Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present application relates to a sphygmomanometer, and more particularly to a sphygmomanometer having a nighttime (during sleep) blood pressure measurement mode. In addition, the present application relates to a blood pressure measurement method of measuring blood pressure by such a sphygmomanometer. In addition, the present application relates to a program for causing a computer to execute such a blood pressure measurement method. BACKGROUND

[0002] Generally, in order to reliably examine the blood pressure of a subject, it is preferable to perform blood pressure measurement at the same time period every day. In order to meet this requirement, a sphygmomanometer that performs blood pressure measurement when a preset time arrives is disclosed in Patent Literature 1. With the above-described sphygmomanometer, for example, blood pressure measurement can be automatically performed even at nighttime when the subject goes to bed.

[0004] PATENT LITERATURE

[0005] Patent Literature 1: Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2006-102260 SUMMARY

[0006] PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION

[0007] The result of nighttime blood pressure measurement is important information for examining the risk of cardiovascular disease of a subject. Therefore, it is preferable to obtain a stable blood pressure value as the result of nighttime blood pressure measurement. It is known that by performing nighttime blood pressure measurement at a predetermined time (e.g., 2 a.m.) or at a time after a certain time from the time of going to bed (e.g., 4 hours later), a stable blood pressure value can be calculated. On the other hand, in a case where the time of going to bed of a subject varies significantly, for example, in a case where the subject is a shift worker and switches between going to bed at 10 p.m. and going to bed at 10 a.m. every week, blood pressure measurement cannot be performed at a prescribed time. Therefore, it is preferable to perform nighttime blood pressure measurement at both a predetermined time and a predetermined time interval from the time of going to bed, so that various life habits of various subjects can be dealt with as much as possible.

[0008] On the other hand, when the time of going to bed of a subject varies variously, sometimes blood pressure measurement performed at a predetermined time coincides with blood pressure measurement performed at a predetermined time interval from the time of going to bed, and blood pressure measurement is continuously performed. In a case where the method of blood pressure measurement is an oscillometric method of measuring blood pressure by temporarily pressing a measurement site of a subject with a blood pressure measurement cuff, when blood pressure measurement is continuously performed, the physical burden on the subject is too large, and it can hinder sleep.

[0009] The present application has been made to solve the above problems, and has an object to provide a sphygmomanometer and a blood pressure measurement method which avoid a case where blood pressure measurement is continuously performed when blood pressure measurement performed at a predetermined time and blood pressure measurement performed at a predetermined time interval from the time of going to bed coincide or are close. In addition, the present application has an object to provide a program for causing a computer to execute such a blood pressure measurement method.

[0010] Technical solution to the problem

[0011] To achieve this object, the sphygmomanometer of the present disclosure has a nighttime blood pressure measurement mode in which blood pressure measurement is automatically started according to a predetermined schedule, characterized by

[0012] The schedule includes a first type of schedule in which blood pressure measurement is started at a predetermined time, and a second type of schedule in which blood pressure measurement is started at a predetermined time interval from a specified time, and

[0013] The sphygmomanometer has a control section which, in a case where a time period of a first blood pressure measurement based on the first type of schedule and a time period of a second blood pressure measurement based on the second type of schedule at least partially coincide or in a case where a time difference between the time period of the first blood pressure measurement and the time period of the second blood pressure measurement is below a predetermined value, sets one of the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement as invalid or changes one of a start time of the first blood pressure measurement and a start time of the second blood pressure measurement to set an idle time between the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement.

[0014] In the present specification, "the first type of schedule" and "the second type of schedule" included in "the schedule" respectively prescribe a start time of blood pressure measurement (typically, 1 to 2 minutes or so are required). The "time interval" of blood pressure measurement in "the second type of schedule" means an interval between a specified time and a start time of a certain blood pressure measurement or an interval between a start time of a certain blood pressure measurement and a start time of the next blood pressure measurement, and is synonymous with a period.

[0015] The "specified time" means a time specified by a user (typically, a subject) of the sphygmomanometer, and can also be, for example, a time at which the user inputs an instruction to shift to the nighttime blood pressure measurement mode to the sphygmomanometer.

[0016] The "time period" of blood pressure measurement means a time during which blood pressure measurement is actually performed (for example, in an oscillometric method in which blood pressure is measured by temporarily compressing a measurement site of a subject with a sphygmomanometer cuff, 1 to 2 minutes or so are typically required).

[0017] According to the blood pressure meter, in a case where the time period of the first blood pressure measurement and the time period of the second blood pressure measurement at least partially coincide or in a case where the time difference between the time period of the first blood pressure measurement and the time period of the second blood pressure measurement is below a predetermined value, the control section adjusts the predetermined start time of the first blood pressure measurement or the predetermined start time of the second blood pressure measurement. That is, the control section invalidates one of the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement or changes one of the start time of the first blood pressure measurement and the start time of the second blood pressure measurement and sets an idle time between the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement. Thereby, in the blood pressure measurement at night, the case where the blood pressure measurement implemented at a predetermined time and the blood pressure measurement implemented at a predetermined time interval from the time of going to bed coincide or approach is avoided. Therefore, the physical burden on the examinee is small and sleep is not disturbed.

[0018] In one embodiment of the blood pressure meter, characterized by comprising:

[0019] a mode operation section that inputs a mode instruction for switching the mode to the night blood pressure measurement mode,

[0020] the control section comprises:

[0021] a determination section that, in conjunction with the mode instruction being input, shifts to the night blood pressure measurement mode, determines whether the time period of the first blood pressure measurement predetermined based on the first type of schedule and the time period of the second blood pressure measurement predetermined based on the second type of schedule at least partially coincide or whether the time difference between the time period of the first blood pressure measurement and the time period of the second blood pressure measurement is below the predetermined value; and

[0022] an adjustment section that, in a case where the result of the determination is positive for the partial coincidence or for being below the predetermined value, in conjunction with the result of the determination being obtained, performs adjustment of invalidating one of the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement or changing one of the start time of the first blood pressure measurement and the start time of the second blood pressure measurement and setting the idle time between the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement.

