Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a water pipe arrangement according to the features in the preamble of one of claims 1 or 2.
[0002] It is known from current technology to use, smoke, or vape water pipes. A water pipe is also called a shisha or hookah.
[0003] A hookah consists of a base containing a liquid, usually water. A stem is positioned on top of the base. The stem has a downstem. The stem and downstem are typically connected by a central base. A hose is attached to the base, through which the hookah user draws or inhales smoke, usually with a mouthpiece. To produce smoke, the hookah uses burning charcoal. A bowl sits atop the stem, and the bowl has a heat source or other heat-generating device that heats the tobacco. Tobacco or other smoking materials are placed in the bowl, and charcoal is placed above it or on the heat-generating device. The charcoal is lit, generating the necessary heat.When inhaling through a water pipe, the heat energy from the charcoal is directed towards the tobacco, burning it and producing smoke. The optional charcoal tray catches burning particles, especially ash.
[0004] The bowl can be made of clay or a cement-like material, or it can be made of stone, ceramic, fireclay, glass, or silicone. Each clay bowl is sometimes handmade, so production tolerances may occur. Due to the heat generated, the chimney cap is usually made of a metallic material, and here too, production tolerances can occur. Production tolerances also arise in mass production using molds.

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a secure connection with an optional adjustment mechanism for the combustion process between the head and the chimney attachment.

[0009] According to the invention, this releasable locking mechanism is implemented in two ways. Firstly, the chimney attachment is locked to the clay head, for example, via a bayonet fitting.
[0010] An alternative design variant provides for the clay bowl to have a thread, particularly a coarse thread, and the chimney attachment also has a coarse thread, so that the chimney attachment is screwed onto the clay bowl. The attachment can be manufactured as a sheet metal forming component or as a cast component. In both versions, a thread, particularly an internal thread, can be incorporated during the manufacturing process.

Claims
1. Water pipe arrangement (1) having a water pipe with a bowl (2), a smoke column (4), a charcoal plate (5) and a head (6), placed on the smoke column (4) and an attachment (7), located on the head (6), for example a chimney attachment (7), wherein the attachment (7) laterally overlaps the head (6) and the attachment (7) is positively coupled to the head (6) in a releasably-locked manner, characterized in that the head (6) has at least one, preferably two or more extensions (8) projecting laterally, such that recesses (9) of the attachment (7) engage behind the extensions (8) at least in sections, wherein the head (6) is made of a glass, stone, clay or silicone material, and that a metal ring (10) is embedded, such that the extensions (8) are configured to protrude from the metal ring (10).

Water pipe arrangement (1), having a water pipe with a bowl (2), a smoke column (4), a charcoal plate (5) and a head (6), placed on the smoke column (4) and and an attachment (7), located on the head (6), for example a chimney attachment (7), wherein the attachment (7) laterally overlaps the head (6) and the attachment (7) is positively coupled to the head (6) in a releasably-locked manner, characterized in that the head (6) is screwed onto the attachment (7) via a thread, wherein the distance (A) between the tobacco (15), located in the head (6), and the charcoal (14), located on or in the attachment (7) is adjustable via the positive coupling and the distance (A) is adjustable via the thread3. Water pipe arrangement (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the head (6) is coupled to the attachment (7) via a bayonet lock.
4. Water pipe arrangement (1) according to claim 2, characterized in that the head (6) has a coarse thread on its outside.
5. Water pipe arrangement (1) according to claim 4, characterized in that the attachment (7) has an internal thread (13) on its inside.
