Abstract

Transport equipment as well as a locking device for it. A transport equipment consists of a chassis (1) with a rolling base (2) fitted with a loading floor (3) on which a load can be received. Locking devices, which laterally lock the load within the chassis, comprise at least one locking device (10) on a side of the chassis (1). The locking device comprises a locking device (12) which is adjustable between an upright first position and a downward-facing second position. In the first position, the locking device (12) provides a stop (14) against which the load strikes during lateral movement, but in the second position allows this movement out of the chassis. The locking device (10) comprises spring devices, comprising at least one first spring (21), which force the locking device (12) into the first position under spring tension.
