Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatuses of supporting joint transmissions. An exemplary UE includes: at least one memory; and at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the UE to: receive, from a network, a channel state information (CSI) report configuration associated with a plurality of CSI-reference signal (RS) resources associated with a plurality of NEs, wherein the CSI report configuration indicates the plurality of CSI resources for channel measurements, a plurality of rank indicators, a plurality of selection matrices, and a plurality of precoding matrices; and transmit, to the network, a CSI report including CSI feedbacks of the plurality of CSI-RS resources, wherein a CSI feedback of a CSI-RS resource includes a rank indicator, a precoding matrix indicator and a selection matrix associated with a CSI-RS resource of the plurality of CSI-RS resources based on the CSI report configuration.
