[0056] In time division duplexing, separate time slots may be designated for uplink or downlink traffic. In some cases, a first user equipment (UE) may send communications to a first network entity during a first time slot, and a second UE may receive communications from a second network entity during a second time slot, wherein the first time slot and the second time slot overlap in the time domain. In some examples, the first time slot may be an uplink time slot, and the second time slot may be a downlink time slot. Additionally or alternatively, the first time slot, the second time slot, or both may be sub-band full-duplex (SBFD) time slots, wherein the first time slot includes one or more uplink sub-bands and the downlink time slot includes one or more downlink sub-bands, wherein the one or more uplink sub-bands are associated with frequency resources that do not overlap with frequency resources associated with one or more downlink time slots (e.g., which may be referred to as sub-band half-duplex (SBHD) time slots).

[0057] Due to the respective time slot configurations of the first UE and the second UE, there may be cross link interference (CLI) between the first UE and the second UE and / or between the first network entity and the second network entity. When one or both network entities employ dynamic TDD (D-TDD), the designation of time slots as downlink, uplink, or special may occur on the fly in response to real-time scenarios. Therefore, without communication or coordination between network entities, it may be difficult to predict and reduce the CLI between the first UE and the second UE, between the first network entity and the second network entity, or between the two. Therefore, techniques for coordinating the time slot formats of multiple UEs may be desired.

[0058] Thus, the techniques described herein may support resource restrictions in SBFD and dynamic TDD operations, such that CLI may be reduced. For example, a first network entity communicating with a first UE may send coordination information that may indicate one or more time slots for resource restrictions to a second network entity communicating with a second UE. The second network entity may receive the coordination information and send control signaling indicating restrictions on one or more time slots to the second UE, wherein each time slot includes one or more subbands. The restriction may modify the availability or duplex setting of at least a portion of one or more subbands. For example, a first time slot in the one or more time slots may be a dynamic TDD uplink time slot, wherein the first time slot includes an uplink subband associated with a frequency resource set, and the restriction may indicate a subset of the frequency resource set of the uplink subband, so that the second UE may receive uplink signaling (e.g., modify the availability of the uplink subband of the first time slot) via the frequency resource subset. In another example, the first time slot may be a SBFD time slot including an uplink subband and a downlink subband, and the restriction may indicate the downlink subband so that the second UE may send downlink signaling via the downlink subband (e.g., modify the duplex setting of the first time slot). The second UE may communicate with the second network via at least a subset of one or more subbands of one or more time slots according to the restriction, thereby reducing the CLI between the first UE and the second UE.

[0059] Various aspects of the present disclosure are first described in the context of a wireless communication system. Various aspects of the present disclosure are then described in the context of a resource limitation scenario and process flow. Various aspects of the present disclosure are further illustrated and described by and with reference to apparatus diagrams, system diagrams, and flow charts related to resource limitation for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations.

[0060] Figure 1An example of a wireless communication system 100 that supports resource restrictions for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations according to one or more aspects of the present disclosure is illustrated. The wireless communication system 100 may include one or more network entities 105, one or more UEs 115, and a core network 130. In some examples, the wireless communication system 100 may be a long term evolution (LTE) network, an advanced LTE (LTE-A) network, an LTE-A Pro network, a new radio (NR) network, or a network operating according to other systems and radio technologies (including future systems and radio technologies not explicitly mentioned herein).

[0061] The network entities 105 may be dispersed throughout a geographic area to form the wireless communication system 100, and may include devices in different forms or with different capabilities. In various examples, the network entities 105 may be referred to as network elements, mobility elements, radio access network (RAN) nodes, or network equipment, among other names. In some examples, the network entities 105 and the UE 115 may communicate wirelessly via one or more communication links 125 (e.g., radio frequency (RF) access links). For example, the network entity 105 may support a coverage area 110 (e.g., a geographic coverage area), and the UE 115 and the network entity 105 may establish one or more communication links 125 over the coverage area. The coverage area 110 may be an example of a geographic area, and the network entity 105 and the UE 115 may support signal communications over the geographic area according to one or more radio access technologies (RATs).

[0062] The UEs 115 may be dispersed throughout the coverage area 110 of the wireless communication system 100, and each UE 115 may be stationary or mobile, or stationary and mobile at different times. The UEs 115 may be devices in different forms or with different capabilities. Figure 1 Some example UEs 115 are illustrated in FIG. 1 . The UEs 115 described herein may be capable of supporting communication with various types of devices, such as Figure 1 Communicate with other UEs 115 or network entities 105) as shown.

[0063] As described herein, a node of the wireless communication system 100 (which may be referred to as a network node or a wireless node) may be a network entity 105 (e.g., any network entity described herein), a UE 115 (e.g., any UE described herein), a network controller, an apparatus, a device, a computing system, one or more components, or another suitable processing entity configured to perform any of the techniques described herein. For example, the node may be a UE 115. As another example, the node may be a network entity 105. As another example, a first node may be configured to communicate with a second node or a third node. In one aspect of this example, the first node may be a UE 115, the second node may be a network entity 105, and the third node may be a UE 115. In another aspect of this example, the first node may be a UE 115, the second node may be a network entity 105, and the third node may be a network entity 105. In other aspects of this example, the first node, the second node, and the third node may be different relative to these examples. Similarly, references to UE 115, network entity 105, apparatus, device, computing system, etc. may include disclosure of UE 115, network entity 105, apparatus, device, computing system, etc. as nodes. For example, a disclosure that UE 115 is configured to receive information from network entity 105 also discloses that the first node is configured to receive information from a second node.

[0064] In some examples, the network entities 105 may communicate with the core network 130, or with each other, or both. For example, the network entities 105 may communicate with the core network 130 via one or more backhaul links 120 (e.g., according to S1, N2, N3, or other interface protocols). In some examples, the network entities 105 may communicate with each other directly (e.g., directly between the network entities 105) or indirectly (e.g., via the core network 130) via the backhaul communication link 120 (e.g., according to X2, Xn, or other interface protocols). In some examples, the network entities 105 may communicate with each other via the midhaul communication link 162 (e.g., according to the midhaul interface protocol) or the fronthaul communication link 168 (e.g., according to the fronthaul interface protocol) or any combination thereof. The backhaul communication link 120, the midhaul communication link 162, or the fronthaul communication link 168 may be or include one or more wired links (e.g., electrical links, optical fiber links), one or more wireless links (e.g., radio links, wireless optical links), or other examples or various combinations thereof. UE 115 may communicate with core network 130 via communication link 155 .

[0065] One or more of the network entities 105 described herein may include or may be referred to as a base station 140 (e.g., a transceiver base station, a radio base station, an NR base station, an access point, a radio transceiver, a Node B, an evolved Node B (eNB), a next generation Node B, or a Gigabit Node B (any of which may be referred to as a gNB), a 5G NB, a next generation eNB (ng-eNB), a Home Node B, a Home Evolved Node B, or other suitable terms). In some examples, the network entity 105 (e.g., a base station 140) may be implemented in an aggregated (e.g., monolithic, standalone) base station architecture, which may be configured to utilize a protocol stack that is physically or logically integrated within a single network entity 105 (e.g., a single RAN node, such as a base station 140).

[0066] In some examples, the network entity 105 may be implemented in a disaggregated architecture (e.g., a disaggregated base station architecture, a disaggregated RAN architecture) that may be configured to utilize a protocol stack that is physically or logically distributed between two or more network entities 105, such as an integrated access backhaul (IAB) network, an open RAN (O-RAN) (e.g., a network configuration sponsored by the O-RAN Alliance), or a virtualized RAN (vRAN) (e.g., a cloud RAN (C-RAN)). For example, the network entity 105 may include one or more of the following: a central unit (CU) 160, a distributed unit (DU) 165, a radio unit (RU) 170, a RAN intelligent controller (RIC) 175 (e.g., a near real-time RIC (near RT RIC), a non-real-time RIC (non-RT RIC)), a service management and orchestration (SMO) 180 system, or any combination thereof. The RU 170 may also be referred to as a radio head, a smart radio head, a remote radio head (RRH), a remote radio unit (RRU), or a transmit receive point (TRP). One or more components of the network entity 105 in the decomposed RAN architecture may be co-located, or one or more components of the network entity 105 may be located in distributed locations (e.g., separate physical locations). In some examples, one or more network entities 105 of the decomposed RAN architecture may be implemented as virtual units (e.g., virtual CU (VCU), virtual DU (VDU), virtual RU (VRU)).

[0067] The functional split between CU 160, DU 165, and RU 170 is flexible and can support different functionalities, depending on which functions (e.g., network layer functions, protocol layer functions, baseband functions, RF functions, and any combination thereof) are performed at CU 160, DU 165, or RU 170. For example, a functional split of a protocol stack can be employed between CU 160 and DU 165, such that CU 160 can support one or more layers of a protocol stack and DU 165 can support one or more different layers of a protocol stack. In some examples, CU 160 can host higher protocol layer (e.g., layer 3 (L3), layer 2 (L2)) functionality and signaling (e.g., radio resource control (RRC), service data adaptation protocol (SDAP), packet data convergence protocol (PDCP)). The CU 160 may be connected to one or more DUs 165 or RUs 170, and the one or more DUs 165 or RUs 170 may host lower protocol layers, such as layer 1 (L1) (e.g., physical (PHY) layer) or L2 (e.g., radio link control (RLC) layer, medium access control (MAC) layer) functionality and signaling, and may each be at least partially controlled by the CU 160. Additionally or alternatively, a functional split of the protocol stack may be employed between the DU 165 and the RU 170, such that the DU 165 may support one or more layers of the protocol stack, and the RU 170 may support one or more different layers of the protocol stack. The DU 165 may support one or more different cells (e.g., via one or more RUs 170). In some cases, the functional split between CU 160 and DU 165 or between DU 165 and RU 170 may be within the protocol layer (e.g., some functions of the protocol layer may be performed by one of CU 160, DU 165, or RU 170, while other functions of the protocol layer are performed by the other of CU 160, DU 165, or RU 170). CU 160 may be further functionally split into CU control plane (CU-CP) functions and CU user plane (CU-UP) functions. CU 160 may be connected to one or more DUs 165 via midhaul communication links 162 (e.g., F1, F1-c, F1-u), and DU 165 may be connected to one or more RUs 170 via fronthaul communication links 168 (e.g., open fronthaul (FH) interface). In some examples, midhaul communication link 162 or fronthaul communication link 168 may be implemented based on interfaces (eg, channels) between layers of a protocol stack supported by respective network entities 105 that communicate via those communication links.

