Description

The invention relates to a fireplace with open flames, which comprises the features according to the main claim and is suitable for use in a privately or commercially used building. Such a fireplace for use in a building is referred to herein as an indoor fireplace or in-house fireplace. Such indoor fireplaces are typically installed in a wall niche or in a frame in front of a wall, enclosed by a housing. The open fire is often a wood fire. However, the disadvantage of a wood fire is the danger posed to the surrounding area and people present by sparks and smoke.
