Abstract

A battery modeling apparatus according to an embodiment disclosed herein includes: an information acquisition unit configured to acquire battery information, the battery information including an image of a battery cell and information about the number of multiple tabs included in the battery cell; an edge information generation unit configured to generate edge information based on the image of the battery cell; and a controller configured to extract pixels on the image corresponding to the multiple tabs based on the edge information and the battery information, and to model the multiple tabs of the battery cell based on the pixels.
