The present invention relates to a photopolymer composition, a holographic recording medium, a method for producing the same, and an optical element including the same. The photopolymer composition contains an electron donor having a reaction energy of -25 kJ / mol to 0 kJ / mol with a photosensitive dye excited to a triplet state, and therefore not only has excellent optical recording properties such as diffraction efficiency, which is a basic physical property of a holographic recording medium, but also has excellent high-temperature aging stability before recording optical information, and can exhibit the intended optical recording properties even when stored at room temperature to high temperature for a long time, thereby providing a holographic recording medium capable of reproducing a clear image without problems such as halo.
