Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a retaining clip for a lamp according to the preamble of claim 1. The invention further relates to a lamp equipped with at least one such retaining clip.

[0002] From EP 2 827 053 A1, a luminaire with a generic retaining clip is known. The luminaire has a straight and elongated support profile comprising a base and two opposing profile walls connected by the base, each with a profile retaining contour at its end furthest from the base. Furthermore, the luminaire has at least one straight and elongated gear tray, comprising a base and two opposing support walls connected by the base, each with a support retaining contour complementary to the profile retaining contour. In the final assembly state of the luminaire, the support retaining contours interact with the profile retaining contours to positively lock the gear tray to the support profile. To secure this final assembly state, the luminaire is equipped with at least one retaining clip, which serves to fix the gear tray to the support profile in the final assembly state. Advantageously, the luminaire is equipped with two or more such retaining clips. Each retaining clip is a sheet metal component formed from a single piece of sheet metal. For its holding function, the retaining clip has at least one support hook for each support wall, with which the retaining clip can be fixed to the gear tray or is fixed to it in the final assembly state. Furthermore, each retaining clip has at least one profile tab for each profile wall, which can be supported against the profile retaining contour of the respective profile wall in the final assembly state or is supported against it in the final assembly state. In other words, in the final assembly state, the retaining clamp is attached to the device carrier via its support hooks and supported on the support profile via its profile tabs, whereby the retaining clamp secures the device carrier to the support profile and thus supports or secures the connection between the device carrier and the support profile.

[0003] The well-known luminaire is also equipped with a separate mounting bracket, designed as a wire-formed component and manufactured from a single piece of wire through forming. This mounting bracket is equipped with a profile hook for each profile wall, which can be hooked onto the profile mounting contour of the respective profile wall for intermediate mounting, or is already hooked onto it in this intermediate mounting position, thereby holding the gear tray on the support profile during this intermediate mounting position. InIn this intermediate assembly state, the device carrier is spaced apart from the support profile. The connection of this retaining bracket to the device carrier is achieved via the retaining clip, for which the retaining bracket is positively engaged with the retaining clip. This requires the wire component to be threaded into the sheet metal component in a complex manner. At the same time, this can make handling the retaining clip for securing it to the device carrier more difficult.

[0004] From DE 10 2019 109 676 A1 a retaining clip is known which is additionally equipped for each profile wall with a profile hook which is formed on a hook element that is separate from a base body of the retaining clip and is adjustably attached to the base body.

[0005] From EP 2 886 946 A1 another retaining clip is known which has a base body on which different hooks are formed.

[0006] The present invention addresses the problem of providing an improved embodiment for a retaining clip of the type described above or for a lamp equipped therewith, which is characterized in particular by reduced manufacturing costs and preferably by simplified handling.

[0007] This problem is solved according to the invention by the subject matter of the independent claim. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.

[0008] The invention is based on the general concept of integrating the retaining bracket into the retaining clamp. According to the invention, it is proposed to equip the retaining clamp for each profile wall with at least one profile hook, which can be hooked onto the profile retaining contour of the respective profile wall during intermediate assembly, or is already hooked onto it during intermediate assembly, thereby holding the device carrier on the support profile during intermediate assembly. It is clear that in this intermediate assembly state, the retaining clamp is already fixed to the device carrier. The design proposed here for the retaining clamp integrates the holding function of the retaining bracket into the retaining clamp without requiring an additional component. It is noteworthy that, in this design, not the entire retaining bracket is integrated into the retaining clip, but only the profile hooks. Furthermore, it should be considered that the profile hooks in the retaining clip according to the invention are formed as sections of the sheet metal part and not, as with a separate retaining bracket, as sections of a wire part. The retaining clip according to the invention is as easy to handle as a conventional retaining clip without an attached retaining bracket. The complex assembly of the retaining bracket with the retaining clip is eliminated for mounting the luminaire. The manufacturing costs for the retaining clip are hardly increased by the additional profile hooks, while the manufacturing costs for the separate retaining bracket are completely eliminated. Due to its integration into the retaining clip, which is a sheet metal part, the respective profile hook also acquires a flat cross-sectional profile parallel to the longitudinal direction of the luminaire. With an electrically conductive contact between at least one of the profile hooks and the respective profile retaining contour, grounding of the support profile can be achieved even during the intermediate assembly stage. For this electrically conductive contact, it is sufficient to leave one end edge of the profile retaining contour, which rests against the profile hook, bare, i.e., unpainted or uncoated. The support profile itself is usually painted or coated. The retaining clip is typically made of stainless steel and is therefore advantageously left entirely unpainted or uncoated.

