Abstract

The present invention provides an outdoor unit that can prevent debris such as fallen leaves from entering the socket and can discharge water from inside the casing even if the socket or hose freezes. [Solution] An outdoor unit that discharges water from inside the housing via a socket 13 attached to a through hole Q formed in the bottom 12 of the housing, wherein the socket 13 is positioned below the through hole Q and comprises a mortar-shaped receiving member 16 with an open bottom into which water from inside the housing flows in through the through hole Q, and a cylindrical hose attachment member 17 that communicates with the receiving member 16 and sends the water from inside the housing that has passed through the receiving member 16 to the outside of the socket 13, wherein in plan view the entire through hole Q fits within the opening at the upper end of the receiving member 16, and the receiving member 16 has grooves 20 and 21 formed therein that guide the water accumulated inside the receiving member 16 from inside the receiving member 16 to the upper end and discharge it to the outside of the receiving member 16.

Viewed from above, the entire through-hole Q fits within the opening at the upper end of the receiving member. The outdoor unit is characterized in that the receiving member has a groove formed therein that guides water accumulated inside the receiving member from inside the receiving member to the upper end and discharges it outside the receiving member.

2. The outdoor unit according to claim 1, characterized in that there are multiple grooves, and these multiple grooves are provided at intervals in the circumferential direction of the receiving member.

3. The outdoor unit according to claim 2, characterized in that each of the plurality of grooves is aligned in the radial direction of the receiving member when viewed from above.

4. The outdoor unit according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the socket further comprises a plate-shaped piece erected on the receiving member and at least a portion of which is disposed inside the housing through the through hole Q, and the plate-shaped piece has a through hole R formed along the inner circumference of the through hole Q, at least a portion of which is located inside the housing.
