Abstract

To provide a solid cam mechanism having a dimensional shape with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A solid cam mechanism 1 comprises: a solid cam 2; a follower 3 contacting the solid cam 2; a shaft member 4 connected to the follower 3; and a support member 5 for supporting the shaft member 4. The solid cam mechanism 1 is so configured as to convert rotational movement of the solid cam 2 into oscillatory movement of the follower 3 around the shaft member 4. A processing process for processing a work-piece and forming the support member 5 includes: a process in which an end mill is caused to approach the work-piece from one side, and a reference surface 56 is formed on the work-piece; and a process in which the end mill is caused to approach the work-piece from one side, and a holding groove 53, in which the shaft member 4 is fitted, is formed in the work-piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
