Abstract
Description
Side Hipseat Baby Carrier
[0001] The present invention relates to a side hip seat baby carrier, and more specifically, to a side hip seat baby carrier in which the use positions of the hip support and back support can be freely changed.
[0002] Babies typically begin to walk independently between nine and 15 months of age. Babies who are not yet able to walk are carried by their caregivers. In Asian cultures, a band-type baby carrier, or baby sling, is used as an aid for long-distance travel.
[0003] These baby carriers should be designed with safety as a priority while also considering convenience, and are generally structured to hold the baby forward while supporting the back and hips with straps attached to the caregiver's shoulders and waist.
[0004] When using this type of baby carrier, the baby's weight is distributed across the user's shoulders, waist, and hips, which has the advantage of allowing the user to use both arms relatively freely. However, existing baby carriers that allow the baby to be held in front have the advantage of stably supporting the baby's back, but they have the problem of obstructing the front view or restricting the movement of the caregiver's front part. In addition, existing side baby carriers that allow the baby to be held on the user's side are composed of only a hip seat that supports only the baby's buttocks, which does not sufficiently support the baby's back, resulting in a feeling of stability. In addition, there were problems such as the caregiver having to support the baby with both hands at all times, which lacked freedom. In addition, since they do not widely wrap around the shoulders, the load is not distributed across a wide area of the shoulders, putting a lot of strain on the caregiver's shoulders.
[0005] Various embodiments of the present disclosure are intended to solve the above problems and provide a side hip seat baby carrier.
[0006] For example, the side hip seat baby carrier according to the present disclosure is intended to provide a side hip seat baby carrier that can comfortably hold a baby on one side of the wearer's body, thereby freeing the other arm to be used.
[0007] In addition, the present disclosure seeks to provide a side hip seat baby carrier that can securely and stably place a baby in various positions while holding the baby on one side.
[0008] In addition, the present disclosure seeks to provide a convenient side hip seat baby carrier that is compact and portable.
[0009] The problems to be solved by the present disclosure are not limited to the problems mentioned above, and other problems not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below.
[0010] A side hip seat baby carrier according to various embodiments of the present invention is disclosed to solve the above-described problems.
[0011] In one embodiment, a side hip seat baby carrier may be provided, including a shoulder portion worn to be draped over one shoulder of a wearer; a support portion worn to be positioned on a waist portion opposite one shoulder of the wearer; and a connection portion including a front connection member connecting ends of front portions of the support portion and the shoulder portion, and a back connection member connecting back portions of the support portion and the shoulder portion, wherein the support portion, the shoulder portion, and the connection portion have a circular band structure and are worn to diagonally surround the upper body of the wearer, the support portion includes a hip support and a back support of the same shape, the hip support and the back support are overlapped, and connecting portions of both ends are fixed together with straps of the front connection member and the back connection member, respectively, and the hip support and the back support are fixed at the both ends so that a user's posture can be changed depending on the degree of overlap.
[0012] According to one embodiment, a sling-type baby carrier may be provided in which the connecting portion of the hip support overlaps with the connecting strap of the back support and the strap connecting portion of the strap, and the connecting portion of the hip support and the strap connecting portion of the strap are fixed through a first stitch at an inner portion near the center of the hip support, and the connecting portion of the hip support, the strap connecting portion of the strap, and the connecting strap of the back support are fixed through a second stitch at an outer portion adjacent to the inner portion and near the two ends.
[0013] According to one embodiment, a sling-type baby carrier may be provided in which the support part further includes a connecting strap, and the connecting strap is fixed at both ends between the outer surface of the hip support and the inner surface of the backrest, at the boundary portions between the central portion and the two ends of the hip support and the boundary portions between the central portion and the two ends of the backrest.
[0014] According to one embodiment, a sling-type baby carrier may be provided in which the first stitch and the second stitch may be a box X stitch, and in the second stitch, the stitches at both ends of the connecting portion are further processed with a reinforced stitch.
[0015] According to one embodiment, a sling-type baby carrier may be provided, wherein the front connecting member further includes a buckle and a front strap, and the female and male portions of the buckle are connected to the front portion of the shoulder portion and the front strap, respectively, so as to be adjustable in length, and one of the female and male portions of the buckle is provided with an elastic string, and the end of the front strap is provided with a strap fixing band.
[0016] Other specific details of the present invention are included in the detailed description and drawings.
