AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Once the public IP address of a terminal device is leaked or tampered with, malicious applications or attackers can request the user identity of the terminal device, resulting in the leakage of user privacy information and reduced communication security.

Method used

The terminal device generates a dynamic verification value and authorization code, and improves security through dynamic parameter updates; the network-side device performs dynamic verification of the verification value to ensure that only legitimate requests can obtain the terminal device's identification.

Benefits of technology

Even if the checksum is leaked, the attacker cannot pass the security check, which effectively prevents the leakage of user privacy information and improves communication security.

Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and provides a communication method and apparatus which improve communication security and prevent user privacy information from being leaked. The method comprises: generating a first checksum according to information of a terminal apparatus and a first parameter, wherein the information of the terminal apparatus comprises a first identifier of the terminal apparatus and / or a shared security key between the terminal apparatus and a network, and the first identifier is used for identifying the terminal apparatus within the network; after generating the first checksum, updating the first parameter; sending to a first apparatus the first checksum or a first authorization code associated with the first checksum, the first checksum and the first authorization code being used for requesting a second identifier of the terminal apparatus from the network, and the second identifier being used for identifying the terminal apparatus outside the network.
