Multi-level soil moisture measurement probe

Abstract

A solution for measuring soil moisture status and climate parameters in real time, and for providing users (irrigators, supervisors, researchers, etc.) with a dashboard to support decision-making regarding crop irrigation. It combines three complementary technologies: soil conductivity measurement, an intelligent and connected embedded system, computing servers, and web and mobile applications. The solution is presented as a single unit, easy to install, simple to activate with the push of a button, and provides instant access to results via a web and mobile application. This solution offers users, even those without expertise in new technologies (ICT, IoT), a user-friendly way to monitor their crop soils, optimize irrigation timing, and save water.
