AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing nozzle designs for liquid containers struggle to accurately direct the discharge of liquids, especially in windy conditions, leading to wastage and potential damage from mis-directed sprays.

Method used

A flexible, collapsible nozzle cover that fits over the discharge nozzle, allowing the user to better control the direction of liquid discharge while remaining attached to the container during storage and transportation.

Benefits of technology

The nozzle cover enhances the user's ability to direct liquid discharge accurately, reducing wastage and preventing damage from mis-directed sprays, while allowing for convenient storage and transportation without the need for removal.

Abstract

This invention relates to a nozzle cover, and in particular to a nozzle cover which can assist a user in ensuring the discharge from a nozzle is more accurately directed. The nozzle cover has a first end and a second end, the first end being configured for mounting to the container adjacent to the nozzle. The nozzle cover has an operating condition in which the second end is open and of larger dimension than the first end. The nozzle cover is flexible and can be collapsed. The overall volume of the container and fitted nozzle cover can thereby be reduced when the nozzle cover is in the collapsed condition.
