Half-precast quay wall structure and its construction method

Abstract

This invention provides a structure and construction method that integrates a revetment section using sheet pile walls with a land slab where heavy cargo handling operations are performed, and which can be easily constructed using precast concrete panel materials. [Solution] A quay wall structure 1 consisting of a half-precast revetment section A and a land slab B installed on the landward side of revetment section A, wherein revetment section A comprises a sheet pile wall 11 consisting of a plurality of sheet piles 10 arranged continuously along the quay wall, a precast concrete panel material 15 covering the seaward side of the sheet pile wall 11, and a coping section 40 made of cast-in-place concrete that fills the gap between the panel material 15 and the sheet pile wall 11 and the upper part of the sheet pile wall 11 and the area around its top, connecting reinforcing bars 30 protruding landward from the panel material 15 extend into the coping section 40 and the interior of the land slab B, and the coping section 40 and the land slab B are integrally manufactured with the coping section 40 (cast-in-place concrete) with the connecting reinforcing bars 30 embedded inside.
