Abstract

The present invention discloses a device and method for displaying a linked financial product quick quote block and an application program thereof. The device comprises a communication module for establishing an internet connection; a data transmission module for establishing an internet connection with a quote server to download a first financial product quote information and a linked product table; a memory for storing an application program and the first financial product quote information; a screen for displaying a graphical user interface of the application program; one or more processors connected to the memory and the screen; a comprehensive detail information module for generating a comprehensive detail information view according to the first financial product quote information; a linked product checking module for driving the data transmission module to download a second financial product quote information according to the linked product table, generating a linked product quick quote block in the comprehensive detail information view, and displaying the second financial product quote information in the linked product quick quote block.

Description

Technical Field

[0001] This invention relates to a technology for linking financial product quotations, and more particularly to an apparatus and method for linking product fast quotation blocks and its application. Background Technology

[0002] Generally speaking, financial products refer to stocks, bonds, futures, warrants, options, funds, etc. Among them, there is a type of linked financial product that has a linked asset. The price fluctuations of such products are usually directly related to the linked asset. For example, warrants and ETFs. Taking the "Yuanta CSI 300 Umbrella Securities Investment Trust Fund's CSI 300 Daily Return 2x Securities Investment Trust Fund" (abbreviated as "Yuanta CSI 300 2x", stock code 00637L) issued by Yuanta Securities Investment Trust Co., Ltd. on the stock market as an example, it uses the CSI 300 Daily Return 2x Index as its linked asset. The CSI 300 Index is a constituent stock index compiled from 300 A-shares selected from the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets. These constituent stocks account for about 80% of the market capitalization of the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets, thus having a fairly good representativeness of the Chinese stock market.

[0003] Modern mobile devices (such as smartphones and tablets) typically offer a watchlist feature in their stock quote software (or stock market analysis software) to allow users to quickly view all stocks, market indices, or other financial instruments they are interested in. This watchlist uses a view to display the basic quotes (e.g., latest price, change, volume, total volume, highest price, lowest price, opening price, previous closing price, etc.) of all financial instruments in the watchlist. Generally, selecting a financial instrument in the watchlist view opens its detailed information (e.g., chart, five-level order book, detailed quotes, real-time breakdown, price-volume table, technical analysis). This means that the current technology only displays the detailed information of a specific financial instrument in its detailed information view. If the financial instrument has a related instrument, the current technology does not provide any quote information for the related instrument in the detailed information view. Users must switch back to the watchlist view from the detailed quote information view to view the quote information for the related instrument.

[0004] Taiwan Patent Publication No. I421735 discloses an "apparatus and method for combining detailed information in financial market analysis software". The apparatus includes: a data receiving module, multiple detailed information modules, a detailed information integration module, an input device, and an operation module. The detailed information modules generate multiple detailed information views based on financial product price information. The method includes the following steps: executing financial market analysis software, entering a price view, selecting a financial product, entering a detailed information combination view, and selecting a detailed information combination. The detailed information combination is composed of multiple detailed information views, and the detailed information view is generated based on financial product price information and receives operation instructions to move the detailed information combination view up and down or left and right by touch.

[0005] When a financial product has a related product, the existing technology does not publicly provide the price information of the related product in the detailed information view. This prevents users from directly querying the real-time price of the related product in the detailed information view without switching views. In other words, the existing technology cannot meet the needs of users. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the hardware and software collaboration resources of the existing technology to propose a technology for a fast price block for related products. This would allow the detailed information view in stock quotation software to see whether the financial product has a related product and decide whether to display the real-time price of the related product, thus making up for the shortcomings of the existing technology.