[0017] The side hip seat baby carrier according to various embodiments of the present disclosure is provided with a hip support and a back support separately, but with both ends fixed and overlapped, so that there is a gap between the hip support and the back support.
[0018] Because it can be used in different positions, the baby can be placed safely and stably in various positions while holding the baby on one side.
[0019] In addition, the side hip seat baby carrier according to various embodiments of the present disclosure can provide convenience by being portable in a compact size.

[0054]
[0055] FIG. 1 illustrates a front view of a sling-type baby carrier (1) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 2 illustrates a back view of a sling-type baby carrier (1) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 3 illustrates an unfolded state of a sling-type baby carrier (1) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 4 illustrates a state in which a wearer wears a sling-type baby carrier (1) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 5 illustrates various examples of using a hip support (11) and a back support (12) of a support portion (10) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure.
[0056] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a sling-type baby carrier (1) may include a support portion (10), a shoulder portion (20), and a connecting portion (30).
[0057] The support part (10) may include a hip support (11) capable of supporting the hips of a baby, and a backrest (12) capable of supporting the back of the baby. The hip support (11) may provide a resting surface on which the hips of the baby may rest. The backrest (12) may support the back of the baby, thereby providing more stable support for the baby resting on the hip support (11).
[0058] The hip support (11) and back support (12) may have a shape that defines a relatively wide and recessed space for a baby to settle into. For example, the hip support (11) and back support (12) may have a shape that is relatively wide in the center and narrows toward both ends.
[0059] The shoulder portion (20) may be a component worn on one shoulder of the wearer. The shoulder portion (20) may have the form of a relatively wide fabric or strap. For example, the shoulder portion (20) may be manufactured from a knitted fabric (or a woven fabric). The shoulder portion (20) may be manufactured from a stretch fabric that can be stretched in both directions. The stretch fabric is usually manufactured with synthetic fibers such as polyester, nylon, spandex, and Lycra, and may have high elasticity and resilience. The shoulder portion (20) may have a form that has a relatively wide width in the center and narrows toward both ends. The shoulder portion (20) may be used to completely cover one shoulder of the wearer, so that the shoulder portion (20) may function to reduce the pressure applied to the wearer's shoulder.
[0060] That is, the shoulder portion (20) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure can reduce shoulder fatigue of the wearer by distributing the baby's weight over a wide area using a fabric that widely and evenly wraps the shoulder. In addition, compared to a typical strap (or string), it can be folded compactly, thereby improving the portability of the sling-type baby carrier (1) itself.
[0061] For example, the central portion of the shoulder portion (20) may have a width of about 27 cm when fully extended. The two ends may have a length of about 5 cm.
[0062] The connecting member (30) can connect the support member (10) and the shoulder member (20). The connecting member (30) can include a front connecting member (31) that connects one end of each of the support member (10) and the shoulder member (20) to each other and has an adjustable length, and a rear connecting member (32) that connects the other end of each of the support member (10) and the shoulder member (20) to each other and has an adjustable length.
[0063] The front connecting member (31) may include a buckle (311) connected to one end of the shoulder portion (20), and a front strap (312) connected between the buckle (311) and one end of the support portion (10).
[0064] The back connecting member (32) may include an adjuster (321) connected to the other end of the shoulder portion (20), and a back strap (322) connected between the adjuster (321) and the other end of the support portion (10).
[0065] The buckle (311) may include, for example, a one-touch detachable buckle structure. The buckle (311) may include a female part and a male part. The female part may be connected to the shoulder part (20), and the male part may be connected to the front strap (312). Depending on the embodiment, the female part may be connected to the front strap (312), and the male part may be connected to the shoulder part (20). The female part and the male part of the buckle (311) may have a locking mechanism, such as a snap button, through which the male part may be inserted into the female part and fixed to each other. However, the specific configuration of the buckle (311) is not limited to the above-described one, and may vary.
