Description

[0001] The invention relates to a game gallows for hanging an animal carcass, in particular for butchering hunted game, according to the preamble of claim 1. The game gallows comprises a frame on which a fastening device for suspending the frame from a fastening receptacle and at least two holding devices are formed, which are provided for suspending an animal carcass from the frame, for example via two legs of the animal carcass. The two holding devices are each designed to receive at least one hookable fastening means, such as in particular a butcher's hook. Furthermore, the holding devices are displaceable or slidable relative to one another along a cross member of the frame to adapt to the respective size of the animal carcass to be suspended.

[0002] DE 20 2018 107 121 U1 describes such a game gallows, which has a crossbeam on which two attachment points for butcher hooks are slidably mounted. A spreading mechanism is mounted on the crossbeam between the two attachment points, which pre-tensions the two attachment points away from each other when the game gallows is hung, whereby they are displaced away from each other in a guide of the crossbeam.

[0003] A disadvantage of the conventional game hanger is that it is relatively large and heavy, particularly due to the required longitudinal extension of the crossbeam. This is especially true if the game hanger is also designed to hang relatively large animal carcasses. A game hanger designed for such applications is therefore usually cumbersome to transport and handle.

[0004] The object of the invention is to provide a game gallows that can be transported and handled relatively easily and comfortably, even when designed for large animal carcasses.

[0005] This object is achieved by a game gallows according to claim 1. The holding devices are adjustable and positionable between a transport position in which they have a minimal distance from one another, and a fastening end position in which the holding devices have a maximum distance from one another and project beyond a longitudinal extent of the cross member. In this way, the holding devices can also be displaced beyond the longitudinal extent of the cross member if necessary in order to be able to adapt the game gallows to the size of an animal carcass to be suspended. As a result, the cross member can have a significantly smaller longitudinal extent than the prior art, with the same adjustable maximum distance between the holding devices, which in turn enables significantly smaller external dimensions of the game gallows in the transport position. When stored or transported, the game hanger can be folded into a particularly compact transport position and is also relatively lightweight. This makes the game hanger particularly comfortable and easy to handle during storage, transport, and hanging of a carcass.

[0006] It is particularly advantageous if the support devices, which can be displaced beyond the longitudinal extent of the cross member, are arranged completely within the extent of the cross member in the transport position, whereby the game gallows can have particularly small external dimensions in the transport position.

[0007] Advantageously, the holding devices form a plurality of hooking positions. In this way, a butcher's hook or any other hookable fastening means for hanging an animal carcass, in particular over its legs, can be attached to both holding devices in a plurality of positions in order to be able to set a preferred distance between the fastening means.

[0008] It is particularly advantageous if the hooking positions of the two mounting devices are each formed by a row of teeth. This allows the mounting devices to be manufactured relatively easily and cost-effectively with a large number of hooking positions.

[0009] In a preferred embodiment, the mounting devices are movable between the transport position and the final fastening position and can be fixed relative to the crossbeam by means of a fixing arrangement in one of several adjustable fastening positions. This allows the mounting devices to be fixed in several additional fastening positions between the transport position and the final fastening position, in order to adapt the game hanger particularly well to different sizes of the animal carcasses to be hung.

[0010] It is advantageous if the fixing arrangement has several locking receptacles, preferably arranged in a row, in which a locking bolt attached to the cross member can be accommodated. This provides an easily adjustable and stable fixing arrangement.

[0011] Advantageously, the mounting devices are each formed by a mounting component on which the locking receptacle, the row of teeth, and a first guide slot are aligned parallel to one another. In this way, the adjustable game gallows can be manufactured from a small number of components, which, in particular, enables minimal assembly effort during its manufacture.

[0012] It is particularly advantageous if the mounting components are mounted on the crossbeam in a movable manner. This allows the desired distance between the mounting devices to be adjusted particularly easily and reliably.

[0013] Furthermore, it is advantageous if the fastening device has at least two, preferably three, fastening eyes in order to be able to fasten the frame particularly easily and in different ways to an available fastening receptacle, such as a tree, a fence or a frame.

[0014] Preferably, the entire game gallows is also made of stainless steel to ensure sufficient stability and enable easy cleaning.

[0015] It is pointed out that all features of the subject matter according to the invention described above are interchangeable or combinable with one another, unless an exchange or combination thereof is excluded for technical reasons.

[0016] The figures illustrate an exemplary embodiment of the invention. They show: Fig. 1 a view of a game gallows according to the invention with an animal body attached thereto and in a suspended state, Fig. 2 a view of the game gallows according to Fig. 1 in a fastening end position and Fig. 3 a view of the game gallows according to Fig. 1 in a transport position.