[0068] In some wireless communication systems (e.g., wireless communication system 100), infrastructure and spectrum resources for radio access may support wireless backhaul link capabilities to supplement wired backhaul connections, thereby providing an IAB network architecture (e.g., to core network 130). In some cases, in an IAB network, one or more network entities 105 (e.g., IAB nodes 104) may be partially controlled by each other. One or more IAB nodes 104 may be referred to as donor entities or IAB donors. One or more DUs 165 or one or more RUs 170 may be controlled in part by one or more CUs 160 associated with a donor network entity 105 (e.g., a donor base station 140). One or more donor network entities 105 (e.g., IAB donors) may communicate with one or more additional network entities 105 (e.g., IAB nodes 104) via supported access and backhaul links (e.g., backhaul communication links 120). The IAB node 104 may include an IAB mobile terminal (IAB-MT) controlled (e.g., scheduled) by a DU 165 of a coupled IAB donor. The IAB-MT may include an independent set of antennas for relaying communications with the UE 115, or may share the same antennas of the IAB node 104 (e.g., of the RU 170) for access via the DU 165 of the IAB node 104 (e.g., referred to as a virtual IAB-MT (vIAB-MT)). In some examples, the IAB node 104 may include a DU 165 that supports communication links with additional entities (e.g., IAB node 104, UE 115) within a relay chain or configuration (e.g., downstream) of the access network. In such cases, one or more components of the decomposed RAN architecture (e.g., one or more IAB nodes 104 or components of the IAB node 104) may be configured to operate according to the techniques described herein.

[0069] Where the techniques described herein are applied to the context of a decomposed RAN architecture, one or more components of the decomposed RAN architecture may be configured to support resource restrictions for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations as described herein. For example, some operations described as being performed by a UE 115 or a network entity 105 (e.g., a base station 140) may additionally or alternatively be performed by one or more components of the decomposed RAN architecture (e.g., an IAB node 104, a DU 165, a CU 160, a RU 170, a RIC 175, a SMO 180).

[0070] UE 115 may include or may be referred to as a mobile device, a wireless device, a remote device, a handheld device, or a subscriber device, or some other suitable terminology, where a "device" may also be referred to as a unit, a station, a terminal, or a client, etc. UE 115 may also include or may be referred to as a personal electronic device, such as a cellular phone, a personal digital assistant (PDA), a tablet computer, a laptop computer, or a personal computer. In some examples, UE 115 may include or may be referred to as a wireless local loop (WLL) station, an Internet of Things (IoT) device, an Internet of Everything (IoE) device, or a machine type communication (MTC) device, etc., which may be implemented in various objects such as appliances or vehicles, meters, etc.

[0071] The UE 115 described herein may be capable of communicating with various types of devices, such as other UEs 115, which may sometimes act as relays, as well as network entities 105 and network equipment including macro eNBs or gNBs, small cell eNBs or gNBs, or relay base stations, etc. Figure 1 shown.

[0072] The UE 115 and the network entity 105 may wirelessly communicate with each other via one or more communication links 125 (e.g., access links) using resources associated with one or more carriers. The term "carrier" may refer to a collection of RF spectrum resources having a defined physical layer structure for supporting the communication link 125. For example, a carrier for the communication link 125 may include a portion of an RF spectrum band (e.g., a bandwidth portion (BWP)) that operates according to one or more physical layer channels for a given radio access technology (e.g., LTE, LTE-A, LTE-A Pro, NR). Each physical layer channel may carry acquisition signaling (e.g., synchronization signals, system information), control signaling for coordinating carrier operations, user data, or other signaling. The wireless communication system 100 may support communications with the UE 115 using carrier aggregation or multi-carrier operation. Depending on the carrier aggregation configuration, the UE 115 may be configured to have multiple downlink component carriers and one or more uplink component carriers. Carrier aggregation may be used for both frequency division duplex (FDD) component carriers and time division duplex (TDD) component carriers. Communication between the network entity 105 and other devices may refer to communication between a device and any portion (e.g., entity, sub-entity) of the network entity 105. For example, the terms "send," "receive," or "communicate" when referring to the network entity 105 may refer to any portion of the network entity 105 (e.g., base station 140, CU 160, DU 165, RU 170) of the RAN communicating with another device (e.g., directly or via one or more other network entities 105).

[0073] The signal waveform transmitted via the carrier wave may be composed of multiple subcarriers (e.g., using multi-carrier modulation (MCM) techniques, such as orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) or discrete Fourier transform spread OFDM (DFT-S-OFDM)). In a system using MCM techniques, a resource element may refer to a resource of one symbol period (e.g., the duration of one modulation symbol) and one subcarrier, in which case the symbol period and the subcarrier spacing may be inversely related. The number of bits carried by each resource element may depend on the modulation scheme (e.g., the order of the modulation scheme, the coding rate of the modulation scheme, or both), so that a relatively high number of resource elements (e.g., in the transmission duration) and a relatively high order modulation scheme may correspond to a relatively high communication rate. Wireless communication resources may refer to a combination of RF spectrum resources, time resources, and spatial resources (e.g., spatial layers, beams), and the use of multiple spatial resources may increase the data rate or data integrity of the communication with the UE 115.

[0074] The time interval for the network entity 105 or the UE 115 may be expressed in multiples of a basic time unit, which may be, for example, a sampling period T s =1 / (Δf max ·N f ) seconds, where Δf max It can represent the supported subcarrier spacing, and N f The supported discrete Fourier transform (DFT) size may be indicated. The time intervals of the communication resources may be organized according to radio frames, each having a specified duration (e.g., 10 milliseconds (ms)). Each radio frame may be identified by a system frame number (SFN) (e.g., ranging from 0 to 1023).

[0075] Each frame may include multiple consecutively numbered subframes or time slots, and each subframe or time slot may have the same duration. In some examples, the frame may be divided into subframes (e.g., in the time domain), and each subframe may be further divided into multiple time slots. Alternatively, each frame may include a variable number of time slots, and the number of time slots may depend on the subcarrier spacing. Each time slot may include multiple symbol periods (e.g., depending on the length of the cyclic prefix added before each symbol period). In some wireless communication systems 100, the time slot may also be divided into multiple mini-time slots associated with one or more symbols. Excluding the cyclic prefix, each symbol period may be associated with one or more (e.g., N f The duration of a symbol period may depend on the subcarrier spacing or the operating frequency band.

[0076] A subframe, a time slot, a mini-time slot, or a symbol may be the smallest scheduling unit (e.g., in the time domain) of the wireless communication system 100 and may be referred to as a transmission time interval (TTI). In some examples, the TTI duration (e.g., the number of symbol periods in a TTI) may be variable. Additionally or alternatively, the smallest scheduling unit of the wireless communication system 100 may be dynamically selected (e.g., in bursts of shortened TTIs (sTTIs)).

[0077] Physical channels may be multiplexed using carriers for communication according to various techniques. For example, physical control channels and physical data channels may be multiplexed via downlink carriers for signaling using one or more of a time division multiplexing (TDM) technique, a frequency division multiplexing (FDM) technique, or a hybrid TDM-FDM technique. A control region (e.g., a control resource set (CORESET)) for a physical control channel may be defined by a set of symbol periods and may extend across a system bandwidth or a subset of a system bandwidth of a carrier. One or more control regions (e.g., CORESETs) may be configured for a set of UEs 115. For example, one or more UEs in UE 115 may monitor or search a control region for control information according to one or more search space sets, and each search space set may include one or more control channel candidates in one or more aggregation levels arranged in a cascaded manner. The aggregation level of a control channel candidate may refer to the amount of control channel resources (e.g., control channel elements (CCEs)) associated with coded information for a control information format having a given payload size. The search space sets may include a common search space set configured for transmitting control information to a plurality of UEs 115 , and a UE-specific search space set for transmitting control information to a specific UE 115 .

[0078] In some examples, the network entities 105 (e.g., base stations 140, RUs 170) may be mobile and thus provide communication coverage for mobile coverage areas 110. In some examples, different coverage areas 110 associated with different technologies may overlap, but the different coverage areas 110 may be supported by the same network entity 105. In some other examples, overlapping coverage areas 110 associated with different technologies may be supported by different network entities 105. The wireless communication system 100 may include, for example, a heterogeneous network in which different types of network entities 105 provide coverage for various coverage areas 110 using the same or different radio access technologies.

