Abstract

The invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used in peasant farms, on the territory of which small- and medium-contour saline mixed soda and soda-sulphate heavy loamy solonetzic soils have become widespread. The method includes an early spring soil salt survey of the area to determine the state of solonetzic and saline soils, the development of a land reclamation strategy, the introduction of a calculated dose of sulfuric acid in the form of a solution, their incorporation to the depth of the solonetzic horizon, and the cultivation of alfalfa. This method allows for the production of up to 200 centners of fresh alfalfa per hectare per year on barren (due to soda salinity and alkalinity, there is virtually no vegetation) saline mixed soda and soda-sulfate solonetzic soils after their reclamation with a 1% sulfuric acid solution. The method improves the socioeconomic and environmental conditions of farms and farms where these soils are widespread. Key words: soda and soda-sulphate saline soils, chemical melioration, sulfuric acid, alfalfa, productivity.
