Versioned Transactions

Abstract

A computer implementation method for processing blockchain transactions, the method being executed by a transaction processor, comprising the steps of: obtaining a first script from a first blockchain transaction, the first script including a version opcode; obtaining a second script from a second blockchain transaction, the second blockchain transaction including a version value; and executing the first script together with the second script, the execution step including executing a version opcode, the step of executing the version opcode including outputting the version value of the second blockchain transaction.