[0079] The wireless communication system 100 may be configured to support ultra-reliable communication or low-latency communication or various combinations thereof. For example, the wireless communication system 100 may be configured to support ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC). The UE 115 may be designed to support ultra-reliable or low-latency or critical functions. Ultra-reliable communication may include private communication or group communication, and may be supported by one or more services (such as push-to-talk, video, or data). Support for ultra-reliable, low-latency functions may include prioritization of services, and such services may be used for public safety applications or general commercial applications. The terms ultra-reliable, low-latency, and ultra-reliable low-latency are used interchangeably herein.

[0080] In some examples, a UE 115 may be configured to support communication directly with other UEs 115 via a device-to-device (D2D) communication link 135 (e.g., according to a peer-to-peer (P2P), D2D, or sidelink protocol). In some examples, one or more UEs 115 in a group that are performing D2D communication may be within a coverage area 110 of a network entity 105 (e.g., a base station 140, a RU 170), which may support various aspects of such D2D communication configured (e.g., scheduled) by the network entity 105. In some examples, one or more UEs 115 of such a group may be outside of the coverage area 110 of the network entity 105, or may otherwise be unable or not configured to receive transmissions from the network entity 105. In some examples, a group of UEs 115 communicating via D2D communication may support a one-to-many (1:M) system, in which each UE 115 transmits to each of the other UEs 115 in the group. In some examples, network entity 105 may facilitate scheduling of resources for D2D communications. In some other examples, D2D communications may be conducted between UEs 115 without involving network entity 105.

[0081] The core network 130 may provide user authentication, access authorization, tracking, Internet Protocol (IP) connectivity, and other access, routing, or mobility functions. The core network 130 may be an evolved packet core (EPC) or a 5G core (5GC), which may include at least one control plane entity for managing access and mobility (e.g., a mobility management entity (MME), an access and mobility management function (AMF)) and at least one user plane entity for routing packets or interconnecting to an external network (e.g., a serving gateway (S-GW)), a packet data network (PDN) gateway (P-GW), or a user plane function (UPF)). The control plane entity may manage non-access stratum (NAS) functions, such as mobility, authentication, and bearer management for UE 115 served by a network entity 105 (e.g., a base station 140) associated with the core network 130. User IP packets may be delivered via the user plane entity, which may provide IP address allocation and other functions. The user plane entity may be connected to an IP service 150 for one or more network operators. IP services 150 may include access to the Internet, an intranet, an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), or packet-switched streaming services.

[0082] The wireless communication system 100 may operate using one or more frequency bands that may be in the range of 300 megahertz (MHz) to 300 gigahertz (GHz). Typically, the region from 300 MHz to 3 GHz is referred to as the ultra-high frequency (UHF) region or decimeter band because the wavelength range is approximately one decimeter to one meter. UHF waves may be blocked or redirected by buildings and environmental features (which may be referred to as clusters), but these waves may be sufficient to penetrate structures so that macro cells provide services to UEs 115 located indoors. Communications using UHF waves may be associated with smaller antennas and shorter ranges (e.g., less than 100 kilometers) than communications using lower frequencies and longer waves in the high frequency (HF) or very high frequency (VHF) portions of the spectrum below 300 MHz.

[0083] The wireless communication system 100 may utilize both licensed RF spectrum bands and unlicensed RF spectrum bands. For example, the wireless communication system 100 may employ license assisted access (LAA), LTE unlicensed (LTE-U) radio access technology, or NR technology using unlicensed bands such as the 5 GHz industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) band. When operating using unlicensed RF spectrum bands, devices such as network entities 105 and UE 115 may employ carrier sensing for conflict detection and avoidance. In some examples, operations using unlicensed bands may be based on carrier aggregation configuration in combination with component carriers operating using licensed bands (e.g., LAA). Operations using unlicensed spectrum may include downlink transmissions, uplink transmissions, P2P transmissions, or D2D transmissions, and the like.

[0084] The network entity 105 (e.g., base station 140, RU 170) or UE 115 may be equipped with multiple antennas that can be used to employ technologies such as transmit diversity, receive diversity, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communications, or beamforming. The antennas of the network entity 105 or UE 115 may be located in one or more antenna arrays or antenna panels that can support MIMO operations or transmit or receive beamforming. For example, one or more base station antennas or antenna arrays may be co-located at an antenna assembly such as an antenna tower. In some examples, antennas or antenna arrays associated with the network entity 105 may be located at different geographical locations. The network entity 105 may include an antenna array having a set of rows and columns of antenna ports that the network entity 105 can use to support beamforming for communications with the UE 115. Similarly, the UE 115 may include one or more antenna arrays that can support various MIMO or beamforming operations. Additionally or alternatively, the antenna panel may support RF beamforming for signals sent via the antenna ports.

[0085] Beamforming (which may also be referred to as spatial filtering, directional transmission, or directional reception) is a signal processing technique that may be used at a transmitting device or a receiving device (e.g., a network entity 105, a UE 115) to shape or steer an antenna beam (e.g., a transmit beam, a receive beam) along a spatial path between the transmitting device and the receiving device. Beamforming may be achieved by combining signals conveyed via antenna elements of an antenna array so that some signals propagating along a particular orientation relative to the antenna array experience constructive interference, while other signals experience destructive interference. Adjustments to signals conveyed via antenna elements may include the transmitting device or the receiving device applying an amplitude offset, a phase offset, or both to signals carried via antenna elements associated with the device. Adjustments associated with each of the antenna elements may be defined by a set of beamforming weights associated with a particular orientation (e.g., relative to the antenna array of the transmitting device or the receiving device or relative to some other orientation).

[0086] The wireless communication system 100 may support resource restrictions for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations. For example, a first network entity 105 communicating with a first UE 115 may send coordination information that may indicate one or more time slots for resource restrictions to a second network entity 105 communicating with a second UE 115. The second network entity 105 may receive the coordination information and send control signaling indicating restrictions on one or more time slots to the second UE 115, wherein each time slot includes one or more subbands. The restriction may modify the availability or duplex setting of at least a portion of the one or more subbands (e.g., during one or more time slots).

[0087] In some cases, the first time slot of the one or more time slots may be a dynamic TDD time slot. For example, the first time slot may be an uplink time slot including an uplink subband associated with a frequency resource set, and the restriction may indicate a subset of the frequency resource set of the uplink subband. In such cases, the restriction may indicate a subset of the frequency resource set of the uplink subband, so that the second UE 115 may receive uplink signaling (e.g., modify the availability of the uplink subband of the first time slot) via the frequency resource subset. In some other examples, the first time slot may be a downlink time slot including a downlink subband associated with a frequency resource set, and the restriction may indicate a subset of the frequency resource set of the downlink subband. In such cases, the restriction may indicate a subset of the frequency resource set of the downlink subband, so that the second UE 115 may receive downlink signaling (e.g., modify the availability of the downlink subband of the first time slot) via the frequency resource subset.

[0088] Additionally or alternatively, the first time slot may be a SBFD time slot including one or more uplink subbands and one or more downlink subbands. In some examples, the restriction may indicate at least one uplink subband of the one or more uplink subbands, so that the second UE 115 may receive uplink signaling (e.g., modify the duplex setting of the first time slot) via at least one uplink subband. In some other examples, the restriction may indicate at least one downlink subband of the one or more downlink subbands, so that the second UE 115 may send downlink signaling (e.g., modify the duplex setting of the first time slot) via at least one downlink subband.

[0089] The second UE 115 may communicate with the second network entity 105 via at least a subset of the one or more subbands of the one or more time slots according to the restriction, thereby reducing the CLI between the first UE 115 and the second UE 115.

[0090] Figure 2 An example of a wireless communication system 200 that supports resource restrictions for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations according to one or more aspects of the present disclosure is illustrated. In some examples, the wireless communication system 200 can implement aspects of the wireless communication system 100. For example, the wireless communication system 200 may include one or more network entities 105 (e.g., network entity 105-a and network entity 105-b) and one or more UEs 115 (e.g., UE 115-a and UE 115-b), which may be as described in reference to Figure 1 Examples of corresponding devices described. Figure 2 In the example of FIG. 1 , the network entity 105 may be a CU 160, a DU 165, a RU 170, a base station 140, an IAB node 104, or a Figure 1Examples of one or more other network nodes described. The wireless communication system 100 may include features for reducing CLI between the UE 115 and the network, as well as other benefits.

[0091] exist Figure 2 In the example of , UE 115 and network entity 105 may communicate via one or more communication links 205, via one or more communication links 210 (e.g., communication link 210-a and communication link 210-b), and via one or more communication links 215. Communication link 205 may be an example of an uplink communication link 205, communication link 210 may be an example of a downlink communication link 210, and communication link 215 may be an example of a backhaul communication link 215. Additionally or alternatively, communication link 205 and communication link 210 may each be as described in reference Figure 1 An example of the communication link 125 described. The wireless communication system 200 may illustrate a communication device (e.g., one or more UEs 115, one or more network entities 105) operating in a full-duplex mode (e.g., performing full-duplex wireless communication) or a half-duplex TDD mode (e.g., performing half-duplex TDD wireless communication). That is, full-duplex or half-duplex TDD capabilities may exist at one or more network entities 105, one or more UEs 115, or both. For example, the wireless communication system 200 may support a TDD radio band (e.g., a radio spectrum band configured for TDD communication), an FDD radio band (e.g., a radio spectrum band configured for FDD communication), full-duplex communication at one or more network entities 105 (and / or one or more UEs 115), half-duplex communication at one or more UEs 115, or any combination thereof. In some examples, the wireless communication system 200 may support dynamic TDD (e.g., half-duplex dynamic TDD). That is, the communications device may support one or more flexible time slots 235 that may be configured (eg, dynamically) for downlink data 225 or uplink data 230 .