[0009] According to an advantageous embodiment, the retaining clip can have a clip base which, when the retaining clip is attached to the device carrier, is supported on the carrier base. Furthermore, the respective profile tab can be formed by a clip section projecting from the clip base, with the respective profile hook being formed by the same clip section following the profile tab. In other words, to create the profile hooks on the retaining clip, the clip section forming the profile tab is essentially extended and shaped to form the respective profile hook. Thus, the retaining clip according to the invention can be produced particularly cost-effectively. Furthermore, the retaining clip has an extremely compact design. It is noteworthy that the respective clip section, both in the profile tab and in the profile hook, has a flat profile cross-section parallel to the longitudinal direction of the luminaire.

[0010] Optionally, the retaining clip for each profile wall can have only a single clip section, which is undivided or continuous along the longitudinal direction of the support profile and forms the profile tab and the profile hook. This results in a particularly cost-effective design.

[0011] Optionally, the retaining clip for each profile wall can have exactly one profile tab and / or exactly one profile hook. These measures also reduce manufacturing costs.

[0012] According to the invention, at least one blade-like cutting contact is formed on each profile tab, which, in the final assembly state, cuts into the respective profile retaining contour of the support profile to establish electrical contact between the retaining clip and the support profile. This electrical contact via the respective cutting contact allows, in particular, the grounding of the support profile or the retaining clip within the luminaire. It is noteworthy that this grounding occurs automatically and inevitably when the device carrier is mounted on the support profile in conjunction with the respective retaining clip, since the respective cutting contact, due to the provided kinematics, performs a relative movement under preload with contact to the respective profile retaining contour. In particular, the respective profile tab is in contact with the respective profile holding contour at least during a final phase of the assembly process via the respective cutting edge, resulting in a very high mechanical stress on any paint or coating applied to the support profile, which is damaged by further relative movement. In other words, the cutting contact cuts through any coating or paint and makes contact with the metallic support profile.

[0013] A particularly advantageous design involves forming the cutting contact on a tab edge that rests against the respective profile holding contour during final assembly. This ensures the desired electrical contact in the final assembly state. The cutting contact can be formed during the manufacturing of the retaining clip through a suitable forming process. For example, the respective area of the tab edge can be angled and / or sharpened.

[0014] In another advantageous embodiment, the retaining clip can also have a base which, when the retaining clip is attached to the mounting bracket, rests against the bracket base. A transverse tab can be formed on this base, which is spring-elastic in a transverse direction extending perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the luminaire. This transverse tab allows for the implementation of additional functions on the retaining clip. The transverse tab extends parallel to the transverse direction of the luminaire and is spring-elastic in the vertical direction of the luminaire.

[0015] Optionally, the transverse tab can have a free end located on the same side (top) as the profile tabs and outside the base of the clamp, as seen in a longitudinal section of the retaining clip running parallel to the longitudinal direction of the luminaire. This free end forms an insertion contour for a retaining section of an attachment, which can be secured or fixed to the retaining clip by means of the transverse tab. The free end, which projects upwards, creates a wedge-shaped insertion contour that facilitates the insertion of the retaining section.

[0016] Optionally, the transverse tab between the free end and the clamp base can have a barb pointing away from the free end, so that the barb interacts with the retaining section to secure the attachment to the clamp and, in particular, interlocks with it. This makes it more difficult to pull the retaining section out against the insertion direction, thus improving the securing of the attachment to the clamp.