[0023] "In conjunction with shifting to the night blood pressure measurement mode" typically refers to the time point of shifting to the night blood pressure measurement mode, but for example, can also be a time within 5 minutes from the time point, for example, within which it is expected that the examinee has not yet fallen asleep. Likewise, "in conjunction with the result of the determination being obtained" typically refers to the time point of obtaining the result of the determination, but for example, can also be a time within 5 minutes from the time point, for example, within which it is expected that the examinee has not yet fallen asleep.

[0024] According to the present sphygmomanometer, the sphygmomanometer is shifted to the nighttime blood pressure measurement mode in association with input of the mode instruction, the result of the determination is obtained, and the adjustment by the adjustment section is performed in association with obtaining of the affirmative result of the determination. Therefore, the adjustment by the adjustment section is performed in a period in which it is expected that the subject has not yet fallen asleep after the subject inputs the mode instruction through the mode operation section.

[0025] In one embodiment of the sphygmomanometer, characterized by comprising:

[0026] a display; and

[0027] a time operation section for inputting an offset amount for offsetting a start time of blood pressure measurement,

[0028] the adjustment section displays the start time of the first blood pressure measurement and / or the start time of the second blood pressure measurement on the display in a case where the result of the determination is an affirmative result,

[0029] the adjustment section shifts one of the start time of the first blood pressure measurement and the start time of the second blood pressure measurement using the offset amount input by the time operation section and sets the idle time between the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement.

[0030] The "offsetting the start time" of blood pressure measurement means shifting the start time in the advancing direction or the delaying direction.

[0031] According to the present sphygmomanometer, the adjustment section displays the start time of the first blood pressure measurement and / or the start time of the second blood pressure measurement on the display in a case where the result of the determination is an affirmative result. Therefore, the user (mainly the subject) can recognize that the result of the determination is an affirmative result and that the adjustment process is required by checking the display of the display. Here, if the user inputs an offset amount for offsetting the start time of blood pressure measurement by the time operation section, the adjustment section shifts one of the start time of the first blood pressure measurement and the start time of the second blood pressure measurement using the offset amount input by the time operation section and sets the idle time between the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement. For example, the start time of the second blood pressure measurement is shifted in the direction of delaying the offset amount input by the time operation section. Thereby, it is possible to set the idle time according to the user's desire between the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement.

[0032] In one embodiment of the sphygmomanometer,

[0033] the control section comprises:

[0034] a determination unit that, in the nighttime blood pressure measurement mode, determines, in conjunction with the first blood pressure measurement based on the first type of schedule or the second blood pressure measurement based on the second type of schedule being performed, whether a time period of a next first blood pressure measurement scheduled based on the first type of schedule and a time period of a next second blood pressure measurement scheduled based on the second type of schedule at least partially coincide or a time difference between the time period of the next first blood pressure measurement and the time period of the next second blood pressure measurement is below the predetermined value; and

[0035] an adjustment unit that, in a case where a result of the determination is the partial coincidence or an affirmative result below the value, performs, in conjunction with the result of the determination being obtained, adjustment of setting one of the next first blood pressure measurement and the next second blood pressure measurement as invalid or changing one of a start time of the next first blood pressure measurement and a start time of the next second blood pressure measurement and setting the idle time between the next first blood pressure measurement and the next second blood pressure measurement.

[0036] "In conjunction with the first blood pressure measurement based on the first type of schedule or the second blood pressure measurement based on the second type of schedule being performed" typically refers to a time point immediately after the first blood pressure measurement or the second blood pressure measurement is performed, but may, for example, also be a time period before the next blood pressure measurement is performed, such as within 5 minutes from the time point. Likewise, "in conjunction with the result of the determination being obtained" typically refers to a time point when the result of the determination is obtained, but may, for example, also be a time period before the next blood pressure measurement is performed, such as within 5 minutes from the time point.

[0037] According to the present blood pressure meter, the result of the determination is obtained in conjunction with the first blood pressure measurement or the second blood pressure measurement being performed, and the adjustment by the adjustment unit is performed in conjunction with the affirmative result of the determination being obtained. Thus, the adjustment by the adjustment unit is performed each time the first blood pressure measurement or the second blood pressure measurement is performed.

[0038] In one embodiment of the blood pressure meter, characterized by comprising:

[0039] a time storage unit that stores a measurement required time actually required for a past blood pressure measurement,

[0040] the control unit sets a width of the time period of the first blood pressure measurement and a width of the time period of the second blood pressure measurement based on at least a measurement required time required for a last blood pressure measurement.

[0041] Here, the "width of the time period" refers to a length of time that determines the time period.

[0042] According to the present blood pressure meter, the measurement required time actually required for past blood pressure measurement is stored in the time storage section. The control section sets the width of the time period of the first blood pressure measurement and the width of the time period of the second blood pressure measurement based on at least the measurement required time required for the last blood pressure measurement. Therefore, the accuracy of setting the width of the time period is improved, and a proper determination result is obtained.

[0043] In a blood pressure meter of one embodiment, characterized by

[0044] The control section sets the width of the time period of the first blood pressure measurement and the width of the time period of the second blood pressure measurement to a certain length, respectively.

[0045] Here, the "certain length" means, for example, a length such as 2 minutes, which is a length at which a usual blood pressure measurement is completed and which is not too long for the next blood pressure measurement.

