Abstract
Description
1. Title of the invention: Writing instrument with integrated mini perfume atomizer. 2. Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of writing instruments (ballpoint pens, fountain pens, felt-tip pens or gel pens) with an integrated additional function for liquid dispensing. More precisely, it relates to a hybrid instrument that combines a system for storing and atomizing miniature perfume, which is ergonomically and safely integrated into the object's body. 3. State of the art
[0002] Simple writing instruments with integrated ink reservoirs already exist on the market. However, these devices have significant disadvantages, which the present invention attempts to overcome. • Lack of safety: Existing systems often allow accidental spraying if the pen is carried in a pocket or bag. • Premature evaporation: The volatile nature of perfumes (alcohol) leads to rapid liquid loss if there is no reinforced seal when the product is at rest. • Complex refilling: Most models are disposable or require complete disassembly, which carries the risk of damaging the writing mechanism. 4. Technical problem to be solved
[0003] The problem that the present invention purports to solve is the construction of a “2-in-1” writing instrument that ensures the following: • Complete protection against accidental activation of the atomizer. • A hermetic seal to preserve the fragrance long-term. • Smooth ergonomics that allow switching from writing function to perfume function through simple and intuitive handling. 5. Proposed technical solution
[0004] To solve these problems, the invention proposes an instrument consisting of two separate bodies whose functions are mechanically coupled via a helical control cam. The unlocking of the perfume pump is physically linked to the extension of the writing tip. This architecture makes it possible to use the rotary motion required for writing as a "safety key" for the atomizer. 6. Advantages of the invention • Increased safety: It is impossible to perfume oneself (or soil one's clothes) as long as the pen is not in the "ready to write" position. • Sustainability: An infinitely refillable system that reduces plastic waste. • Preservation of quality: Maintaining the olfactory properties of the perfume through enhanced insulation. • Compactness: Integration of a reservoir of up to 20 ml without compromising the aesthetics of the instrument. DESCRIPTION
[0005] The present invention relates to the field of precision writing instruments with an integrated cosmetic function. In particular, it relates to a writing instrument equipped with a secure and refillable atomizing device for liquids (perfume). Detailed description of the invention
[0006] The instrument consists of a tubular body which is divided into two main sections: an upper part (1) which serves as a casing for the cosmetic function, and a lower part (2) or shaft which is dedicated to the writing function. 1. Architecture of the atomization system (FIG. 1)
[0007] The upper part (1) houses a miniature atomization system, comprising: • An internal reservoir (3): With a capacity between 5 ml and 20 ml. According to the invention, this reservoir can be made of inert materials such as glass (soda-lime glass, borosilicate glass), technical polymers (PET, PMMA) or metals (aluminium, stainless steel, precious metals). • A micropump (4): Attached to the top of the reservoir and connected to an ejection nozzle. • A spray opening (6): Arranged laterally in the wall of the upper part (1), preferably opposite the fastening clip (10) for optimal ergonomics. • A release element (5): In the form of a push button located at the axial end of the body. 2. Safety mechanism with helical control cam (7)
[0008] The originality of the invention lies in the mechanical coupling of the two functions (writing and perfuming). An internal helical control cam (11) couples the movement of the lower part in relation to the upper part: • Working position: A rotation of the body (for example, to the right) simultaneously extends the writing tip (8) (ballpoint, spring, felt, or gel tip) and mechanically unlocks the micropump. The pump pin aligns itself with a slot in the control cam, which allows the push button (5) to be pressed. • Resting position: A reverse turn (to the left) retracts the tip and places a rigid stop under the pump mechanism, making any accidental atomization impossible. 3. Sealing and thermal insulation
[0009] The invention comprises a conical seat seal (or a high-performance O-ring) that interacts with the atomizer unit. This seal performs two functions: • Preventing liquid leakage due to pressure fluctuations (air transport) or temperature fluctuations. • Hermetic isolation of the alcoholic phase of the perfume to prevent premature evaporation when the instrument is at rest. 4. Simplified refill system (FIG. 2) • The reservoir (a) is designed so that it can be refilled without disassembling the atomizing device. The bottom of the reservoir has a one-way filling valve (b). • The process consists of placing the base of the instrument onto the exposed pin of an external reservoir vial. • Vertical pressure transfers the liquid directly from the storage vial (c) into the internal reservoir through pumping action or pressure difference, guaranteeing clean and fast refilling. 5. Variants and ergonomic options
[0010] The upper part can optionally integrate a translucent viewing window for level monitoring. Furthermore, the fastening clip (10) can be configured in one variant to serve as a radial actuating lever, either in addition to or replacing the axial push button (5). [0011] Writing instrument with integrated atomizing device for cosmetic liquids.
[0012] The invention relates to a writing instrument with an integrated perfume atomizer, comprising a top part equipped with an internal reservoir, a micropump, and a lateral outlet. The invention is characterized by a helical curve mechanism that extends the writing tip and simultaneously unlocks the activation of the micropump only in the working position, thereby preventing accidental atomization in the resting position.
[0013] The device can include a mounting clip that acts as a radial operating lever, as well as a viewing window for monitoring the liquid level. The reservoir can be refilled via a one-way valve without disassembly. A conical-seat sealing system ensures the hermetic isolation of the liquid when at rest, preventing evaporation of the alcoholic phase. This instrument enables a safe and ergonomic synergy between the writing function and the application of a customized fragrance. Advantages of the invention • Discretion: The mini perfume spray has an inconspicuous design. • Dual function: Combines writing and perfuming in one object. • User-friendly: Simple and quick handling in everyday use. • Unisex: Ideally suited for both women and men. • Space-saving: Compact solution that saves space in your pocket. • Practical: Can be securely attached to a blouse or jacket pocket. • Versatile: A perfect gift or a high-quality promotional item.