[0017] The transverse tab can have an S-shaped profile along the length of the luminaire. This transverse tab can have a free end along its length, which is spaced vertically from the base of the clamp. The transverse tab allows a component, attachment, component section, or retaining section to be inserted longitudinally into the upper surface of the mounting bracket facing the support profile. The transverse tab presses the inserted component or component section against the base of the mounting bracket, thereby creating an effective holding effect. In particular, the transverse tab can have at least one barb that engages with the component or component section when it is inserted into the transverse tab, making it more difficult to remove the component or component section from the transverse tab. This improves the holding effect. At the same time, this also allows for the grounding of the respective component that is fixed to the device carrier with the retaining clamp.

[0018] The transverse tab is particularly useful for securing an attachment to the mounting bracket and thus, via the mounting bracket, to the device carrier. Such a mounting component could be, for example, a control unit, a transformer, power electronics, or similar equipment for one or more electrical devices that can be attached to the device carrier.

[0019] In an advantageous embodiment of the luminaire, the support walls of the mounting bracket can have opposing slots on their facing inner sides. In an advantageous embodiment of the retaining clip, this can then be aligned with the slots such that the support hooks engage in these slots when the retaining clip is mounted on the mounting bracket. This secures the retaining clip longitudinally to the support walls by means of a positive fit.

[0020] It may be advantageous to provide at least one sharp-edged contact point on each support hook, which penetrates the respective support wall to establish electrical contact between the retaining clip and the device carrier. This allows, in particular, the grounding of the device carrier or the retaining clip. If the device carrier is equipped with the aforementioned slots, the contact points can penetrate the respective support wall between the inner wall and the respective support mounting contour. In this case, the electrical contact takes place virtually inside the device carrier or in a compartment within the device carrier that is separated from the interior of the mounting profile.

[0021] Another advantageous embodiment of the luminaire proposes that the respective profile wall has an exposed, unpainted end edge at the respective profile holding contour. According to an advantageous embodiment of the retaining clip, the respective profile hook can be adapted to the respective profile holding contour in such a way that, in the intermediate assembly state, the respective profile hook is pre-tensioned and supported against the respective end edge. By supporting the profile hook against the exposed, unpainted end edge of the profile wall, electrical contact between the support profile and the retaining clip can be achieved even in the intermediate assembly state, thereby enabling grounding of the support profile or the retaining clip, particularly in the intermediate assembly state. This is especially advantageous if the electrical load(s) of the luminaire are already connected to a power supply during assembly. This can occur during the initial installation of the light fixture. It is particularly relevant during maintenance, for example, when the gear tray of a light fixture connected to the mains power supply is removed from the mounting profile. Here, too, the retaining clip allows for an intermediate mounting position, which simplifies the installation and removal process.

[0022] A luminaire according to the invention, which is particularly suitable for a light strip comprising several such luminaires, is equipped with a support profile that is straight and elongated with respect to the longitudinal direction of the luminaire. This support profile has a base and two opposing profile walls connected to each other by the base, each of which has a profile retaining contour at its ends furthest from the base. Furthermore, the luminaire is equipped with at least one gear tray that is straight and elongated with respect to the longitudinal direction of the luminaire. This gear tray has a base and two opposing support walls connected to each other by the base, each of which has a support retaining contour complementary to the profile retaining contour. In the final assembly state of the luminaire, the support retaining contours interact with the profile retaining contours to hold the gear tray on the support profile. A snap-fit or clip connection is preferred. The luminaire according to the invention is further equipped with at least one retaining clip of the type described above. In the final assembly state, each retaining clip is supported by its profile tabs against the profile retaining contours of the respective profile wall. Furthermore, in the final assembly state, the retaining clip is attached to the support walls by its support hooks. Finally, in the intermediate assembly state, each retaining clip is hooked onto the profile retaining contours of the profile walls by its profile hooks.

[0023] Further important features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the drawings and the associated description of the figures based on the drawings.

[0024] It is understood that the features mentioned above and those to be explained below can be used not only in the combinations specified, but also in other combinations or individually, without departing from the scope of the invention. Components of a higher-level unit, such as a device, apparatus, or arrangement, mentioned above and those to be mentioned below, which are designated separately, can form separate parts or components of this unit or be integral areas or sections of this unit, even if this is depicted differently in the drawings.

[0025] Preferred embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings and are explained in more detail in the following description, wherein identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar or functionally identical components.

