provided in the Y-axis direction. Referring to FIG. 4, both ends of the burner body 21 in the X-axis direction are closed by plugs 23, 23. Each plug 23 has a protrusion 231 protruding outward in the X-axis direction. The protrusion 231 of each plug 23 is fastened to support brackets 12 for the burner unit B, which are fixed to frames 11 on both sides of the upper portion of the body 1 in the X-axis direction, thereby fixing and supporting the gas burner 2. Each support bracket 12 also supports each end of the hot plate 3 in the X-axis direction. The gas burner 2 is also provided with an ignition electrode 24 serving as ignition means located above one end in the X-axis direction and a thermocouple 25 serving as flame detection means located above the other end in the X-axis direction.

[0014] Each gas burner 2 is supplied with hydrogen gas as fuel gas via a gas supply path 61 extending from each valve unit 6 inside a box 13 attached to one surface of the body 1 in the X-axis direction, and this hydrogen gas is ejected from flame holes 22 of the gas burner 2 and diffuses and burns. On one outer surface of the box 13 in the X-axis direction, there are arranged an operation knob 62 for each valve unit 6 and a power switch 63 for starting a controller (not shown) for each valve unit 6. When the operation knob 62 is pressed and turned from its stopped position to perform the ignition operation, hydrogen gas is supplied to the gas burner 2 and a spark is generated at the ignition electrode 24, igniting the gas burner 2.

[0015] The combustion gas generated by combustion in the gas burner 2 overflows from under the hot plate 3 outward in the Y-axis direction and flows outward in the Y-axis direction through the vent holes 31. Therefore, if left as is, the combustion gas cannot be effectively used to heat the food placed directly above the burner unit B.

[0016] Therefore, in this embodiment, diffusion prevention plates 7 are erected on both outer sides in the Y-axis direction of each burner unit B. Note that a single diffusion prevention plate 7 shared by both burner units B is provided between burner units B adjacent in the Y-axis direction. Also, referring to Fig. 5, the diffusion prevention plate 7 is supported by inserting the lower portions of each end in the X-axis direction into slits 11a formed in each frame 11 on both sides in the X-axis direction at the top of the body 1, making it detachable.

[0017] The length of each diffusion prevention plate 7 in the X-axis direction is slightly longer than the length of the hot plate 3 in the X-axis direction. Referring to Fig. 2, the length of the hot plate 3 in the X-axis direction is set so as to extend beyond the X-axis range Xa in which the flame holes 22 of the gas burner 2 are formed on both sides in the X-axis direction. Therefore, the length of the diffusion prevention plate 7 in the X-axis direction is also set so as to extend beyond the X-axis range Xa in which the flame holes 22 of the gas burner 2 are formed on both sides in the X-axis direction. Also, referring to Fig. 3, the lower end of the diffusion prevention plate 7 is located below the flame holes 22 of the gas burner 2, and the upper end of the diffusion prevention plate 7 is located above the side edges on both sides in the Y-axis direction, which are the lowest parts of the hot plate 3.

[0018] According to this, the combustion gas that overflows from under the hot plate 3 outward in the Y-axis direction hits the diffusion prevention plate 7 and flows upward. Therefore, this combustion gas can be effectively used to heat the food placed directly above the burner unit B, improving thermal efficiency.

[0019] In this embodiment, the upper end of the diffusion prevention plate 7 is positioned at the same height as the upper edge of the uppermost vent hole 31 of the multiple vent holes 31 of the heating plate 3. As a result, the combustion gas flowing outward in the Y-axis direction through the vent hole 31 also hits the diffusion prevention plate 7 and flows upward, contributing to heating of the food positioned directly above the burner unit B.

[0020] The anti-diffusion plate 7 is further surface-treated to increase its emissivity, for example, by painting its surface black. According to Kirchhoff's law, emissivity = absorptivity. Therefore, if the emissivity of the surface of the anti-diffusion plate 7 is increased, the anti-diffusion plate 7 will efficiently absorb the heat of the combustion gas and heat up, and radiant heat will also be emitted from the anti-diffusion plate 7, contributing to heating the food located directly above the burner unit B. This further improves thermal efficiency.

[0021] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above with reference to the drawings, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, in the above embodiment, multiple burner units B are arranged in parallel in the Y-axis direction. However, the present invention can also be applied to a cooking device with a single burner unit B. In addition, in the above embodiment, the upper end of the diffusion prevention plate 7 is located at the same height as the upper edge of the uppermost vent hole 31 of the multiple vent holes 31 of the hot plate 3. However, the upper end of the diffusion prevention plate 7 may be located at a height higher than the upper edge of the uppermost vent hole 31. In addition, in the above embodiment, the vent holes 31 of the hot plate 3 are formed by cutting and raising (louvering) so as to open outward in the Y-axis direction. However, they may also be formed by cutting and raising so that the edges in the X-axis direction are open. Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the upwardly convex cross-sectional shape of the hot plate 3 is specifically arc-shaped, but it may also be mountain-shaped or trapezoidal.
