The protected portion of the graphical user interface is used for the reserved information display area. The graphical user interface includes an information display area in the middle of the interface and a map display area in the upper right corner of the interface. By selecting a transportation route, the graphical user interface changes from the main view to state 1, highlighting the selected route in the information display area, while the map display area locates the selected transportation address. By expanding the hotel room information, the graphical user interface changes from state 1 to state 2, and the map display area locates the hotel address. By selecting a room type, the graphical user interface changes from state 2 to state 3, highlighting the selected room type in the information display area, while the map display area shows the hotel location and related routes. By clicking "Trip Panorama" in the upper left corner of the map display area, the graphical user interface changes from state 3 to state 4, and the map display area shows a panoramic view of the route. 6.