[0092] In some examples, each wireless communication system 200 may support multiple types of full-duplex operation. For example, a communication device (e.g., network entity 105, UE 115) operating within the wireless communication system 200 may support in-band full-duplex (IBFD) operation, sub-band FDD (SBFD) operation (e.g., frequency division duplex operation), or both. In some examples of IBFD operation, a communication device may send and receive wireless communications on the same time and frequency resources (e.g., the same time slot 235 and component carrier bandwidth). For example, downlink communications and uplink communications may share time and frequency resources (e.g., IBFD time and frequency resources). In some examples, time and frequency resources may partially overlap or completely overlap. Additionally or alternatively, for SBFD operation, a communication device may send and receive communications on the same time resources and one or more different frequency resources. That is, downlink resources may be separated from uplink resources in the frequency domain.

[0093] exist Figure 2 In an example of , network entity 105-b may support SBFD operation such that downlink communications sent by network entity 105-b (e.g., to UE 115-c) may overlap in time with uplink communications received by network entity 105-b (e.g., from UE 115-b). In some examples, network entity 105-b may configure communications for UE 115-b and UE 115-c according to resource structure 220 (such as resource structure 220-b). Resource structure 220-b may include time domain resources (e.g., time slots 235, symbols) allocated for downlink data 225 (e.g., time slots 235-a), time domain resources allocated for uplink data 230 (e.g., time slots 235-b and time slots 235-d), and one or more time domain resources (e.g., time slots 235-c) allocated for both downlink data 225 and uplink data 230.

[0094] In some examples, the time domain resources (e.g., time slot 235-c) allocated for both downlink data 225 and uplink data 230 may be referred to as D+U time slots (or D+U symbols). In some examples, the D+U time slots may include half-duplex symbols (e.g., downlink symbols or uplink symbols) or full-duplex symbols (e.g., both downlink symbols and uplink symbols). For example, time slot 235-c (e.g., D+U time slot) may be an example of time slot 235 in which the radio frequency band is used to send both uplink communications (e.g., uplink transmissions) and downlink communications (e.g., downlink transmissions). In some examples, uplink transmissions and downlink transmissions may occur in overlapping bands (e.g., for IBFD operations) or in adjacent bands (e.g., for SBFD operations).

[0095] For SBFD operation in which uplink transmission and downlink transmission occur in adjacent subbands, a half-duplex communication device may transmit in an uplink radio band or receive in a downlink radio band. That is, for a given time domain resource such as a time slot 235-c (e.g., for a given D+U time slot 235 or a given D+U symbol), a half-duplex device (e.g., UE 115-b, UE 115-c) may transmit uplink data 230 in an uplink radio band (e.g., perform a PUSCH transmission) or receive downlink data 225 in a downlink radio band.

[0096] Additionally or alternatively, for SBFD operations in which uplink and downlink transmissions occur in adjacent bands, a full-duplex device may transmit in an uplink radio band and receive in a downlink radio band. That is, for a given time domain resource such as time slot 235-c (e.g., for a given D+U time slot or a given D+U symbol), a full-duplex device (e.g., network entity 105-b) may transmit uplink data 230 in an uplink radio band (e.g., perform a PUSCH transmission) and receive downlink data 225 in a downlink radio band.

[0097] Additionally or alternatively, neighboring communication devices (e.g., neighboring UE 115, neighboring network entity 105) may concurrently perform full-duplex communication or half-duplex TDD, such that communications received by a first communication device (such as UE 115-a) may overlap in time with communications sent by a second communication device (such as UE 115-b) (e.g., a neighboring communication device). In such an example, communications sent by the second communication device may interfere with communications received at the first communication device. For example, communications sent by the second communication device may result in CLIs (e.g., CLI 240-a, CLI 240-b, and CLI 240-c) at the first communication device.

[0098] In some examples, network entity 105-b may operate in full-duplex mode (e.g., SBFD or IBFD) and UE 115 (e.g., UE 115-b and UE 115-c) may operate in half-duplex mode. For example, network entity 105-b may receive uplink communications from UE 115-b (e.g., via communication link 205) while simultaneously sending downlink communications to UE 115-c (e.g., via communication link 210-b). In such examples, full-duplex communications at network entity 105-b may result in self-interference 245. Additionally or alternatively, network entity 105-a and network entity 105-b (e.g., adjacent network entities) may concurrently perform full-duplex communications or half-duplex TDD communications such that downlink signals sent by network entity 105-a may overlap uplink signals received by network entity 105-b, resulting in CLI 240-a. Additionally or alternatively, UE 115-a and UE 115-b or UE 115-b and UE 115-c (e.g., adjacent UEs) may concurrently perform half-duplex TDD communications such that an uplink signal sent by UE 115-b may overlap with a downlink signal received by UE 115-a and / or UE 115-c, which may result in CLI 240-b and / or CLI 240-c.

[0099] Additionally or alternatively, the wireless communication system 200 may support sub-band half-duplex (SBHD) operation (e.g., to enable dynamic TDD in FR1 macro cell deployments with flexible adaptation of traffic-based time slot formats). For example, in time slot 235-b (e.g., asynchronous time slot 235), the network entity 105-a may schedule downlink transmissions and the network entity 105-b may schedule uplink transmissions (e.g., traffic in different directions). Additionally, the frequency resources of time slot 235-b may be split into one or more downlink subbands 250 (such as downlink subband 250-a and downlink subband 250-b (e.g., in resource structure 220-a)) and one or more uplink subbands 255 (such as uplink subband 255). Thus, network entity 105-a may send downlink data 225 to UE 115-a via downlink subband 250-a and downlink subband 250-b, and network entity 105-b may receive uplink data 230 from UE 115-c via uplink subband 255 (e.g., providing frequency isolation between UE 115-a and UE 115-b, thereby reducing CLI 240-a).

[0100] In some cases, to reduce CLI, one or more network entities 105 (such as network entity 105-a and network entity 105-b) may coordinate the time slot formats (e.g., SBFD formats) in the corresponding resource structure 220. For example, the network entity 115 may support coordination via a common (e.g., UE 115-specific) time slot format (e.g., TDD-UL-DL time slot format). However, one or more network entities 105 may change one or more time slot formats to adapt (e.g., opportunistically) uplink communications, downlink communications, or both. Therefore, one or more network entities 105 may send control signaling indicating one or more time slot formats to the corresponding UE 115 based on each time slot format change (e.g., RRC reconfiguring one or more time slot formats), thereby resulting in increased overhead (e.g., inefficiency).

[0101] Thus, to reduce interference within the wireless communication system 200, in accordance with the techniques described herein, a network (e.g., one or more network entities 105) may employ resource restrictions for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations. For example, a first network entity 105 (e.g., network entity 105-b) may adapt (e.g., dynamically adapt) one or more time slot formats (e.g., SBFD formats) in a resource structure 220-b based on the transmission of downlink data 225 to a UE 115-c (e.g., downlink traffic), the reception of uplink data 230 from a UE 115-b (e.g., uplink traffic), or both. In some cases, the network entity 105-b may periodically (e.g., every X frames) adapt (e.g., change) the resource structure 220-b. Thus, the network entity 105-b may send coordination information 260 indicating one or more time slot formats (e.g., SBFD formats), one or more time slots 235 for restrictions, or both (e.g., including information about semi-static signals) to a second network entity such as the network entity 105-a. In such cases, the network entity 105 may operate according to a full-duplex mode (eg, be a full-duplex network entity 105 ), and the UE 115 may operate according to a half-duplex mode (eg, be a half-duplex UE 115 ).

[0102] The network entity 105-a may send a restriction indication 265 to the UE 115-a (e.g., via control signaling) based on the coordination information 260. In some examples, the restriction indication 265 may indicate (e.g., via a time and / or frequency pattern) one or more uplink resources, one or more downlink resources, or both that may be used for communication, that are restricted from communication, or both. That is, the UE 115-a may determine the uplink time slots 235, the downlink time slots 235, or both that may be used for communication (e.g., for half-duplex operation), or may restrict full-duplex operation at the UE 115-a.

[0103] In some cases (e.g., SBFD operation), the restriction indication 265 may indicate that the UE 115-a is restricted to communicating via one or more uplink subbands 255 during the time slot 235, or is restricted to communicating via one or more downlink subbands 250 during the time slot 235, as described in reference to FIG. Figure 3A In some other cases (e.g., dynamic TDD), the restriction indication 265 may indicate a corresponding subband configuration associated with each time slot 235 associated with the UE 115-a, as described in reference Figure 3B As described. For example, the restriction indication 265 may indicate a first subband configuration associated with (e.g., used for) the first time slot 235, a second subband configuration associated with the second time slot 235, and a third subband configuration associated with the third time slot 235. In some examples, two or more of the first subband configuration, the second subband configuration, and the third subband configuration may be the same. Additionally or alternatively, two or more of the first subband configuration, the second subband configuration, and the third subband configuration may be different. Therefore, the UE 115 may communicate with the network entity 105-b based on the restriction indication 265.