[0017] Fig. 1 shows a game hanger 2, which serves for hanging an animal carcass 4, such as a hunted animal, in order to be able to butcher it, for example, after a hunt. The game hanger 2 has a frame 6, which can be suspended via a fastening device 8 from an available fastening receptacle 10, which is formed, for example, by a tree. The fastening device 8 is formed for this purpose, for example, by three eyelets of the frame 6, of which either the middle one alone or the two outer ones together can be fastened to the fastening receptacle 10 via a rope S and / or a hook or snap hook H.

[0018] In addition, at least two movable mounting devices 12 are provided on the frame 6, onto which fastening means 14 can be hooked, which are connected, for example, to the legs 16 of the animal carcass. The fastening means 14 are, for example, formed by butcher's hooks. Alternatively, the hookable fastening means 14 can also be designed in any other known and suitable form, such as a loop or a fastening rope with an attached hook.

[0019] The mounting devices 12 are in any case formed on at least two mounting components 18, which are displaceably mounted on a cross member 20 formed by the frame 6. As shown, the mounting devices 12 can also have a plurality of hooking positions 22, which are formed, for example, by a row of teeth 24 of the mounting component 18.

[0020] As can be seen in particular from the Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the mounting components 18 are designed as molded parts which, in addition to the respective mounting device 12, each additionally have a first guide slot 26, into which a first guide cam 28 of the frame 6 engages. At the same time, the frame 6 has two second guide slots 30, into which a second guide cam 32 engages, which protrudes from the respectively associated mounting component 18. In this way, both mounting devices 12 can be displaced or slid on the frame 6 along a displacement direction R.

[0021] Furthermore, a fixing arrangement 34 is provided between each of the two support components 18 and the cross member 20 or the frame 6, by means of which the respective support component 18 can be fixed in one of several adjustable fastening positions relative to the cross member 20. For this purpose, the fixing arrangements 34 on the support components 18 each have a row of several locking receptacles 36, with which a locking bolt 38 held on the cross member 20 can be releasably engaged. For this purpose, the locking bolt 38 can be preloaded by a spring device (not shown) into a locking position in which it engages with one of the locking receptacles 36.By manually pressing a release button 40, the locking bolt 38 can be moved into a release position in which the locking bolt 38 is disengaged from the locking receptacles 36, so that the support components 18 can be moved along the displacement direction R.

[0022] The Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show the game gallows 2 in a final fastening position, in which the mounting components 18 are displaced away from each other along the displacement direction R up to an end stop and are fixed relative to the frame 6 by the fixing arrangement 34. In this final fastening position, the mounting devices 12 protrude parallel to the displacement direction R at least partially beyond a longitudinal extent E of the cross member 20. In this way, the game gallows 2 can be extended beyond the longitudinal extent E of the cross member 20 in order to adapt it to a relatively large animal carcass 4 to be suspended.

[0023] Fig. 3, on the other hand, shows the game gallows 2 in a transport position in which the support components 18 are spaced minimally apart from one another and are also fixed relative to the frame 6 by the fixing arrangement 34. As shown, the hooking positions 22 formed by the row of teeth 24 or the corresponding support devices 12 are arranged entirely within the longitudinal extension E of the cross member 20.

[0024] As in Fig. 3 further shown by dash-dotted lines, the holding devices 12 can additionally also have a projecting section 42 in which, for example, an additional hooking receptacle 44 in the form of a fastening eyelet is formed and which permanently projects beyond the longitudinal extent E of the cross member 20.

[0025] In any case, the support components 18 are between the Fig. 2 shown fastening end position and the one in Fig. 3, can be fixed in several fastening positions, which are defined by the respective row of locking receptacles 36. In the two molded parts forming the holding components 18, the first guide slot 26, the respective row of locking receptacles 36 and the row of teeth 24 are formed parallel to one another and with respect to the displacement direction R.

[0026] In this way, the game gallows 2 can be used to hang an animal carcass 4, in particular starting from the transport position according to Fig. 3, in which it has the smallest external dimensions, by actuating the release buttons 40 and moving the holding components 18 along the direction of displacement R into a fastening position in which the holding devices 12 have a desired distance from one another, which is adapted to the size of the animal carcass 4 to be suspended.

[0027] After using the game gallows 2 to hang an animal carcass 4 according to Fig. 1, the support components 18 can be moved from the illustrated fastening end position or another fastening position by actuating the release buttons 40 and moving the support components 18 along the displacement direction R back into the transport position, in which the game gallows 2 has the smallest external dimensions and can therefore be transported and stored particularly easily.

[0028] Advantageously, the Wildgalgen 2 is also made entirely of stainless steel to ensure sufficient stability and to enable thorough and quick cleaning after use.

[0029] It is pointed out that all features of the subject matter according to the invention described above are interchangeable or combinable with one another, unless an exchange or combination thereof is excluded for technical reasons. QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE DESCRIPTION