[0046] According to the present blood pressure meter, the control section sets the width of the time period of the first blood pressure measurement and the width of the time period of the second blood pressure measurement to a certain length, respectively. Therefore, the width of the time period can be simply set. In addition, the width of the time period is a certain length, and thus a stable determination result is obtained.

[0047] In a blood pressure meter of one embodiment, characterized by

[0048] The control section sets the idle time to a certain length.

[0049] Here, the "certain length" means, preferably, a length set in consideration of the physical burden on the subject at the time of measurement (for example, in an oscillometric method in which blood pressure is measured by temporarily compressing the measurement site of the subject with a cuff for blood pressure measurement, about 1 minute is usually required).

[0050] According to the present blood pressure meter, the control section sets the idle time to a certain length. Therefore, the length of the idle time can be simply set. In addition, the case where blood pressure measurement is continuously performed is avoided, and the physical burden on the subject is reduced.

[0051] In a blood pressure meter of one embodiment, characterized by

[0052] The adjustment storage section stores a case where the control section sets one of the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement to be invalid or changes one of the start time of the first blood pressure measurement and the start time of the second blood pressure measurement and sets the idle time between the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement.

[0053] According to the present sphygmomanometer, in a case where the control section sets the idle time between the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement by storing one of the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement as invalid or changing one of the start time of the first blood pressure measurement and the start time of the second blood pressure measurement in the adjustment storage section. Therefore, the examinee can confirm in the blood pressure measurement at night after the fact (for example, after getting up), and avoid the case where the blood pressure measurement performed at the predetermined time and the blood pressure measurement performed at the predetermined time interval from the bedtime are continuously performed when they partially coincide or approach.

[0054] In other aspects, the blood pressure measurement method of the present disclosure is performed in a night blood pressure measurement mode in which blood pressure measurement is automatically started according to a predetermined schedule, characterized by,

[0055] The schedule includes a first type of schedule in which blood pressure measurement is started at a predetermined time and a second type of schedule in which blood pressure measurement is started at a predetermined time interval from a specified time,

[0056] In the blood pressure measurement method, in a case where a time period of a first blood pressure measurement scheduled based on the first type of schedule and a time period of a second blood pressure measurement scheduled based on the second type of schedule partially coincide or in a case where a time difference between the time period of the first blood pressure measurement and the time period of the second blood pressure measurement is below a predetermined value, one of the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement is set as invalid or one of the start time of the first blood pressure measurement and the start time of the second blood pressure measurement is changed and an idle time is set between the first blood pressure measurement and the second blood pressure measurement.

[0057] According to the blood pressure measurement method of the present disclosure, in the blood pressure measurement at night, the case where the blood pressure measurement performed at the predetermined time and the blood pressure measurement performed at the predetermined time interval from the bedtime are continuously performed when they coincide or approach is avoided.

[0058] In yet another aspect, the program of the present disclosure is a program for causing a computer to execute the blood pressure measurement method.

[0059] The blood pressure measurement method can be implemented by causing a computer to execute the program of the present disclosure.

[0060] Effects of the Invention

[0061] From the above, according to the sphygmomanometer and the blood pressure measurement method of the present application, it is possible to avoid the case where the blood pressure measurement performed at the predetermined time and the blood pressure measurement performed at the predetermined time interval from the bedtime coincide or approach. In addition, according to the program of the present application, it is possible to cause a computer to execute such a blood pressure measurement method. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0070] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a wrist sphygmomanometer of the present application will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0071] [Wrist Sphygmomanometer]

[0072] Figure 1 A schematic structure of a wrist sphygmomanometer (hereinafter, appropriately referred to as "sphygmomanometer") 100 of an embodiment of the present application is shown. As described later, the present sphygmomanometer 100 has a usual blood pressure measurement mode in which blood pressure measurement is started immediately after a blood pressure measurement switch is turned on and a blood pressure measurement at night mode in which blood pressure measurement is started at a predetermined time or at a predetermined time interval from a specified time.

[0073] [Structure of a wrist blood pressure monitor]

[0074] like Figure 1 As shown, the blood pressure monitor 100 includes: a blood pressure measuring cuff 10 wrapped around the measurement site of the subject, and a blood pressure monitor body 20 integrally mounted with the cuff 10.

[0075] like Figure 2 As shown, the blood pressure monitor 100 of this embodiment is a wrist blood pressure monitor. Therefore, the cuff 10 has an elongated band shape for wrapping around, for example, the left wrist 210 of the subject 200. The cuff 10 contains an air bag 12 for compressing the left wrist 210 (see reference). Figure 3 It should be noted that, in order to always keep the cuff 10 in a loop shape, a moderately flexible loop (not shown) can be provided inside the cuff 10.

[0076] The blood pressure monitor body 20 is integrally mounted on the approximately central portion of the longitudinal direction of the strip-shaped cuff 10. In this embodiment, the predetermined mounting position of the blood pressure monitor body 20 corresponds to the palm side (palm side surface) 210a of the left wrist 210.

[0077] The blood pressure monitor body 20 is a flat, approximately cuboid shape along the outer periphery of the cuff 10, and is small and thin to avoid disturbing the sleep of the subject 200. Additionally, the upper surface of the blood pressure monitor body 20 ( Figure 1 The corners of the surface to be represented and the side surfaces surrounding it are beveled.

[0078] like Figure 1 As shown, the upper surface of the outer surface of the blood pressure monitor body 20, on the side furthest from the left wrist 210, is provided with a display 30 that constitutes a display screen and an operation section 40 for inputting instructions from the subject 200.

[0079] In this embodiment, the display 30 includes an LCD (liquid crystal display) that displays specified information, such as maximum blood pressure (mmHg), minimum blood pressure (mmHg), pulse (beats / minute), and, as described later, the determination of the cuff 10's winding, based on control signals from the CPU (central processing unit) 110. It should be noted that the display 30 can be either an organic EL display or an LED (light-emitting diode).