[0104] In some cases, UE 115-a may receive control signaling indicating multiple time slot restriction configurations (e.g., modes or masks). Each time slot restriction configuration may be associated with a set of time slots 235 (e.g., SBFD time slots 235), where each time slot 235 is further associated with a restriction. For example (e.g., not depicted), UE 115-a may be associated with three time slots 235 (e.g., a first time slot 235, a second time slot 235, and a third time slot 235), each of which is associated with one or more downlink subbands 250 and one or more uplink subbands 255, which may be referred to as SBFD time slots 235. Thus, UE 115-a may receive control signaling indicating a first time slot restriction configuration (e.g., DDU) that restricts UE 115-a from communicating via one or more uplink subbands 255 during the first time slot 235 and the second time slot 235 (e.g., allowing communication via one or more downlink subbands 250 during the first time slot 235 and the second time slot 235) and restricts UE 115-a from communicating via one or more downlink subbands 250 during the third time slot 235 (e.g., allowing communication via one or more uplink subbands 255 during the third time slot 235). Additionally, the control signaling may indicate a second time slot restriction configuration (e.g., DUU) that restricts the UE 115-a from communicating via one or more uplink subbands 255 during the first time slot 235 (e.g., allows communication via one or more downlink subbands 250 during the first time slot 235) and restricts the UE 115-a from communicating via one or more downlink subbands 250 during the second time slot 235 and the third time slot 235 (e.g., allows communication via one or more downlink subbands 250 during the second time slot 235 and the third time slot 235). In some examples, the control signaling may indicate a third time slot restriction configuration (e.g., no_restriction, a default configuration), which may indicate that no restriction is to be applied to the three time slots 235. Thus, the restriction indication 265 (e.g., via L1 / L2 signaling) indicates a restricted time slot configuration among a plurality of restricted time slot configurations (e.g., the first time slot restriction configuration, the second time slot restriction configuration, and the third time slot restriction configuration).

[0105] In some examples (e.g., SBFD operation), the network entity 105-a may send (e.g., via MAC-CE signaling) a restriction indication 265 indicating a single resource restriction configuration, which may also be referred to as a restriction mode (e.g., a mode of restricted or allowed downlink subbands 250 or uplink subbands 255). That is, the restriction indication 265 may include a cell identifier (e.g., a serving cell ID) and a field indicating the restriction mode. For example, the field may be a bitmap, and each bit in the bitmap may be associated with a time slot 235 in a set of time slots 235. That is, the length of the bitmap may be associated with the number (e.g., quantity) of time slots 235 (e.g., full-duplex time slots, SBFD time slots) associated with the restriction mode (which may be referred to as a time slot mode). Additionally, the value of each bit in the bitmap may correspond to a restriction. For example, a first value (e.g., 0) may indicate that the UE 115-a is restricted from communicating via one or more uplink subbands 255 during the associated time slot 235 (e.g., communication is allowed via the downlink subband 250), and a second value (e.g., 1) may indicate that the UE 115-a is restricted from communicating via one or more downlink subbands 250 during the associated time slot 235 (e.g., communication is allowed via one or more uplink subbands 255). Additionally or alternatively, the field indicating the restriction mode may include multiple subfields, each of which may be associated with a time slot 235 in a set of time slots 235. That is, the number of subfields may be associated with the number (e.g., quantity) of time slots 235 (e.g., full-duplex time slots, SBFD time slots) associated with the time slot mode. Additionally, the value indicated in each subfield may correspond to a restriction. For example, a first value (e.g., 0) may indicate that there is no restriction during the associated time slot 235 (e.g., communication is allowed via the downlink subband 250 and the uplink subband 255), a second value (e.g., 1) may indicate that the UE 115-a is restricted from communicating via one or more uplink subbands 255 during the associated time slot 235 (e.g., communication is allowed via the downlink subband 250), and a third value may indicate that the UE 115-a is restricted from communicating via one or more downlink subbands 250 during the associated time slot 235 (e.g., communication is allowed via one or more uplink subbands 255). In some cases, a fourth value (e.g., 3) may be associated with a configurable restriction (e.g., a special case). For example, the fourth value may indicate that the UE 115-a is allowed to communicate via one or more uplink subbands 255, via an indicated (e.g., or pre-configured) beam, or both during the associated time slot 235 in accordance with power backoff.

[0106] In some examples (e.g., SBFD operation), the network entity 105 may send the restriction indication 265 via UE-specific control signaling (e.g., UE-specific DCI). That is, the network entity 105 may send the restriction indication 265 to the UE 115-a via control signaling associated with the UE 115-a. In some cases, the control signaling may include a field (e.g., in a new DCI format) indicating a restriction mode (e.g., a mode of restricted or allowed downlink subbands 250 or uplink subbands 255), as previously described. In some other cases, the control signaling including the restriction indication 265 may be non-scheduled control signaling (e.g., non-scheduled DCI), and a field (e.g., an existing, unused field) in the non-scheduled control signaling may include the restriction indication 265.

[0107] Instead, the network entity 105 may send the restriction indication 265 via group common control signaling. That is, the network entity 105-a may communicate with a plurality of UEs 115 (including UE 115-a), wherein the plurality of UEs 115 belong to a group (e.g., a cell group). Accordingly, the network entity may send control signaling associated with the cell group, which may be referred to as group common control signaling, wherein the control signaling includes a restriction indication 265 for each UE 115 in the cell group. That is, each UE 115 in the cell group may be associated with (e.g., configured with) a position (e.g., DCI position) in the control signaling, and each position may include a restriction indication 265 associated with the corresponding UE 115 (e.g., similar to a slot format indicator (SFI)). For example, the UE 115-a may receive the group common control signaling associated with the cell group and may determine (e.g., read) the restriction indication 265 associated with the UE 115-a (e.g., based on the corresponding position in the group common control signaling).

[0108] In some cases, the UE 115-a may apply the restriction indicated via the restriction indication 265 based on a time threshold (e.g., a minimum time requirement). That is, the UE 115-a may receive the restriction indication 265, decode the restriction indication 265, and apply the restriction indicated via the restriction indication 265 within the time threshold. In some examples (e.g., the restriction indication 265 is indicated via L1 signaling), the time threshold may be a first number (e.g., quantity) of time slots 235, wherein the first number of time slots 235 is greater than or equal to a second number of time slots 235 associated with a monitoring periodicity (e.g., a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring periodicity) of a control signaling (e.g., DCI) carrying the restriction indication 265 (e.g., similar to an SFI). Additionally or alternatively (e.g., indicating the restriction indication 265 via L2 (MAC-CE) signaling), the time threshold may be a third number of time slots 235 (e.g., n+3N) after a first time slot 235 (e.g., n) of the one or more time slots 235 that includes feedback information (e.g., hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK)) in response to control signaling (e.g., MAC-CE) carrying the restriction indication 265. Further, the third number of time slots 235 may be based on a fourth number of time slots 235 (e.g., N) in a subframe associated with communication between the UE 115-a and the network entity 105-a.

[0109] Figure 3A and Figure 3B Each illustrates an example of a resource restriction scenario 300 (such as resource restriction scenario 300-a and resource restriction scenario 300-b) that supports resource restriction for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations according to one or more aspects of the present disclosure. In some examples, the resource restriction scenario 300 (resource restriction scenario 300-a and resource restriction scenario 300-b) may implement or be implemented by various aspects of the wireless communication system 100 and the wireless communication system 200. For example, the resource restriction scenario 300 may be implemented by a network entity 105 (e.g., network entity 105-c, network entity 105-d, network entity 105-e, and network entity 105-f) or a UE 115 (e.g., UE 115-d, UE 115-e, UE 115-f, and UE 115-g), which may be as described in reference to FIG. Figure 1 Examples of corresponding devices described. Figure 3A and Figure 3B In some examples, the network entity 105 may be as shown in FIG. Figure 1 Examples of CU 160, DU 165, RU 170, base station 140, IAB node 104, or one or more other network nodes are described. Resource limitation scenario 300 may include features for reducing CLI between UE 115 and the network, among other benefits.

[0110] In some cases, such as Figure 3A As depicted in , network entity 105-c may communicate with UE 115-d during time slot 305-a and time slot 305-b, and network entity 105-d may communicate with UE 115-e during time slot 305-c and time slot 305-d, wherein time slot 305-a overlaps in time with time slot 305-c, and time slot 305-b overlaps in time with time slot 305-d. Additionally, network entity 105-c and UE 115-d may support SBFD operation such that time slot 305-b may be an SBFD time slot 305-b that includes multiple downlink subbands 310 (such as downlink subband 310-a and downlink subband 310-b) and uplink subband 315 (such as uplink subband 315-a). Furthermore, the network entity 105-d and the UE 115-e may support dynamic TDD operation such that the time slot 305-d may be a TDD time slot 305-d including a flexible subband 320. The flexible subband 320 may be configured as one or more downlink subbands 310 or one or more uplink subbands 315.

[0111] In some cases, the network entity 105-c may adapt the format of the time slot 305-b to reduce the CLI between the UE 115-d and the UE 115-e. For example, the network entity 105-c may select a first subband configuration (e.g., a time slot format) including the downlink subband 310-a and the downlink subband 310-b or a second subband configuration including the uplink subband 315-a. Additionally, the network entity 105-c may send coordination information indicating the first subband configuration or the second subband configuration to the network entity 105-d. The network entity 105-d may send control signaling indicating restrictions associated with the time slot 305-d to the UE 115-e based on the coordination information. That is, the network entity 105 - d may configure the UE 115 - e such that SBHD is implemented between the UE 115 - d and the UE 115 - e in the time slot 305 - b and the time slot 305 - d (eg, if the TDD formats are not otherwise aligned or complementary).