[0066] For example, in one embodiment, an elastic string (314) may be provided on the arm or arm portion of the buckle (311). The elastic string (314) may be fixed to the arm or arm portion, but may be used to be hooked onto another arm or arm portion. For example, the elastic string (314) may be fixed to the arm portion of the buckle (311) connected to the front portion of the shoulder portion (20). This elastic string (314) may be configured to be hooked onto the arm portion of the buckle (311) connected to the front strap (312). The elastic string (314) may function so that even if the buckle (311) is detached, the buckle (311) is not completely detached but is connected by the elastic string (314). That is, even if the wearer detaches the buckle (311), the support part (10) of the sling-type baby carrier (1) can be supported by the elastomer string (314) without completely falling down. That is, the elastomer string (314) can primarily support the support part (10) to increase stability even if the support part (10) completely falls to the floor or the buckle (311) detaches while the baby is seated on the support part (10).
[0067] The front strap (312) can be configured to be adjusted in length between the support (10) and the buckle (311). The wearer can adjust the length between the front strap (312) and the buckle (311) by tensioning or loosening the front strap (312) in the opposite direction.
[0068] Likewise, the back strap (322) can be configured to be adjusted in length between the support (10) and the adjuster (321) using the adjuster (321). The wearer can adjust the length of the front strap (312) and the back strap (322) to adjust the connecting portion (30) to a length suitable for the body size and weight of the wearer and the baby.
[0069] In various embodiments, the buckle (311) may be replaced with another member such as Velcro, a quick release pin, a toggle clamp, or a swivel hook.
[0070] The front strap (312) and the back strap (322) may include webbing made of nylon. The front strap (312) and the back strap (322) according to the embodiment may include webbing made of polyester, cotton, canvas, leather, polypropylene, and Kevlar.
[0071] In one embodiment, the front strap (312) may further include a strap fixing band (313) at an end. The strap fixing band (313) may have a loop shape. Specifically, the strap fixing band (313) may have a loop shape that is attached to the side at the end of the front strap (312). It may have a function of accommodating and organizing the remaining length after adjusting the length of the front strap (312) within the loop.
[0072] Referring to Fig. 3, the buttocks support (11) and backrest (12) of the support member (10) may have substantially the same shape. The buttocks support (11) and backrest (12) may have the same shape and size and may be completely overlapped.
[0073] The buttocks support (11) and the backrest (12) are overlapped with each other, and the two ends can be connected to each other. The two ends of the support part (10) can mean the portions where the two ends of the buttocks support (11) and the backrest (12) overlap each other.
[0074] As described above, the support member (10) can be connected to the front connection member (31) and the rear connection member (32) included in the connection member (30) at both ends. In one embodiment, the hip support member (11) and the back support member (12) can both be connected to the front connection member (31) and the rear connection member (32) at both ends. The specific structure by which the hip support member (11) and the back support member (12) are connected to the connection member (30) will be described later.
[0075] In one embodiment, the hip support (11) and the back support (12) may have a longest width (w1) of the central portion (110) of about 18 cm and a width (w2) of the two ends (120) of about 5 cm. The width (w2) of the connecting portion of the central portion (110) and the two ends (120) may have about 6 cm.
[0076] The total length of the hip support (11) and the back support (12) may have a total length (l1) of about 59 cm, the length (l2) of each of the two ends (120) may have a length of about 9.5 cm, and the central portion (110) may have a length of about 40 cm.
[0077] The central portion (110) of the buttocks support (11) and the backrest (12) may have a finished edge. For example, the central portion (110) of the buttocks support (11) and the backrest (12) may be hemmed or bound, and in this case, the edge portion may have a width (w4) of about 1.5 cm.
[0078] In one embodiment, the lining of the central portion (110) of the hip support (11) may have an anti-slip pad (111) attached thereto. The anti-slip pad (111) can prevent a baby placed on the hip support (11) from slipping and falling when the wearer wears the sling-type baby carrier (1). The anti-slip pad (111) may include, for example, one of silicone rubber, rubber, polyurethane, PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), and melamine sponge.
[0079] In one embodiment, the lining of the central portion (110) of the backrest (12) may have a mesh pad (112) attached thereto. The mesh pad (112) can easily discharge sweat generated from the baby's back when the wearer wears the sling-type baby carrier (1). The mesh pad (112) may be made of, for example, one of polyester, nylon, polypropylene, and acrylic.
[0080] Additional features such as anti-slip pads (111) and mesh pads (112) can provide greater comfort and stability for both the wearer and the baby.