[0080] The operation section 40 has a plurality of buttons or switches operated by the subject 200. In the embodiment, the operation section 40 includes a blood pressure measurement switch 42A for the subject 200 to input a blood pressure measurement instruction of a usual blood pressure measurement mode, and a nighttime measurement switch (mode operation section) 42B for the subject 200 to input a blood pressure measurement instruction of a nighttime blood pressure measurement mode. The blood pressure measurement switch 42A functions as a switch for stopping blood pressure measurement in progress when the switch is pressed during blood pressure measurement.

[0081] In the following description, "usual blood pressure measurement" refers to blood pressure measurement started immediately after the blood pressure measurement start switch 42A is turned on. In addition, in the following description, "nighttime blood pressure measurement" refers to blood pressure measurement automatically performed according to a predetermined schedule after a blood pressure measurement instruction is input through the nighttime measurement switch 42B, and performed during, for example, the subject's 200 sleep. Blood pressure measurement performed according to a predetermined schedule is blood pressure measurement performed at a certain time, for example, at 1 AM, 2 AM, 3 AM, etc., or blood pressure measurement performed at intervals of, for example, 2 hours from the time the nighttime measurement switch 42B is pressed.

[0082] In the embodiment, both the blood pressure measurement switch 42A and the nighttime measurement switch 42B are momentary (self-recovery) switches, and are in an on state only during the time they are pressed, and return to an off state when released.

[0083] Figure 3 The frame structure of the sphygmomanometer 100 is shown.

[0084] The air bag 12 included in the cuff 10 described above is fluidically connectable to various fluid control devices (described below) included in the sphygmomanometer main body 20 through the air line 50.

[0085] In addition to the display 30 and the operation section 40 described above, the sphygmomanometer main body 20 has a CPU 110 as a control section, a memory 112 as an adjustment storage section, a power supply section 114, a pressure sensor 62, a pump 72, and a valve 82. In addition, the sphygmomanometer main body 20 has an A / D conversion circuit 64 that converts the output of the pressure sensor 62 from an analog signal to a digital signal, a pump drive circuit 74 that drives the pump 72, and a valve drive circuit 84 that drives the valve 82. The pressure sensor 62, the pump 72, and the valve 82 are fluidically connectable to the air bag 12 through the air line 50.

[0086] The memory 112 stores programs for controlling the sphygmomanometer 100, data for controlling the sphygmomanometer 100, setting data for setting various functions of the sphygmomanometer 100, and data of measurement results of blood pressure values, and the like. The memory 112 also functions as a work memory for temporarily holding various information in program execution. In particular, the memory 112 in the embodiment is configured as a program storage section that stores a general blood pressure measurement program and a nighttime blood pressure measurement program for calculating blood pressure using the oscillometric method, which will be described later, a measurement time setting program for setting a predetermined time (hereinafter, referred to as an absolute measurement time) and a time set at a predetermined time interval from a specified time (hereinafter, referred to as a relative measurement time), a measurement time comparison program for comparing the absolute measurement time and the relative measurement time, and a measurement time update program for updating the absolute measurement time or the relative measurement time.

[0087] The CPU (control section) 110 is configured to control the overall operation of the sphygmomanometer 100. Specifically, the CPU 110 is configured as a pressure control section for driving the pump 72 or the valve 82 in accordance with the programs for controlling the sphygmomanometer 100 stored in the memory 112, a measurement time setting section for implementing the measurement time setting program described later, a measurement time comparison section (determination section) for implementing the measurement time comparison program described later, a measurement time update section (adjustment section) for implementing the measurement time update program described later, and a nighttime measurement implementing section for implementing the nighttime blood pressure measurement program at the absolute measurement time and the relative measurement time. The CPU 110 also displays the blood pressure values obtained by implementing the general blood pressure measurement program or the nighttime blood pressure measurement program, and the absolute measurement time and the relative measurement time of the nighttime blood pressure measurement that are updated, on the display 30, and stores the blood pressure values and the absolute measurement time and the relative measurement time that are updated in the memory 112.

[0088] In the embodiment, the power supply section 114 is configured by a secondary battery, and is configured to supply power to each of the CPU 110, the pressure sensor 62, the pump 72, the valve 82, the display 30, the memory 112, the A / D conversion circuit 64, the pump drive circuit 74, and the valve drive circuit 84. The power supply section 114 is also configured to switch the on / off state, and in the off state, if the blood pressure measurement switch 42A is continuously pressed for, for example, 3 seconds or more, the on state is reached.

[0089] To increase the pressure (hereinafter, appropriately referred to as "cuff pressure") of the air bag 12 built in the cuff 10, the pump 72 is configured to supply air as a fluid to the air bag 12 through the air line 50. To control the cuff pressure, the valve 82 is configured to open to discharge the air of the air bag 12 through the air line 50 or close to maintain the cuff pressure. The pump drive circuit 74 is configured to drive the pump 72 based on a control signal imparted from the CPU 110. The valve drive circuit 84 is configured to open and close the valve 82 based on a control signal imparted from the CPU 110.

[0090] The pressure sensor 62 and the A / D conversion circuit 64 are configured to detect the cuff pressure. The pressure sensor 62 in the embodiment is a piezoresistive pressure sensor, which detects the cuff pressure of the air bag 12 as a resistance generated by a piezoresistive effect and outputs. The A / D conversion circuit 64 converts the output (resistance) of the pressure sensor 62 from an analog signal to a digital signal and outputs to the CPU 110. In the embodiment, the CPU 110 acquires the cuff pressure from the resistance output from the pressure sensor 62.

