Abstract
The objective of the present invention, which aims to solve the aforementioned conventional problems, is to provide a linear driver-on-board module capable of full dimming in a triac dimmer environment, which enables stable power control regardless of the connection status of the triac dimmer and changes in dimming conditions in a multi-input voltage environment, thereby minimizing deviations in dimming characteristics according to input voltage conditions. To achieve the above objective, a linear driver on board module capable of full dimming in a triac dimmer environment according to the present invention is a linear driver on board (DoB) module that receives an AC power input and drives a load, comprising: a rectifier that rectifies the AC power to generate driving power applied to the load; a first switching unit that selectively controls a power path applied to the load based on a voltage output from the rectifier; and a second switching unit whose operation is controlled according to a reference voltage generated based on the input voltage of the AC power regardless of whether the triac dimmer is connected or phase cutoff conditions, wherein the first switching unit and the second switching unit are connected in series, and the power path applied to the load is cut off when the second switching unit maintains a cut-off state regardless of the operating state of the first switching unit.