[0081] The support member (10), the shoulder member (20), and the connecting member (30) can be connected so that the sling-type baby carrier (1) forms a circular belt structure, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3. Referring to FIG. 4, the sling-type baby carrier (1) having such a structure can be used to diagonally surround the upper body of the wearer. The shoulder member (20) can be positioned to cover one shoulder of the wearer, and the support member (10) can be worn so as to be positioned on the opposite side of the wearer. The front connecting member (31) is positioned at the front of the wearer, and the sling-type baby carrier (1) can be put on or taken off through the buckle (311). The back connecting member (32) can be positioned at the back (or back) of the wearer.
[0082] The baby can be held by the wearer through the resting space provided by the support (10). The hip support (11) can support the baby's hip area, and the back support (12) can support the baby's back area. The back support (12) can support the baby so that it does not fall out of the hip support (11) even when the baby moves or the wearer leans over.
[0083] The support member (10) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure has a backrest (12) separate from the hip support member (11), so as to stably support the baby's back and body.
[0084] In various embodiments of the present disclosure, since the hip support (11) and back support (12) of the support part (10) have the same shape and are connected only at both ends (120), the hip support (11) and back support (12) can be used to have various positions depending on changes in the body shape according to the growth of the baby or the purpose of use.
[0085] For example, referring to (a) of Fig. 5, the buttocks support (11) and backrest (12) of the support part (10) can be used in a completely overlapped state to simply support only the buttocks of the baby. In addition, as shown in (b) and (c) of Fig. 5, the backrest (12) can be used in a raised position with respect to the buttocks support (11) to stably support the baby. As can be seen in (b) and (c) of Fig. 5, the backrest (12) can be used in various positions and postures with respect to the buttocks support (11), and thus can be used by adaptively changing the position according to the size and posture of the baby.
[0086] FIGS. 6 and 7 illustrate a connection structure of a hip support (11) and a backrest (12) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 6 illustrates a connection structure of both ends of a hip support and a strap to form a connection structure of a hip support and a backrest according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 7 illustrates a connection structure of a hip support and a backrest according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. (a) and (b) illustrated in FIG. 6 and (c) and (d) illustrated in FIG. 7 sequentially illustrate a process of connecting the hip support (11) and the backrest (12).
[0087] First, referring to (a) and (b) of FIG. 6, a strap (300) may be connected to the connecting portion (600) of both ends (120) of the hip support (11). For example, the strap (300) may be a member for connecting a buckle (311) to the shoulder portion (20) in the front connecting member (31) described above, or a front strap (312) connected to the support portion (10). In addition, the strap (300) may be a member for connecting an adjuster (321) to the shoulder portion (20) in the back connecting member (32), or a back strap (322) connected to the support portion (10). Hereinafter, a structure in which straps for connecting various straps or members connected to the hip support (11) and the back support (12) of the support portion (10) are connected will be described.
[0088] The connecting portion (600) of the buttocks support (11) and a portion of the strap (300) may overlap. The connecting portion (600) may have the same configuration as both ends (120) of the buttocks support (11).
[0089] The part of the strap (300) that overlaps with the connecting part (600) may be referred to as the strap connecting part (310). The connecting part (600) of the buttocks support (11) may be divided into an inner part (610) and an outer part (620) in the part where the strap connecting part (310) overlaps.
[0090] After the connecting portion (600) of the buttock support (11) and the connecting portion (310) of the strap (300) overlap, the connecting portion (600) and the strap connecting portion (310) can be fixed by the first stitching (611) in the inner portion (610).
[0091] Referring to (c) of Fig. 7, a backrest (12) can be overlapped on a hiprest (11) that is primarily secured by a strap (300) and a first stitch (611). The connection portion (600) of the backrest (12) can be completely overlapped on the connection portion (600) of the hiprest (11). The connection portion (600) of the overlapped hiprest (11) and backrest (12) can likewise be divided into an inner portion (610) and an outer portion (620) that are processed with the first stitch (611).
[0092] The overlapping hip support (11) and back support (12) can be fixed to each other by a second stitch (612) at the outer part (620) of the connecting portion (600). That is, the second stitch (612) not only fixes the hip support (11) and back support (12), but can also further fix the strap (300).
[0093] In the support part (10) completed through the above process, the connection part (600) of the hip support (11) can be fixed by overlapping the connection part (600) of the back support (12) and the strap connection part (310) of the strap (300), and ultimately, the connection structure of the hip support (11) and the back support (12) is formed and stably maintained.
