Abstract

Systems and techniques are provided for wireless communication by a network entity. For example, the network entity can obtain one or more configurations associated with data collection by a user equipment (UE) and can transmit, to a radio access network (RAN) node, subscription request messages indicative of a plurality of trigger events based on the one or more configurations. The plurality of trigger events includes a respective start event for each configured report type of a plurality of configured report types for the data collection by the UE. The network entity can receive, from the RAN node, a first event notification message indicative of an occurrence of the respective start event for a particular configured report type and can transmit, to the UE in response to the first event notification message, a first indication configured to cause the UE to initiate data collection for the particular configured report type.
