Abstract

The present disclosure generally relates to a skin care composition, comprising: from about 0.01% to about 50% by weight of the composition, of water-soluble or water-dispersible UV-blocking active; from about 0.1% to about 50% by weight of the composition, of a wax having a melting point of from about 68oC to about 95oC and having an average particle size in the composition of from about 100nm to about 100microns; and from about 0.1% to about 20% by weight of the composition, of a particulate UV filter. Such skin care compositions provide improved UV protection, while providing good skin feel.
