Various solutions are described for scheduling request (SR) enhancements for devices in mobile communications. A device can receive an SR configuration from a network node. The SR configuration can indicate a first SR transmission assignment and a second SR transmission assignment that is different than the first SR transmission assignment. The device can transmit an SR to the network node based on at least one of the first SR transmission assignment and the second SR transmission assignment.
