Data transmissions according to transmission profiles

Abstract

Embodiments of the invention relate to data transmissions according to transmission profiles in communication networks. Hence, a first communication device (100) firstly transmits a first control message (510) to a second communication device (300). The first control message (510) indicates a capability of the first communication device (100) for performing a data transmission based on a transmission profile. Thereafter, the first communication device (100) performs a data transmission (550) to the second communication device (300) based on a transmission profile for the data transmission (550), the transmission profile comprising: a first allowed time period (T1 ) and a first allowed power level (Pl ) for transmission of a first channel (CHI), and a second allowed time period (T2) and a second allowed power level (P2) for transmission of at least one second channel (CH2). Furthermore, embodiments of the invention also relate to first and second communication devices, corresponding methods and a computer program.