[0091] [Blood pressure measurement program]

[0092] The blood pressure measurement program calculates the blood pressure of the subject 200 with the sphygmomanometer main body 20 installed on the left wrist 210. The blood pressure measurement program includes a general blood pressure measurement program and a nocturnal blood pressure measurement program. The general blood pressure measurement program assumes a case where the subject 200 sits on a chair or the like, and the left wrist 210 with the sphygmomanometer main body 20 installed is held at the same height as the heart of the subject 200. The nocturnal blood pressure measurement program assumes a case where the subject 200 lies on a bed or the like, and the left wrist 210 with the sphygmomanometer main body 20 installed is placed at a position lower than the heart of the subject 200. It is known that different blood pressure values are calculated depending on the relationship between the height of the sphygmomanometer main body 20 and the height of the heart of the subject 200. Therefore, the general blood pressure measurement program and the nocturnal blood pressure measurement program each adjust parameters for blood pressure calculation in advance in consideration of the relationship between the height of the sphygmomanometer main body 20 and the height of the heart of the subject 200 assumed respectively.

[0093] The CPU 110, when implementing the general blood pressure measurement program or the nocturnal blood pressure measurement program, obtains a pulse wave signal from a fluctuation component of a pulse wave included in the cuff pressure obtained with the pressure sensor 62, and calculates a blood pressure value (maximum blood pressure and minimum blood pressure) based on the respective programs stored in the sphygmomanometer memory 112.

[0094] [Nocturnal blood pressure measurement mode]

[0095] The blood pressure measurement at night is explained. In the embodiment, as an initial value of the absolute measurement time point at which the blood pressure measurement program at night is implemented, 2 o'clock, 3 o'clock, and 4 o'clock are stored in advance in the memory 112. The measurement time point setting program sets the absolute measurement time points Tl, T2, T3 in the blood pressure measurement at night by referring to the above-mentioned time points stored in the memory 112. Figure 5 (a) shows a time table of the absolute measurement time points Tl, T2, T3, and when each of the absolute measurement time points Tl, T2, T3 is reached, the blood pressure measurement program at night is implemented for 2 minutes.

[0096] When the subject 200 who is not in bed presses the night measurement switch 42B of the sphygmomanometer main body 20 once in the state where the cuff 10 of the sphygmomanometer 100 is wound around the left wrist 210 of the subject 200, the blood pressure measurement instruction (mode instruction) at night is output to the CPU 110. Thereby, the CPU 110 drives the pump 72 and the valve 82 to increase the cuff pressure of the cuff 10, and the left wrist 210 is temporarily compressed by the cuff 10. In addition, the time point at which this blood pressure measurement instruction at night is output to the CPU 110 becomes the designated time point TlO. The measurement time point setting program sets the time points set at 2-minute intervals from the designated time point TlO as the relative measurement time points Tl l, T12. Figure 5 (b) shows a time table of the relative measurement time points Tl l, T12 when the designated time point TlO is 1: 1 o'clock, and when each of the relative measurement time points Tl l, T12 (in this case, the relative measurement time point Tl l is 3: 1 o'clock, and the relative measurement time point T12 is 5: 1 o'clock) is reached, the blood pressure measurement program at night is implemented for 2 minutes.

[0097] The CPU 110 of the sphygmomanometer 100 compares the set absolute measurement time points Tl, T2, T3 with the relative measurement time points Tl l, T12 based on the measurement time point comparison program. In the embodiment, when the CPU 110 determines that any one of the blood pressure measurements (the first type of time table) implemented at the absolute measurement time points Tl, T2, T3 coincides with any one of the blood pressure measurements (the second type of time table) implemented at the relative measurement time points Tl l, T12, the absolute measurement time points Tl, T2, T3 or the relative measurement time points Tl l, T12 are shifted based on the measurement time point update program.

[0098] Thereafter, the blood pressure measurement program at night is implemented according to the time table of the absolute measurement time points Tl, T2, T3 and the time table of the relative measurement time points Tl l, T12. However, when the night measurement switch 42B is pressed again within the time before the blood pressure measurement of the subject 200 in bed at night is implemented in the sphygmomanometer 100 (for example, within the standby time before the time at which the prescribed blood pressure measurement program at night is implemented), the instruction to stop the blood pressure measurement at night is output, and the blood pressure measurement program at night is not executed.

[0099] In the embodiment, the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 are set to 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 in the morning, but are not limited to this, and for example, can be set to 0:00, 1:00, or other times in the morning. Further, the relative measurement times T11, T12 are set to times at 2-hour intervals from the specified time T10, but are not limited to this, and for example, can be set to a time one hour after the specified time T10 and a time three hours after the specified time T10.

[0100] Figure 4 An operation flow when the subject 200 performs the blood pressure measurement at night using the sphygmomanometer 100 is shown. During this night blood pressure measurement, the subject 200 who has the sphygmomanometer 100 attached to the left wrist 210 maintains a state of lying on a bed or the like. Further, if the power supply section 114 is in the on state, the above-described absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 have already been set.

[0101] In this state, as shown in step S1, when the subject 200 presses the night measurement switch 42B provided in the sphygmomanometer main body 20 to input a blood pressure measurement instruction at night, the CPU 110 sets the above-described relative measurement times T11, T12 based on the specified time T10 using the measurement time setting program. Figure 4

[0102] Next, the CPU 110 determines whether the blood pressure measurement performed at the set absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 coincides with the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement times T11, T12 based on the measurement time comparison program (step S2). Specifically, the measurement time comparison program sets the width of the measurement time period of the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 (the time period of the first blood pressure measurement) and the width of the measurement time period of the relative measurement times T11, T12 (the time period of the second blood pressure measurement) to a certain length of time required for measurement T20 (2 minutes in the embodiment). Thus, the width of the measurement time period of the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 and the width of the measurement time period of the relative measurement times T11, T12 are simply set. When the measurement time period of the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 at least partially coincides with the measurement time period of the relative measurement times T11, T12, it is determined that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 coincides with the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement times T11, T12 (positive result). On the other hand, when the measurement time period of the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 does not at all coincide with the measurement time period of the relative measurement times T11, T12, it is determined that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 does not coincide with the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement times T11, T12.

