A ptpx multi-scene power consumption analysis automation method and system

Abstract

This application provides an automated method and system for multi-scenario power consumption analysis using PTPX, comprising: storing all paths of simulation waveform files of different formats to be analyzed in a list; traversing the list and extracting scenario identifiers from the paths of the simulation waveform files to be analyzed; matching the corresponding power consumption analysis time window, process corner library file, and parasitic parameter file for the scenario identifier from a configuration file; obtaining the extension of the simulation waveform file to be analyzed from the path of the simulation waveform file to be analyzed, selecting a command corresponding to the extension from PTPX to load the simulation waveform file to be analyzed; analyzing the power consumption of the chip at different process corners corresponding to the scenario identifier, and generating a report and log file with the power consumption scenario identifier. This application can support an automated power consumption analysis method with automatic configuration and batch execution for multiple scenarios and multiple process corners, thereby improving analysis efficiency and reducing the risk of manual intervention.
