Abstract
There is disclosed a cell of refractive index changing material, comprising: a first plastic substrate; a second plastic substrate; a plurality of spacers extending between opposing surfaces of the first and second plastic substrate, and defining a space between the first and second plastic substrates; and a refractive index changing material disposed in the space to form the cell, the density of spacers being increased and the lateral dimension of spacers being reduced to maintain transmission and haze at acceptable levels whilst minimising tenting.