[0103] As shown in step S3, when the subject 200 presses the night measurement switch 42B provided in the sphygmomanometer main body 20 to input a blood pressure measurement instruction at night, the CPU 110 sets the above-described relative measurement times T11, T12 based on the specified time T10 using the measurement time setting program. Figure 5 (a),Figure 5 (b) shown, absolute measurement time points T1, T2, T3 are set to 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, and relative measurement time points T11, T12 are set to 3:01, 5:01, respectively. At this time, the absolute measurement time period of the absolute measurement time point T2 (3:00) partially overlaps with the relative measurement time period of the relative measurement time point T11 (3:01) (the relative measurement time point T11 is within the absolute measurement time period of the absolute measurement time point T2). Therefore, it is determined that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement time point T2 coincides with the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement time point T11. On the other hand, the other absolute measurement time periods do not overlap with the relative measurement time period at all (the relative measurement time point T12 is not within the absolute measurement time period of the other absolute measurement time point), and therefore it is determined that the blood pressure measurement performed at the other absolute measurement time point and the relative measurement time point do not coincide. Thus, the width of the measurement time period of the absolute measurement time points T1, T2, T3 and the width of the measurement time period of the relative measurement time points T11, T12 for determination are a certain length, and therefore a stable determination result is obtained.

[0104] In step S2, when it is determined that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement time points T1, T2, T3 coincides with the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement time points T11, T12, the CPU 110 adjusts the absolute measurement time points T1, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time points T11, T12 based on a measurement time point updating program (step S3). Specifically, the measurement time point updating program shifts the relative measurement time points T11, T12 in a manner to set an idle time T22 of a certain length, for example, 1 minute, between the absolute measurement time period of the absolute measurement time points T1, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time period of the relative measurement time points T11, T12. Thus, the length of the idle time T22 can be simply set.

[0105] As Figure 5 (a), Figure 5(b) As shown, the absolute measurement time period of the absolute measurement time T2 and the relative measurement time period of the relative measurement time Tll partially overlap, and thus it is determined that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement time T2 coincides with the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement time Tll. At this time, the CPU 110 updates the measurement times based on the measurement time updating program, in such a manner that an idle time T22 is provided between the absolute measurement time period of the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time period of the relative measurement times Tll, T12, that is, the time from the scheduled end time of the measurement at the absolute measurement time T2 (3:02 AM) to the scheduled start time of the measurement at the relative measurement time Tll (3:01 AM) is expanded to the idle time T22 (1 minute), and thus the relative measurement time Tll is postponed, that is, the relative measurement time Tll is updated from 3:01 AM to 3:03 AM (see FIG. 6). Thus, the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement time T2 and the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement time Tll become in a state of "non-coincidence". As a result, the examinee 200 is able to perform the adjustment by the CPU 110 in the time period when it is expected that the examinee 200 has not fallen asleep after inputting the blood pressure measurement instruction for the night through the night measurement switch 42B. In addition, the case where the blood pressure measurement is continuously performed is avoided, and the physical burden on the examinee 200 is reduced. Figure 5 (c)).

[0106] At this time, the CPU 110 stores the case where the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement times Tll, T12 are adjusted, together with the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the adjusted relative measurement times Tll, T12, in the memory 112. As a result, the examinee 200 is able to confirm, after the fact (for example, after getting up), that in the blood pressure measurement for the night, the case where the blood pressure measurement performed at the predetermined time (the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3) coincides with or approaches the blood pressure measurement performed at the predetermined time interval from the time of going to bed (the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement times Tll, T12) is avoided.

[0107] After that, the CPU 110 outputs the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the adjusted relative measurement times Tll, T12 to the display 30, and shows the case where the relative measurement times Tll, T12 are updated (step S4). As a result, the examinee 200 is able to recognize, by viewing the display of the display 30, that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 was determined to "coincide" with the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement times Tll, T12 (the result of the determination is positive), and the case where the adjustment processing of adjusting the relative measurement times Tll, T12 was performed.

[0108] After that, the CPU 110 determines whether it is the absolute measurement time points Tl, T2, T3 or the relative measurement time points Tl l, T12 (step S5), and if it is not any of the measurement time points (when branching to "No" in step S5), it waits until the measurement time point is reached.

[0109] When the above measurement time point is reached (when branching to "Yes" in step S5), the CPU 110 initializes the pressure sensor 62 (step S6). Specifically, the CPU 110 initializes the processing memory area, and adjusts the pressure sensor 62 to 0 mmHg (atmospheric pressure is set to 0 mmHg) in a state where the pump 72 is stopped and the valve 82 is opened.

[0110] Next, the CPU 110 closes the valve 82 via the valve drive circuit 84 (step S7), and then drives the pump 72 via the pump drive circuit 74 to start pressurization of the cuff 10 (air bag 12) (step S8). At this time, the CPU 110 supplies air from the pump 72 to the air bag 12 through the air line 50, and controls the pressurization speed of the cuff pressure, i.e., the pressure in the air bag 12, based on the output of the pressure sensor 62.

[0111] Next, in step S9, the CPU 110 calculates the blood pressure values (systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure) using the above-mentioned nocturnal blood pressure measurement program stored in the memory 112 based on the pulse wave signal acquired at this time point.

[0112] At this time point, the sphygmomanometer CPU 110 repeats the processes of steps S8, S9 as long as the cuff pressure does not reach the upper limit pressure (for safety, for example, 300 mmHg is set in advance) in a case where the blood pressure values cannot be calculated due to insufficient data (in a case where branching to "No" in step S10).

