Joint positioning-based 2d-3d registration method and system

By calibrating the position of the dual-plane X-ray system and joint positioning equipment, and combining the six-degree-of-free position information of joint kinematic parameters, 2D-3D registration is carried out, which solves the problems of difficulty in optimization and low accuracy in traditional registration methods, and achieves a more efficient and accurate registration effect.

AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Due to the non-convexity of the objective function, the optimization operator is difficult to find the global optimal position, which is prone to local solutions, and relies on the initial pose, resulting in low registration accuracy and low efficiency.

Method used

By performing position calibration of the dual-plane X-ray system and joint positioning equipment, the coordinate conversion matrix is obtained, and combined with the six-degree-of-freedom posture information of joint kinematic parameters, 2D-3D coarse registration and precise registration are performed to improve the capture range of the optimization operator and the convergence of the registration.

Benefits of technology

The convergence, accuracy and efficiency of 2D-3D registration is improved, the number of iterations is reduced, and the ability to analyze joint motion functions is enhanced.

Abstract

A joint positioning-based 2D-3D registration method, comprising: S1: obtaining a coordinate transformation matrix of a biplane X-ray system (1) and a joint positioning device (2); S2: photographing an X-ray image of a lateral position by using the biplane X-ray system (1), and recording a first spatial position and a first direction of gravity of a joint center by using the joint positioning device (2); S3: establishing a coordinate system by using the joint center of a 3D bone joint model as a coordinate origin, determining a second direction of gravity, and converting the first spatial position and the first direction of gravity recorded by the joint positioning device (2) into a coordinate system of the biplane X-ray system (1) by means of a coordinate conversion relationship; S4: matching the coordinate origin and the second direction of gravity of the 3D bone joint model with the first spatial position and the first direction of gravity, to complete 2D-3D coarse registration; and S5: using a result of the coarse registration as an initial value of fine registration based on iterative optimization, to complete 2D-3D fine registration. The joint positioning-based 2D-3D registration method improves the convergence, accuracy and efficiency of the registration.
