Abstract

We provide an internal freezing device for PET bottles. [Solution] The device comprises a lid that attaches to the mouth of a PET bottle and a shaft that extends vertically through the lid. The shaft is formed in a conical shape, and the portion that protrudes above the lid serves as a heat exchange section with the outside air, thereby promoting heat exchange between the inside and outside and enabling efficient cooling. Because cold and heat can be efficiently transferred to the inside of the PET bottle via the rod-shaped member (shaft), the liquid can be frozen quickly and uniformly from the inside. Furthermore, because the rod-shaped member is conical with a diameter that tapers towards the tip, even if the rod-shaped member and the frozen material become stuck together during freezing, the resistance to pulling it out is reduced, making it easy to remove the rod-shaped member. Conventionally, when freezing liquid in a PET bottle, there was a problem of low cooling efficiency and difficulty in achieving uniform freezing. In addition, there was a problem of insufficient heat exchange with the outside, resulting in a long cooling time.

Claims

[Claim 1] A cooling device comprising a lid portion that is attached to the mouth of a plastic bottle, and a shaft that extends vertically through the lid portion, wherein the shaft is formed in a conical shape with a diameter decreasing towards the tip, the lid portion has a through hole through which the shaft passes, and the portion that protrudes above the lid portion functions as a heat exchange part with the outside air.