[0113] When the blood pressure values are calculated (in a case where branching to "Yes" in step S10), the CPU 110 controls to stop the pump 72 (step SIl), and opens the valve 82 (step S12) to exhaust the air in the cuff 10 (air bag 12).

[0114] After that, the CPU 110 controls to display the calculated blood pressure values on the display 30 (step S13), and saves the blood pressure values in the memory 112.

[0115] When the blood pressure measurement prescribed by the above-described schedule is completed once, the CPU 110 judges whether all of the blood pressure measurements prescribed by the above-described schedule have been completed (step S14). In the case where the blood pressure measurement prescribed by the above-described schedule is scheduled yet (when branching to "not completed" in step S14), the CPU 110 returns to step S5, judges whether the next measurement time within the absolute measurement time periods Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time period TIl, T12 is the measurement time, and waits until the measurement time is reached if it is not the measurement time (when branching to "No" in step S5).

[0116] When the next measurement time within the absolute measurement time periods Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time period TIl, T12 is reached (when branching to "Yes" in step S5), the CPU 110 repeats the processes of steps S6 to S13, and judges again in step S14 whether all of the blood pressure measurements of the absolute measurement time periods Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time period TIl, T12 have been completed.

[0117] When all of the blood pressure measurements of the absolute measurement time periods Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time period TIl, T12 are completed (when branching to "end" in step S14), the CPU 110 ends the blood pressure measurement at night.

[0118] Note that the above-described measurement time updating program shifts the relative measurement time periods TIl, T12 by setting the idle time T22 of a certain length (1 minute in the above example) between the absolute measurement time periods Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time periods TIl, T12, but is not limited thereto. For example, the above-described idle time can be set according to the user's desire. Specifically, when the measurement time periods of the absolute measurement time periods Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time periods TIl, T12 at least partially overlap (step S2 of the above example), the idle time T22 can be set to a time period in which the measurement is not performed in the overlapping time period. Figure 4 Figure 6 The CPU 110 displays the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3, which are the start times of the first blood pressure measurement, and the relative measurement times Tl l, T12, which are the start times of the second blood pressure measurement, on the display 30, as shown in step S31. Next, the CPU 110 determines whether the subject 200 has input an offset amount that shifts the start time of the blood pressure measurement by operation of the nighttime measurement switch (time operation section) 42B for adjusting the relative measurement times Tl l, T12 (step S32). If the subject 200 has not input the offset amount (when branching to "No" in step S32), the CPU 110 waits until the subject 200 inputs the offset amount. On the other hand, when the subject 200 operates the nighttime measurement switch 42B to input the offset amount (when branching to "Yes" in step S32), the CPU 110 shifts one of the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement times Tl l, T12 using the input offset amount to set an idle time (set to T22') between the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement times Tl l, T12. For example, in the coincidence example of (a) and (b), the relative measurement time Tl l is shifted in the direction of postponing the input offset amount (for example, 3 minutes) to set an idle time T22' between the absolute measurement time T2 and the relative measurement time Tl l. Thereby, it is possible to set an idle time T22' between the absolute measurement time periods of the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time periods of the relative measurement times Tl l, T12 according to the wishes of the subject 200. Figure 5 (a) and (b) are shifted in the direction of postponing the input offset amount (for example, 3 minutes) to set an idle time T22' between the absolute measurement time T2 and the relative measurement time Tl l. Thereby, it is possible to set an idle time T22' between the absolute measurement time periods of the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time periods of the relative measurement times Tl l, T12 according to the wishes of the subject 200. Figure 5 (b) are shifted in the direction of postponing the input offset amount (for example, 3 minutes) to set an idle time T22' between the absolute measurement time T2 and the relative measurement time Tl l. Thereby, it is possible to set an idle time T22' between the absolute measurement time periods of the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time periods of the relative measurement times Tl l, T12 according to the wishes of the subject 200.

[0119] In addition, the above-described measurement time updating program shifts the relative measurement times Tl l, T12 to set an idle time T22 between the absolute measurement time periods of the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time periods of the relative measurement times Tl l, T12, thereby adjusting the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement times Tl l, T12 not to coincide. On the other hand, as shown in (a) to (c), the measurement time updating program can adjust in a manner that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement time T2 and the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement time Tl l do not coincide by invalidating the blood pressure measurement at the relative measurement time Tl l when the absolute measurement time period of the absolute measurement time T2 and the relative measurement time period of the relative measurement time Tl l partially coincide within the initially set absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and relative measurement times Tl l, T12. Figure 7 (a) to (c), the measurement time updating program can adjust in a manner that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement time T2 and the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement time Tl l do not coincide by invalidating the blood pressure measurement at the relative measurement time Tl l when the absolute measurement time period of the absolute measurement time T2 and the relative measurement time period of the relative measurement time Tl l partially coincide within the initially set absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and relative measurement times Tl l, T12. Figure 7 (c), the measurement time updating program can adjust in a manner that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement time T2 and the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement time Tl l do not coincide by invalidating the blood pressure measurement at the relative measurement time Tl l when the absolute measurement time period of the absolute measurement time T2 and the relative measurement time period of the relative measurement time Tl l partially coincide within the initially set absolute measurement times Tl, T2, T3 and relative measurement times Tl l, T12.

[0120] The measurement time comparison program described above determines that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 coincides with the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement times T11, T12 when the measured time period of the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 at least partially overlaps with the measured time period of the relative measurement times T11, T12. On the other hand, in the case where the time difference between the measured time period of the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 and the measured time period of the relative measurement times T11, T12 is below a predetermined value (for example, 1 minute), it can also be determined that the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 coincides with the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement times T11, T12. Thus, the CPU 110 can reliably set the predetermined allowance time, i.e., 1 minute, between the absolute measurement time period of the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time period of the relative measurement times T11, T12.