[0112] For example, the network entity 105-c may send coordination information (e.g., a first subband configuration) indicating that the UE 115-d is restricted to communicate via the downlink subband 310-a and the downlink subband 310-b during the time slot 305-b, and the network entity 105-d may send a restriction indication to the UE 115-e to restrict downlink communication on the time slot 305-d (e.g., indicating the symbol set of the time slot 305-d as uplink). That is, the UE 115-e may convert the flexible subband 320 to an uplink subband 315-b having a reduced set of frequency resources such that the uplink subband 315-b does not overlap with the downlink subband 310-a and the downlink subband 310-b in the frequency domain. In some cases, UE 115-e may suppress reception (e.g., cancel reception) of downlink signaling (e.g., PDCCH, physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), or channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS)) based on at least partial overlap between a set of frequency resources associated with the downlink signaling and a set of frequency resources associated with an uplink subband 315-b (e.g., similar to an uplink in TDD-UL-DL-common) (e.g., a set of symbols of time slot 305-d).

[0113] Conversely, the network entity 105-c may send coordination information (e.g., a second subband configuration) indicating that the UE 115-d is restricted to communicating via the uplink subband 315-a during the time slot 305-b, and the network entity 105-d may send a restriction indication to the UE 115-e to restrict uplink communication on the time slot 305-d (e.g., indicating the set of symbols on the time slot 305-d as downlink). That is, the UE 115-e may convert the flexible subband 320 into multiple downlink subbands 310 (including the downlink subband 310-c and the downlink subband 310-d) with a reduced set of frequency resources, such that the downlink subband 310-c and the downlink subband 310-d do not overlap with the uplink subband 315 in the frequency domain. In some cases, UE 115-e may refrain from sending (e.g., cancel sending) uplink signaling (e.g., a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), a physical random access channel (PRACH), or a sounding reference signal (SRS)) based on at least partial overlap between a set of frequency resources associated with the uplink signaling and a set of frequency resources associated with downlink subband 310-c, downlink subband 310-d, or both (e.g., similar to the downlink in TDD-UL-DL-common) (e.g., a set of symbols of time slot 305-d).

[0114] In some cases, such as Figure 3BAs depicted, network entity 105-e may communicate with UE 115-f during time slot 305-e and time slot 305-f, and network entity 105-f may communicate with UE 115-g during time slot 305-g and time slot 305-h, wherein time slot 305-e overlaps in time with time slot 305-g, and time slot 305-f overlaps in time with time slot 305-h. Additionally, network entity 105-e, network entity 105-f, UE 115-f, and UE 115-g may support SBFD operation such that time slot 305-f and time slot 305-h may be SBFD time slot 305-f and SBFD time slot 305-h, respectively. That is, the time slot 305-f may include a plurality of downlink subbands 310 (such as downlink subband 310-e and downlink subband 310-f) and an uplink subband 315 (such as uplink subband 315-c). Additionally, the time slot 305-h may include a plurality of downlink subbands 310 (such as downlink subband 310-g and downlink subband 310-h) and an uplink subband 315 (such as uplink subband 315-d).

[0115] In some cases, the network entity 105-e may adapt the format of the time slot 305-f to reduce the CLI between the UE 115-f and the UE 115-g. For example, the network entity 105-e may select a first subband configuration (e.g., a time slot format) including the downlink subband 310-e and the downlink subband 310-f or a second subband configuration including the uplink subband 315-c. Additionally, the network entity 105-e may send coordination information indicating the first subband configuration or the second subband configuration to the network entity 105-f. The network entity 105-f may send control signaling indicating the restriction associated with the time slot 305-h to the UE 115-g based on the coordination information. That is, the network entity 105-f may configure the UE 115-g so that SBHD is implemented between the UE 115-f and the UE 115-g in the time slot 305-f and the time slot 305-g.

[0116] For example, the network entity 105-e may send coordination information (e.g., a first subband configuration) indicating that the UE 115-f is restricted to communicating via the downlink subband 310-e and the downlink subband 310-f during the time slot 305-f, and the network entity 105-f may send a restriction indication to the UE 115-g to restrict downlink communication on the time slot 305-h (e.g., indicating the symbol set of the time slot 305-h as uplink). That is, the UE 115-g may allow scheduling on (e.g., only) the uplink subband 315-d during the time slot 305-h, where the uplink subband 315-d does not overlap with the downlink subband 310-e and the downlink subband 310-f in the frequency domain. In some cases, UE 115-e may suppress reception (e.g., cancel reception) of downlink signaling based on at least partial overlap between a set of frequency resources associated with the downlink signaling (e.g., PDCCH, PDSCH, or CSI-RS) and a set of frequency resources associated with the uplink subband 315-d (e.g., a set of symbols of time slot 305-h).

[0117] In some other cases (e.g., for scheduling flexibility), based on one or more rules associated with the restriction indication, the UE 115-g may receive (e.g., the network entity 105-f may schedule) downlink signaling (e.g., the restriction may be overridden based on the one or more rules). For example, a first rule of the one or more rules may permit the UE 115-g to receive periodic downlink signaling, semi-periodic downlink signaling, or both (e.g., regardless of overlapping resources). That is, based on whether the downlink signaling is periodic downlink signaling or semi-periodic downlink signaling, the UE 115-g may receive downlink signaling associated with a set of frequency resources that at least partially overlaps with a set of frequency resources associated with the uplink subband 315-d. Additionally or alternatively, a second rule of the one or more rules may permit the UE 115-g to receive downlink signaling associated with a defined set of signal types (e.g., a tracking reference signal (TRS)). That is, based on the downlink signaling being associated with a signal type in the defined set of signal types, UE 115-g may receive downlink signaling associated with a set of frequency resources that at least partially overlaps with a set of frequency resources associated with uplink subband 315-d.

[0118] Conversely, the network entity 105-e may send coordination information (e.g., a second subband configuration) indicating that the UE 115-f is restricted to communicating via the uplink subband 315-c during the time slot 305-f, and the network entity 105-f may send a restriction indication to the UE 115-g to restrict uplink communication on the time slot 305-h (e.g., indicating the symbol set of the time slot 305-h as downlink). That is, the UE 115-g may allow scheduling on (e.g., only) downlink subband 310-g and downlink subband 310-g during the time slot 305-h, where the downlink subband 310-g and the downlink subband 310-g do not overlap with the uplink subband 315-c in the frequency domain. In some cases, UE 115-e may refrain from sending (e.g., canceling sending) uplink signaling based on at least partial overlap between a frequency resource set associated with the uplink signaling (e.g., PUCCH, PUSCH, PRACH, or SRS) and a frequency resource set associated with downlink subband 310-g, downlink subband 310-h, or both (e.g., a set of symbols for time slot 305-h).

[0119] In some other cases (e.g., for scheduling flexibility), based on one or more rules associated with the restriction indication, the UE 115-g may send (e.g., the network entity 105-f may schedule) uplink signaling (e.g., the restriction may be overridden based on the one or more rules). For example, a third rule in the one or more rules may permit the UE 115-g to send periodic uplink signaling, semi-periodic uplink signaling, or both (e.g., regardless of overlapping resources). That is, based on whether the uplink signaling is periodic uplink signaling or semi-periodic uplink signaling, the UE 115-g may send uplink signaling associated with a frequency resource set that at least partially overlaps with a frequency resource set associated with the downlink subband 310-g, the downlink subband 310-h, or both. Additionally or alternatively, a fourth rule in the one or more rules may permit the UE 115-g to send uplink signaling associated with a defined set of signal types (e.g., semi-periodic CSI on PUCCH). That is, based on the uplink signaling being associated with a signal type in a defined set of signal types, UE 115-g may send uplink signaling associated with a frequency resource set that at least partially overlaps with a frequency resource set associated with downlink subband 310-g, downlink subband 310-h, or both.

[0120] In some examples, the restriction indication 265 may indicate a limited transmit power (e.g., a maximum transmit power), one or more restricted beams (e.g., a transmit configuration indicator (TCI) state or spatial relationship information), or both. That is, based on the limited transmit power, the restricted beams, or both, the UE 115-g may send uplink signaling associated with a set of frequency resources that at least partially overlaps with a set of frequency resources associated with the downlink subband 310-g, the downlink subband 310-h, or both. For example, the restriction indication 265 may indicate that the UE 115-g is permitted to send uplink signaling associated with a set of frequency resources that at least partially overlaps with a set of frequency resources associated with the downlink subband 310-g, the downlink subband 310-h, or both (e.g., in the time slot 305 associated with the uplink restriction) at a transmit power less than or equal to the limited transmit power. Similarly, the restriction indication 265 may indicate that UE 115-g is permitted to transmit uplink signaling associated with a set of frequency resources that at least partially overlaps with and is associated with downlink subband 310-g, downlink subband 310-h, or both (e.g., in time slot 305 associated with the uplink restriction) via a transmit beam from one or more restricted beams.

[0121] Figure 4 An example of a process flow 400 for supporting resource limitation for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations according to one or more aspects of the present disclosure is illustrated. In some examples, the process flow 400 may implement or be implemented by aspects of the wireless communication system 100, the wireless communication system 200, and the resource limitation scenario 300. For example, the process flow 400 may be implemented by a network entity 105 (e.g., network entity 105-g and network entity 105-h) or a UE 115 (e.g., UE 115-h and UE 115-j), which may be as described in reference to Figure 1 Examples of corresponding devices described. Figure 4 In some examples, the network entity 105 may be as shown in FIG. Figure 1 Examples of CU 160, DU 165, RU 170, base station 140, IAB node 104, or one or more other network nodes are described. Process flow 400 may include features for reducing CLI between UE 115 and the network, as well as other benefits.

