The online detection method includes irradiating a test field with multiple X-rays of known energies by the accelerator; acquiring first measurement values of the first X-rays after passing through absorbers of different thicknesses using a detector module; obtaining a first absorbed dose value from the first measurement value; establishing a first relationship curve based on the first absorbed dose value and forming a set of standard curves; irradiating the test field with second X-rays by the accelerator; establishing a second relationship curve corresponding to the energy of the second X-rays; including the second relationship curve in the set of standard curves; and determining the energy of the second X-ray based on the energy interval between the two adjacent first relationship curves. By analyzing the relationship between the measured values received by the detector module and the thickness of the absorber at the incident end of the detector module with the X-ray energy, online detection of the X-ray energy irradiated by the accelerator can be achieved.