[0094] In various embodiments of the present application, the connecting portion (600) of the buttocks support (11) and the strap connecting portion (310) of the strap (300) may be fixed through a first stitch (611) at an inner portion (610) close to the central portion (110) of the buttocks support (11). The connecting portion (600) of the buttocks support (11), the strap connecting portion (310) of the strap (300), and the connecting portion (600) of the backrest (12) may be fixed through a second stitch (612) at an outer portion (620) adjacent to the inner portion (610) and close to both ends (120).
[0095] Through the above-mentioned fixing structure, the hip support (11) and back support (12) are firmly fixed to the strap (300) of the connecting part (30), thereby enabling the hip support (11) and back support (12) to be used in various positions depending on the purpose of use and the baby's posture and body type.
[0096] In one embodiment, referring to (d) of FIG. 7, the stitches at both ends of the connecting portion (600) in the second stitch (612) may be further processed with reinforcing stitches (613) to prevent the second stitch (612) from coming loose. This is because, when the sling-type baby carrier (1) is used, the parts that receive the greatest force to separate the connecting portion (600) of the support portion (10) and the strap (300) of the connecting portion (30) are the ends of the second stitch (612). The reinforcing stitch (613) may be performed as an overlock stitch to cover the stitches of the second stitch (612) (or additionally, the first stitch (611)).
[0097] In the illustrated embodiment, the first stitch (611) and the second stitch (612) may be a Box-X Stitch that is stitched diagonally in an X shape on the inside in addition to a square stitch, and in various embodiments, a Double Stitch, a Chain Stitch, and a rivet or button, or an adhesive may be further processed or attached. In addition, in one embodiment, the connecting portion (600), the connecting strap (900), and the strap connecting portion (310) may be fixed by stitching an additional reinforcing fabric in an overlapped state on the overlapping portion.
[0098] Fig. 8 illustrates a connection structure of a hip support (11) and a back support (12) according to an additional embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0099] Referring to (a) of FIG. 8, a connecting strap (900) may be further attached to the buttocks support (11) and the backrest (12) according to one embodiment. The connecting strap (900) may connect the outer surface of the buttocks support (11) and the inner surface of the backrest (12). Both ends of the connecting strap (900) may be connected to the boundary portions of the central portion (110a, 110b) and the end portions (120a, 120b) of the buttocks support (11) and the backrest (12), respectively. As described above, the buttocks support (11) and the backrest (12) may be fixed by the second stitching (612) of the outer portion (620) at the end portions (120a, 120b), and the connecting strap (900) may assist in fixing the buttocks support (11) and the backrest (12). For example, the length of the connecting strap (900) may be about 4.6 cm and the width may be about 1.5 cm.
[0100] In one embodiment, the connecting strap (900) may be made of a material with high elasticity and resilience, or may have a material with high elasticity and resilience (e.g., a rubber band) built in. For example, the connecting strap (900) may be made of spandex, lycra, or elastane. Even if the buttocks (11) and the backrest (12) are used in a state where they are significantly out of the overlapping state in the user posture of the buttocks (11) and the backrest (12), when not in use, the buttocks (11) and the backrest (12) can be restored to a completely overlapping state by the restoring force of the connecting strap (900). Accordingly, it provides a convenient experience in organizing the buttocks (11) and the backrest (12), and excellent portability can be provided by making storage and movement easy.
[0101] Referring to (b) of FIG. 8, in one embodiment, the backrest (12) may further be provided with a label (910) and a label pocket (920). The label pocket (920) may be provided on the mesh pad (112) or the inner surface of the backrest (12) and may be fixed to the edge (121) of the mesh pad (112). One end of the label (910) may be fixed to the boundary between the central portion (110) and both ends (120) of the backrest (12). The label (910) may be configured to be inserted into the label pocket (920) or to be pulled out from the label pocket (920). The label pocket (920) may be provided at a certain distance (e.g., 1 / 2 inch) from the boundary between the central portion (110) and the two ends (120), so that the label (910) may be partially exposed at the boundary between the label pocket (920) and the two ends (120). The user may grasp the exposed label (910) to remove the label (910) from the label pocket (920) or insert the label (910) into the label pocket (920). The label (910) may provide instructions for properly managing and maintaining the sling-type baby carrier (1). For example, the label (910) may include information such as whether the sling-type baby carrier (1) can be washed, dried, ironed, machine-washed, dry-cleaned, and how to use it properly.