[0122] In some cases, at 405 and 410, each network entity 105 may configure (e.g., RRC configure) one or more time slots of the corresponding UE 115 according to one or more time slot formats (e.g., SBFD time slot formats), which may also be referred to as subband configurations. For example, at 405, the network entity 105-g may send to the UE 115-h an indication of a first set of time slot formats to be applied to one or more time slots associated with communications between the UE 115-h and the network entity 105-g. Additionally, at 410, the network entity 105-h may send to the UE 115-j an indication of a second set of time slot formats to be applied to one or more time slots associated with communications between the UE 115-j and the network entity 105-h. In some cases, the network entity 105-h may send to the UE 115-j an indication of multiple time slot restriction configurations for one or more time slots associated with communications between the UE 115-j and the network entity 105-h.

[0123] In some cases, at 415, based on communications between the UE 115-h and the network entity 105-g (e.g., based on uplink traffic, downlink traffic, or both), the network entity 105-g may adapt one or more time slot formats of one or more time slots associated with communications between the UE 115-h and the network entity 105-g.

[0124] Thus, at 420, network entity 105-g may send coordination information to network entity 105-h, the coordination information indicating one or more adapted time slots associated with communications with UE 115-h, one or more adapted time slot formats, or both, wherein restrictions on one or more time slots associated with communications with the UE are based at least in part on the coordination information.

[0125] At 425, the network entity 105-h may send control signaling to the UE 115-j indicating a restriction on one or more time slots associated with communications between the UE 115-j and the network entity 105-h, wherein each of the one or more time slots is associated with one or more subbands. Additionally, the restriction may modify the availability or duplex setting of at least a portion of the one or more subbands, may be based on the coordination information, or both.

[0126] In some examples, the control signaling may indicate that the restriction applies to a first time slot of one or more time slots associated with communications between UE 115-j and network entity 105-h. Thus, UE 115-j may modify the duplex setting by restricting UE 115-j from communicating via one or more uplink subbands during the first time slot or by restricting UE 115-j from communicating via one or more downlink subbands during the first time slot.

[0127] In some examples, the control signaling may indicate a respective subband configuration associated with each of one or more time slots associated with communications between UE 115-j and network entity 105-h. Additionally, each subband configuration may indicate a subset of available frequency resources in a set of frequency resources associated with a respective time slot in one or more time slots associated with communications between UE 115-j and network entity 105-h. Thus, UE 115-j may modify availability of at least a portion of one or more subbands associated with communications between UE 115-j and network entity 105-h based on the respective subband configuration.

[0128] In some cases, the control signaling may indicate a first time slot restriction configuration of a plurality of time slot restriction configurations. Additionally or alternatively, the control signaling may be a broadcast communication indicating one or more restricted time resources, one or more restricted frequency resources, or both associated with one or more time slots.

[0129] The control signaling may include a field indicating a restriction. In some cases, the field may include a bitmap indicating the restriction. In such cases, each bit in the bitmap may be associated with a corresponding time slot in one or more time slots, and each bit in the bitmap may indicate an uplink restriction on a corresponding time slot in one or more time slots or a downlink restriction on a corresponding time slot in one or more time slots. In some other cases, the field may include one or more subfields indicating the restriction. In such cases, each subfield may indicate an uplink restriction on the corresponding time slot, a downlink restriction on the corresponding time slot, no restriction on the corresponding time slot, one or more parameters associated with a transmit power further associated with the corresponding time slot, one or more parameters associated with a transmit beam further associated with the corresponding time slot, or any combination thereof. In some cases, the field in the control signaling may indicate a pattern of one or more uplink resource restrictions for one or more time slots, a pattern of one or more downlink resource restrictions for one or more time slots, or both, wherein the restriction is based on the pattern.

[0130] In some examples, the control signaling may include respective restrictions associated with multiple UEs 115, and wherein UE 115-j determines restrictions on one or more time slots associated with communications between UE 115-j and network entity 105-h based on the location of the indication of the restrictions within the control signaling. Conversely, the control signaling may indicate restrictions that are specific to UE 115-j.

[0131] At 430, the UE 115-h may communicate with the network entity 105-g according to one or more adapted time slot formats of one or more time slots associated with communications between the UE 115-h and the network entity 105-g.

[0132] At 435, UE 115-j may communicate with network entity 105-h in accordance with the restriction via at least a subset of one or more subbands of one or more time slots associated with communication between UE 115-j and network entity 105-h.

[0133] In some cases, UE 115-j may cancel receiving downlink signaling via one or more downlink subbands based on an overlap between a first set of resources associated with the downlink signaling and a second set of resources associated with the one or more downlink subbands. Additionally or alternatively, UE 115-j may cancel sending uplink signaling via one or more uplink subbands based on an overlap between a first set of resources associated with the uplink signaling and a second set of resources associated with the one or more uplink subbands. In some examples, downlink signaling, uplink signaling, or both may be associated with semi-periodic scheduling, periodic scheduling, or both.

[0134] In some cases, UE 115-j may receive downlink signaling via one or more downlink subbands according to one or more rules associated with the restriction, wherein the downlink signaling is associated with a first set of resources that partially overlaps with a second set of resources associated with the one or more downlink subbands. For example, the one or more rules may include a first rule that permits UE 115-j to receive periodic downlink signals, semi-periodic downlink signals, or both via the one or more restricted downlink subbands, a second rule that permits UE 115-j to receive signaling associated with a defined set of signal types via the one or more restricted downlink subbands, or a combination thereof.

[0135] Additionally or alternatively, UE 115-j may send uplink signaling via one or more uplink subbands according to one or more rules associated with the restriction, wherein the uplink signaling is associated with a third set of resources that partially overlaps with a fourth set of resources associated with the one or more uplink subbands. For example, the one or more rules may include a third rule that permits UE 115-j to send periodic uplink signals, semi-periodic uplink signals, or both via one or more uplink restricted subbands, a fifth rule that permits UE 115-j to send signaling associated with a defined set of signal types via one or more uplink restricted subbands, or a combination thereof.

[0136] In some examples, UE 115-j may transmit or receive one or more transmissions to or from network entity 105-h based on the one or more transmissions being associated with a set of frequency resources within the subset of available frequency resources associated with the subband configuration indicated via control signaling. Conversely, UE 115-j may cancel transmission or reception of one or more transmissions associated with a set of frequency resources that at least partially falls outside of the subset of available frequency resources.

[0137] Additionally or alternatively, UE 115-j may send uplink signaling via at least a subset of one or more time slots (e.g., via uplink restricted time slots) based on one or more parameters associated with transmit power, one or more parameters associated with a transmit beam, or both.

[0138] In some examples, UE 115-j may modify the availability or duplex setting of at least a portion of one or more subbands based on a time threshold. The time threshold may be associated with a first number of time slots that is greater than or equal to a second number of time slots associated with a monitoring periodicity for control signaling. Additionally or alternatively, the time threshold may be associated with a third number of time slots in the one or more time slots that follows a first time slot that includes feedback information associated with the control signaling, wherein the third number of time slots is based on a fourth number of time slots in a subframe associated with communications between UE 115-j and network entity 105-h.

In some examples, the processor and a memory coupled to the processor may be configured to perform one or more of the functions described herein (e.g., by executing instructions stored in the memory by the processor).

[0144] Additionally or alternatively, in some examples, the communication manager 520, the receiver 510, the transmitter 515, or various combinations or components thereof may be implemented in code executed by a processor (e.g., as communication management software or firmware). If implemented in code executed by a processor, the functionality of the communication manager 520, the receiver 510, the transmitter 515, or various combinations or components thereof may be performed by a general purpose processor (e.g., configured as or otherwise supporting components for performing the functions described in the present disclosure), a DSP, a CPU, an ASIC, an FPGA, a microcontroller, or any combination of these or other programmable logic devices.

[0145] In some examples, communication manager 520 may be configured to perform various operations (e.g., receive, obtain, monitor, output, send) using or otherwise cooperating with receiver 510, transmitter 515, or both. For example, communication manager 520 may receive information from receiver 510, transmit information to transmitter 515, or be integrated in conjunction with receiver 510, transmitter 515, or both to obtain information, output information, or perform various other operations as described herein.

[0146] According to examples as disclosed herein, the communication manager 520 may support wireless communications at the UE. For example, the communication manager 520 may be configured to or otherwise support components for receiving control signaling indicating a restriction on one or more time slots associated with communications between the UE and a network entity, wherein each of the one or more time slots is associated with one or more subbands, and the restriction modifies the availability or duplex setting of at least a portion of the one or more subbands. The communication manager 520 may be configured to or otherwise support components for communicating with the network entity via at least a subset of the one or more subbands of the one or more time slots in accordance with the restriction.

[0148] Figure 6 A block diagram 600 of a device 605 supporting resource restrictions for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations according to one or more aspects of the present disclosure is shown. The device 605 may be an example of aspects of the device 505 or UE 115 as described herein. The device 605 may include a receiver 610, a transmitter 615, and a communication manager 620. The device 605 may also include a processor. Each of these components may communicate with each other (e.g., via one or more buses).

[0149] The receiver 610 may provide means for receiving information (such as packets, user data, control information, or any combination thereof) associated with various information channels (e.g., control channels, data channels, information channels related to resource restrictions for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations). The information may be communicated to other components of the device 605. The receiver 610 may utilize a single antenna or a set of multiple antennas.

[0150] The transmitter 615 may provide means for transmitting signals generated by other components of the device 605. For example, the transmitter 615 may transmit information (such as packets, user data, control information, or any combination thereof) associated with various information channels (e.g., control channels, data channels, information channels related to resource restrictions for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations). In some examples, the transmitter 615 may be co-located with the receiver 610 in a transceiver module. The transmitter 615 may utilize a single antenna or a set of multiple antennas.