[0121] In the blood pressure measurement at night described above, the case where the blood pressure measurement performed at the predetermined times (the blood pressure measurement performed at the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3) coincides with or approaches the blood pressure measurement performed at the predetermined time intervals from the time of going to bed (the blood pressure measurement performed at the relative measurement times T11, T12) is avoided. Thus, the physical burden on the examinee 200 is small, and the sleep is not disturbed.

[0122] The sphygmomanometer 100 is of the type that compresses the wrist (in the embodiment, the left wrist 210, but it can also be the right wrist) as the measurement site, and thus is expected to be less likely to disturb the sleep of the examinee 200 as compared with the type that compresses the upper arm. Thus, the sphygmomanometer 100 described above is suitable for the blood pressure measurement at night.

[0123] In addition, the sphygmomanometer 100 is integrally and compactly constituted as a wrist-type sphygmomanometer, and thus is easy for the examinee 200 to operate.

[0124] [Other Embodiments]

[0125] In the embodiment described above, the measurement time comparison program (step S2) and the measurement time update program (step S3) are performed before the absolute measurement times T1, T2, T3 and the relative measurement times T11, T12 are reached, but it can also be performed as follows. Figure 8is implemented after the blood pressure measurement at the absolute measurement time T1, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time T11, T12 ends. In this case, the CPU 110 preferably calculates the time required for the measurement (step S120) after the calculated blood pressure value is displayed (step S113). The CPU 110 can also store the calculated time as the time required for the measurement T20 in the memory (time storage section) 112. Note that the time required for the measurement T20 stored in the memory 112 is not limited to the time required for the blood pressure measurement at the absolute measurement time T1, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time T11, T12, and can be, for example, the time required for the measurement in the usual blood pressure measurement mode before the sphygmomanometer 100 is set to the nighttime blood pressure measurement mode. After that, if the blood pressure measurement at all of the absolute measurement time T1, T2, T3 and the relative measurement time T11, T12 is not completed (when branching to "not completed" in step S121), the CPU 110 implements the measurement time comparison program (step S122). Thus, the CPU 110 makes the determination based on the actual time required for the measurement, and therefore improves the accuracy of the width of the set time period, resulting in an appropriate determination result. When it is determined that the blood pressure measurement implemented at the next absolute measurement time T1, T2, T3 and the blood pressure measurement implemented at the next relative measurement time T11, T12 "overlap", the CPU 110 adjusts the next absolute measurement time T1, T2, T3 and the next relative measurement time T11, T12 based on the measurement time update program (step S123). After the adjustment of the next absolute measurement time T1, T2, T3 and the next relative measurement time T11, T12 is completed or when it is determined that the blood pressure measurement implemented at the next absolute measurement time T1, T2, T3 and the blood pressure measurement implemented at the next relative measurement time T11, T12 "do not overlap", the CPU 110 returns to step S105 of determining whether it is the absolute measurement time T1, T2, T3 or the relative measurement time T11, T12. Thus, the adjustment by the CPU 110 is made every time the blood pressure measurement at the absolute measurement time T1, T2, T3 or the blood pressure measurement at the relative measurement time T11, T12 is implemented. The other steps are the same as those of the first embodiment. Figure 4 The flow of actions shown is likewise implemented.

[0126] In the above-described embodiments, the measurement time update program can be configured to adjust the relative measurement time T11, T12, but can also adjust the absolute measurement time T1, T2, T3.

[0127] In the above-described embodiments, the sphygmomanometer CPU 110 calculates the blood pressure during the pressurization of the cuff 10 (air bag 12), but can also calculate the blood pressure during the depressurization of the cuff.

[0128] In the above-described embodiment, the sphygmomanometer 100 is provided with the blood pressure measurement switch 42A that inputs an instruction of usual blood pressure measurement and the nighttime measurement switch 42B that inputs an instruction of nighttime blood pressure measurement, but it is also possible to receive the instruction via wireless communication from a smartphone or the like existing outside the sphygmomanometer by a signal receiving section of the sphygmomanometer, and replace the signal output from the usual blood pressure measurement switch or the nighttime measurement switch to the sphygmomanometer CPU with the signal received by the signal receiving section.

[0129] In the above-described embodiment, the sphygmomanometer 100 is configured such that the blood pressure measurement switch 42A outputs a signal of an instruction of usual blood pressure measurement to the sphygmomanometer CPU 110, and the nighttime measurement switch 42B outputs a signal of an instruction of nighttime blood pressure measurement to the CPU 110, but it is also possible to be configured such that, for example, a signal of an instruction of usual blood pressure measurement (mode instruction) is output to the CPU by pressing the blood pressure measurement switch once, and a signal of an instruction of nighttime blood pressure measurement (mode instruction) is output to the CPU by pressing the blood pressure measurement switch twice within a certain time.

[0130] In the above-described embodiment, the sphygmomanometer main body 20 is integrally installed with the cuff 10, but it is also possible to be provided separately from the cuff, and to be fluidically connectable to the cuff 10 (the air bag 12) via a flexible air tube.

[0131] In the above-described embodiment, the usual blood pressure measurement program, the nighttime blood pressure measurement program, the measurement time setting program, the measurement time comparison program, the measurement time updating program, and the flow thereof are stored in the sphygmomanometer memory 112 as software, but it is also possible to be stored in a CD (Compact Disc), a DVD (Digital Versatile Disc), a flash memory, or the like non-transitory medium. By installing the software stored in the above-described medium in a physical computer device such as a personal computer, a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), a smartphone, or the like, it is possible to cause these computer devices to execute the above-described programs and flows.
