Abstract

The connector provided comprises: a connector housing (2) with a cylindrical fitting section (7) that opens and projects in a tubular shape in a direction of fit against a mating connector; an inner housing (4) with connection retaining elements (12) fitted into the cylindrical fitting section (7) in such a way that they are received inside the connector housing (2); a connector terminal (5) held by the connection retaining elements (12); and a wire cable (6) having one end connected to the connector terminal (5) and the other end extending through a hole section (8a) in the connector housing (2) to the outside of the connector housing (2). The connector housing (2) includes a guide section (19) that regulates the positions of the connection retaining elements (12) relative to the cylindrical fitting section (7) in a direction in which the connection retaining elements (12) are fitted into the cylindrical fitting section (7).