[0151] Device 605 or its various components may be examples of components for performing various aspects of resource restriction for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations as described herein. For example, communication manager 620 may include restriction component 625, subband component 630, or any combination thereof. Communication manager 620 may be an example of various aspects of communication manager 520 as described herein. In some examples, communication manager 620 or its various components may be configured to perform various operations (e.g., receive, obtain, monitor, output, send) using or otherwise cooperating with receiver 610, transmitter 615, or both. For example, communication manager 620 may receive information from receiver 610, transmit information to transmitter 615, or integrate with receiver 610, transmitter 615, or both in combination to obtain information, output information, or perform various other operations as described herein.

[0152] According to examples as disclosed herein, the communication manager 620 may support wireless communications at the UE. The restriction component 625 may be configured to or otherwise support means for receiving control signaling indicating a restriction on one or more time slots associated with communications between the UE and a network entity, wherein each of the one or more time slots is associated with one or more subbands, and the restriction modifies an availability or duplex setting of at least a portion of the one or more subbands. The subband component 630 may be configured to or otherwise support means for communicating with the network entity via at least a subset of the one or more subbands of the one or more time slots in accordance with the restriction.

[0153] Figure 7A block diagram 700 of a communication manager 720 supporting resource restriction for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations according to one or more aspects of the present disclosure is shown. The communication manager 720 may be an example of aspects of the communication manager 520, the communication manager 620, or both as described herein. The communication manager 720 or its various components may be examples of components for performing various aspects of resource restriction for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations as described herein. For example, the communication manager 720 may include a restriction component 725, a subband component 730, a configuration component 735, a rule component 740, or any combination thereof. Each of these components may communicate with each other directly or indirectly (e.g., via one or more buses).

[0154] According to examples as disclosed herein, the communication manager 720 may support wireless communications at the UE. The restriction component 725 may be configured to or otherwise support means for receiving control signaling indicating a restriction on one or more time slots associated with communications between the UE and a network entity, wherein each of the one or more time slots is associated with one or more subbands, and the restriction modifies an availability or duplex setting of at least a portion of the one or more subbands. The subband component 730 may be configured to or otherwise support means for communicating with the network entity via at least a subset of the one or more subbands of the one or more time slots in accordance with the restriction.

[0155] In some examples, to support receiving control signaling, restriction component 725 may be configured as or otherwise support components for receiving an indication that a restriction applies to a first time slot of one or more time slots, wherein modifying the duplex setting includes restricting the UE from communicating via one or more uplink subbands during the first time slot or restricting the UE from communicating via one or more downlink subbands during the first time slot.

[0156] In some examples, to support communication with a network entity based on limiting at least a subset of one or more subbands of one or more time slots, the restriction component 725 may be configured as or otherwise support components for canceling the receipt of downlink signaling via one or more downlink subbands based on an overlap between a first set of resources associated with the downlink signaling and a second set of resources associated with the one or more downlink subbands.

[0157] In some examples, downlink signaling is associated with periodic signaling or semi-periodic signaling.

[0158] In some examples, to support communication with a network entity via at least a subset of one or more subbands of one or more time slots in accordance with limiting, limiting component 725 can be configured to or otherwise support means for canceling transmission of uplink signaling via one or more uplink subbands based on an overlap between a first set of resources associated with the uplink signaling and a second set of resources associated with the one or more uplink subbands. In some examples, the uplink signaling is associated with periodic signaling or semi-periodic signaling.

[0159] In some examples, to support communication with a network entity via at least a subset of one or more subbands of one or more time slots in accordance with a restriction, rule component 740 may be configured to or otherwise support components for receiving downlink signaling via one or more downlink subbands in accordance with one or more rules associated with the restriction, wherein the downlink signaling is associated with a first set of resources that partially overlaps with a second set of resources associated with the one or more downlink subbands.

[0160] In some examples, one or more rules may include a first rule permitting the UE to receive periodic downlink signals, semi-periodic downlink signals, or both via one or more restricted downlink sub-bands, a second rule permitting the UE to receive signaling associated with a defined set of signal types via one or more restricted downlink sub-bands, or a combination thereof.

[0161] In some examples, to support communication with a network entity via at least a subset of one or more subbands of one or more time slots in accordance with a restriction, rule component 740 may be configured to or otherwise support components for sending uplink signaling via one or more uplink subbands in accordance with one or more rules associated with the restriction, and wherein the uplink signaling is associated with a first set of resources that partially overlaps with a second set of resources associated with the one or more uplink subbands.

[0162] In some examples, one or more rules include a first rule permitting the UE to send periodic uplink signals, semi-periodic uplink signals, or both via one or more uplink restricted sub-bands, a fourth rule permitting the UE to send signaling associated with a defined set of signal types via one or more uplink restricted sub-bands, or a combination thereof.

[0163] In some examples, to support receiving control signaling indicating a restriction, configuration component 735 may be configured as or otherwise support means for receiving an indication of a respective subband configuration associated with each of one or more time slots, wherein modifying the availability of at least a portion of the one or more subbands is based on the respective subband configuration.

[0164] In some examples, to support communications with a network entity, restriction component 725 may be configured as or otherwise support components for sending or receiving one or more transmissions to or from a network entity based on the one or more transmissions being associated with a set of frequency resources within a subset of available frequency resources.

[0165] In some examples, to support communication with a network entity, restriction component 725 may be configured or otherwise support means for canceling transmission or reception of one or more transmissions associated with a set of frequency resources that at least partially falls outside of a subset of available frequency resources.

[0166] In some examples, configuration component 735 may be configured as or otherwise support components for receiving a second control signaling indicating a set of multiple time slot restriction configurations for one or more time slots associated with communications between a UE and a network entity, wherein the control signaling indicating the restriction on the one or more time slots includes an indication of a first time slot restriction configuration in the set of multiple time slot restriction configurations.

[0167] In some examples, to support receiving control signaling indicating a restriction, restriction component 725 may be configured as or otherwise support components for receiving broadcast communications indicating one or more restricted time resources, one or more restricted frequency resources, or both associated with one or more time slots, wherein communication with a network entity is based on the one or more restricted time resources, one or more restricted frequency resources, or both.

[0168] In some examples, to support receiving control signaling indicating a restriction, the restriction component 725 may be configured as or otherwise support means for receiving a bitmap via a field indicating a restriction, wherein each bit in the bitmap is associated with a corresponding time slot in one or more time slots, and wherein each bit in the bitmap indicates an uplink restriction on a corresponding time slot in the one or more time slots or a downlink restriction on a corresponding time slot in the one or more time slots.

[0169] In some examples, to support receiving control signaling indicating a restriction, the restriction component 725 may be configured as or otherwise support components for receiving indications of one or more subfields of a field indicating a restriction, wherein each subfield is associated with a corresponding time slot of one or more time slots, and wherein each subfield indicates an uplink restriction on the corresponding time slot, a downlink restriction on the corresponding time slot, no restriction on the corresponding time slot, one or more parameters associated with a transmit power further associated with the corresponding time slot, one or more parameters associated with a transmit beam further associated with the corresponding time slot, or any combination thereof.

[0170] In some examples, to support communication with a network entity via at least a subset of one or more subbands of one or more time slots based on restrictions, the subband component 730 may be configured as or otherwise support components for transmitting uplink signaling via at least a subset of one or more time slots based on one or more parameters associated with transmit power, one or more parameters associated with a transmit beam, or both.

[0171] In some examples, the control signaling includes respective restrictions associated with a set of multiple UEs. In some examples, the UE determines restrictions on one or more time slots associated with communications between the UE and the network entity based on the location of the indication of the restrictions within the control signaling.

[0172] In some examples, to support receiving control signaling indicating restrictions, restriction component 725 may be configured as or otherwise support components for receiving indications of a pattern of one or more uplink resource restrictions for one or more time slots, one or more downlink resource restrictions for one or more time slots, or both, wherein the restrictions are based on the pattern and wherein the control signaling includes a field indicating the pattern.

[0173] In some examples, modifying the availability or duplex setting of at least a portion of the one or more subbands is based on a time threshold. In some examples, the time threshold is associated with a first number of time slots that is greater than or equal to a second number of time slots associated with a monitoring periodicity for control signaling, or the time threshold is associated with a third number of time slots after a first time slot of the one or more time slots that includes feedback information associated with the control signaling. In some examples, the third number of time slots is based on a fourth number of time slots in a subframe associated with communication between the UE and the network entity.

[0174] Figure 8 A diagram of a system 800 including a device 805 that supports resource restrictions for SBFD and dynamic TDD operations according to one or more aspects of the present disclosure is shown. The device 805 may be an example of a device 505, a device 605, or a UE 115 as described herein, or include components of these devices. The device 805 may communicate (e.g., wirelessly) with one or more network entities 105, one or more UEs 115, or any combination thereof. The device 805 may include components for two-way voice and data communications, including components for sending and receiving communications, such as a communication manager 820, an input / output (I / O) controller 810, a transceiver 815, an antenna 825, a memory 830, a code 835, and a processor 840. These components may be electronically communicated or otherwise coupled (e.g., operatively, communicatively, functionally, electronically, electrically) via one or more buses (e.g., a bus 845).

[0175] I / O controller 810 can manage input and output signals of device 805. I / O controller 810 can also manage peripheral devices that are not integrated into device 805. In some cases, I / O controller 810 can represent a physical connection or port to an external peripheral device. In some cases, I / O controller 810 can utilize an operating system such as or another known operating system. Additionally or alternatively, I / O controller 810 may represent or interact with a modem, keyboard, mouse, touch screen, or similar device. In some cases, I / O controller 810 may be implemented as part of a processor such as processor 840.
