Abstract

[Problem] To prevent oil from entering the inlet of a breather in cases where a unit is provided with said breather. [Solution] Provided is a unit having a housing with a motor accommodation chamber accommodating a motor and a gear accommodation chamber accommodating a gear, wherein the housing that constitutes the motor accommodation chamber has an open portion formed at a position on the opposite side from the gear accommodation chamber in an axial direction, said open portion opening toward the opposite side from the side where the gear accommodation chamber is located in the axial direction, and ventilation to a breather is provided via the open portion.
