A head fixation mechanism for bronchoscopy

Abstract

This utility model belongs to the field of medical device technology, and particularly relates to a head fixation mechanism for bronchoscopy. Addressing the problem that most existing bronchoscopy head fixation devices only provide a single supine support function, making it difficult to easily switch between supine and lateral positions on the same device, the following solution is proposed: A headrest shell and a headrest base are provided. The headrest base is equipped with a supine headrest and lateral headrests located on either side of it. A headrest groove is formed in the center of the top surface of the headrest shell. One of the supine or lateral headrests is positioned directly below the headrest groove. Temporal fixation clips and forehead fixation straps are provided on the top surface of the headrest shell on either side of the headrest groove. This mechanism allows switching between supine and lateral positions by sliding the headrest base. Combined with disposable sterile pads, it achieves one-person-one-change isolation protection, balancing positional accuracy, head fixation stability, and infection control safety.
