Treatment methods for SSTR-positive cancer

Abstract

A method for treating SSTR+ cancer using a radiopharmaceutical composition is provided herein. The radiopharmaceutical composition may comprise one or more stabilizers, an aqueous vehicle, and a conjugate comprising a radionuclide conjugated to a targeting ligand and a metal chelating agent. The targeting ligand may be a small molecule compound or a peptide such as a monocyclic peptide. The targeting ligand may be configured to bind to a tumor target. The stabilizers may comprise a radiolysis stabilizer, a free metal chelating agent, and / or a pH stabilizer. A method for preparing a radiopharmaceutical composition and a method for treating cancer by administering the described radiopharmaceutical composition are further provided herein.
