Abstract

The invention relates to a linear actuator (1) comprising: - an actuating rod (2) arranged in an outer tube (3) and capable of being moved linearly in a longitudinal direction (I-I) between a retracted position and an extended position; - an actuating member (4) comprising a threaded rod (5) that is rotatable about the longitudinal direction (I-I) and a nut (6) engaging with the threaded rod (5) by screwing, the nut (6) being mechanically coupled to the actuating rod (2); - means (7) for indexing the rotation of the nut (6) in the outer tube (3), including a first longitudinal groove (8) provided in the outer tube (3) and comprising two opposing lateral bearing paths (8a, 8b), and a first indexing member (10) rigidly connected to the nut (6). The first indexing member (10) comprises rollers which are each permanently pressed bearing against the two lateral bearing paths of the first longitudinal groove (8).
