Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a soap rack comprising a base body with a substantially horizontally extending soap support surface, wherein the base body has cork, in particular is made of pressed cork.Soap shells made of cork are known in the prior art. They comprise a base body with a substantially horizontally extending soap support surface on which a piece of soap can be deposited. One of the main surfaces of the normally substantially cuboidal or cylindrically shaped soap is positioned on the soap support surface. One problem is that the main soap surface with which a wet soap rests on the soap support surface dries only very poorly and correspondingly slowly. This is unpleasant for the next user of the soap on the one hand because of the glibbery haptics. On the other hand, a soap wears away comparatively quickly if it is used again starting from a still moist and thus slightly soft state on the surface.Starting from this prior art, it is an object of the present invention to provide a soap builder of alternative construction. To achieve this object, the present invention provides a soap rack comprising a base body having a soap support surface extending substantially horizontally, wherein the base body has cork, in particular is produced from pressed cork, characterized in that the base body has at least one support wall protruding upwards from the soap support surface. Such a support wall opens up the possibility of positioning a piece of soap tilted on the soap support surface and resting against the at least one support wall, which in each case entails point or line contact between soap and support surface and between soap and support wall. Accordingly, air can easily reach almost the entire soap surface, which is very favourable to a rapid drying of the soap after use.Advantageously, the base body has at least one further supporting wall, wherein two adjacent supporting walls together with the soap support surface each form a soap receiving compartment. Accordingly, a soap can beanned to both support walls, thereby preventing accidental slipping of the soap on the soap-bearing surface. The soap support surface is preferably provided with at least one outlet depression and / or at least one ventilation opening. Accordingly, accumulation of liquid on the soap seating surface is prevented and a quick drying operation is promoted.According to one embodiment of the present invention, the at least one outlet depression and / or the ventilation opening is of elongate design and extends in particular in a straight line, whereby a simple and economically produced structure is achieved. The at least one support wall, preferably each support wall, is preferably provided with at least one ventilation aperture which opens in particular into at least one outlet depression and / or ventilation opening provided in the soap support surface. Such ventilation openings promote air circulation within the receiving compartment or compartments, which is likewise conducive to rapid drying. The ventilation apertures are preferably of elongate design and extend in particular in a straight line, which leads to a simple and cost-effective construction to be produced.Preferably, the support walls extend parallel to each other.According to one embodiment of the present invention, the minimum distance between at least two adjacently arranged support walls, in particular between all the adjacent support walls, is at least 3 cm.The maximum distance between at least two adjacently arranged support walls, in particular between all adjacent support walls, is preferably at most 6 cm, in particular at most 5 cm.The height of the at least one support wall, in particular the height of all support walls with which they project beyond the soap support surface, is preferably at least 3 cm, in particular at least 4 cm.The aforementioned dimensions of the support walls and the spacing between the support walls have proved to be particularly suitable with regard to the dimensions of many commercial soaps.According to one embodiment of the present invention, the height of the support walls is uniform.According to a variant of the present invention, at least three support walls are provided, wherein the height of the support walls is non-uniform and decreases in particular from the center of the base body outwards in the direction of the outer support walls. Larger soaps can be positioned accordingly in the middle soap receiving compartment, smaller soaps in the outer soap receiving compartments.Preferably, a rear wall is provided which extends transversely, in particular perpendicularly to the support walls and projects upwards with respect to the soap support surface and preferably connects the support walls to one another. Such a rear wall gives the base body additional stability and prevents direct contact between soaps positioned in the soap rack and the shower wall.According to one embodiment of the present invention, the base body has a plate-like base element, from the top side of which the at least one supporting wall projects, wherein the soap support surface is preferably arranged above the top side of the base element. The soap rack advantageously comprises a cover which has cork and is produced in particular from pressed cork and is designed in such a way that, in a state in which it is placed on the base body, it forms a closed container together with the base body. Accordingly, a soap arranged in the soap setter can be transported well when the cover is closed. The soap stand preferably has a suspension device which is designed such that the base body can be suspended on a shower door, a shower wall or on a shower curtain rod. The soap rack can thus be positioned in a simple and space-saving manner, in particular in the region of a shower. The suspension device advantageously has one or more cords. The base body is preferably provided on its underside with at least one cord receiving depression, in which a cord of the suspension device engages, in order to ensure secure retention. The suspension device advantageously comprises at least one counterweight, which preferably has cork, in particular is produced from pressed cork, wherein the counterweight is preferably provided on its outer circumference with a line receiving recess, which is in particular formed peripherally. Thanks to such a counterweight, the soap stand can be arranged, for example, on a shower wall or a shower door by the at least one cord being placed over the wall or the door in such a way that the base body is arranged on one side and the counterweight is arranged on the other side of the wall or door.Advantageously, the at least one counterweight can be provided with a mirror and / or a decoration, for example in the form of a mosaic of ceramic parts or the like.According to one embodiment of the present invention, the base body is provided on its underside with protruding feet.Further advantages and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following description with reference to the accompanying drawings.
