Disclosed in the present invention are a lamp assembly and a method for making the lamp assembly. The lamp assembly (100) comprises: a housing (10) extending along a first direction (D1); a printed circuit board assembly (20) comprising a portion located inside the housing (10) and a circuit board extension portion (210) extending outwards from at least a first position (P1) of the housing (10); a wiring harness assembly (30) configured to be connected to the circuit board extension portion (210); and a first sealing member (40) configured to seal the housing (10) at the first position (P1) and extending outwards from the first position (P1) to cooperate with the circuit board extension portion (210), so that the first sealing member (40) surrounds at least a portion of the circuit board extension portion (210).