[0026] They show, schematically, Fig. 1 a cross-section of a luminaire in the area of a mounting bracket, Fig. 2 a side view of a light strip comprising several such luminaires, Fig. 3 an isometric view of the mounting bracket on a device carrier, Fig. 4 an isometric view of the mounting bracket, Fig. 5 an isometric view of the mounting bracket in another embodiment, Fig. 6 an isometric view of the mounting bracket made of Fig. 5 From a different viewing angle, Fig. 7 shows an axial view of the retaining clip. Fig. 5 , Fig. 8 a longitudinal section of the retaining clip made of Fig. 5 corresponding to section lines VIII in Fig. 7 , Fig. 9 an enlarged axial view of a profile tab corresponding to a section line IX in Fig. 8 , Fig. 10 an enlarged sectional view of a transverse flap corresponding to a detail X from Fig. 8 Fig. 11 a simplified cross-section of the luminaire in an intermediate assembly state, Fig. 12 the cross-section of the luminaire made of Fig. 11In the final assembly state, Fig. 13 shows an enlarged view in the area of a support hook according to detail VI in Fig. 4 , Fig. 14 an enlarged detail XIV from Fig. 11 , Fig. 15 an enlarged detail XV from Fig. 12 .

[0027] Accordingly Figure 1 , 11 and 12 has a light 1 which is located in the Figure 1 , 11 and 12 Each component is represented in a cross-section running perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X, comprising a support profile 2, at least one current-carrying rail 3, at least one device carrier 4, at least one retaining clip 5, and at least one plug 6. The longitudinal direction X is in Figure 2 indicated by a double arrow and is located in the Figure 1 , 7 , 9 , 11 , 12 , 14 and 15 perpendicular to the plane of the drawing. The lamp 1 has an elongated and straight shape with respect to the longitudinal direction X. According to Figure 2The luminaire 1 can be used, in particular, in a continuous light strip 7, in which several such luminaires 1 are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction X and are directly connected to each other. The luminaire 1 or the continuous light strip 7 is intended for suspended ceiling mounting. Figure 2 A ceiling 8 is shown, to which the light strip 7 or the lights 1 are attached or suspended via several fastening elements 9.

[0028] The support profile 2 is also straight and elongated with respect to the longitudinal direction X and has a profile base 10 and two profile walls 11, which are opposite each other with respect to a transverse direction Y of the luminaire 1 and which are connected to each other by the profile base 10. The profile walls 11 each have a profile retaining contour 12 at their ends furthest from the profile base 10. The gear carrier 4 is also straight and elongated with respect to the longitudinal direction X and has a support base 13 and two support walls 14, which are opposite each other with respect to the transverse direction Y and which are connected to each other by the support base 13. The support walls 14 each have a support retaining contour 15 that is complementary to the profile retaining contour 12. In the final assembly state of the Figure 1 and 12The device carrier 4 is attached to the support profile 2 via the carrier retaining contours 15 and the profile retaining contours 12. The carrier retaining contours 15 and the profile retaining contours 12 expediently form a snap-fit or clip connection for this purpose.

[0029] The respective retaining clip 5 supports the fastening between the device carrier 4 and the support profile 2 in the final assembly state. For this purpose, the retaining clip 5, in particular according to the Figures 4 and 5 Each support wall 14 has at least one support hook 16. In the embodiments shown here, the retaining clip 5 has four such support hooks 16. The retaining clip 5 can be secured to the device carrier 4 by means of the support hooks 16. For this purpose, the support hooks 16 engage in the support walls 14 on their opposing inner sides, which are located on a top surface of the device carrier 4 facing the support profile 2.

[0030] Furthermore, the retaining clip 5 has at least one profile tab 17 for each profile wall 11. In the examples shown here, exactly two such profile tabs 17 are formed on the retaining clip 5. In the final assembly state, the profile tabs 17 bear against the profile retaining contours 12 of the support profile 2. In this final assembly state, the profile tabs 17 bear against the profile retaining contours 12 under a preload oriented in the transverse direction Y. The profile tabs 17 and the profile retaining contours 12 are inclined relative to the transverse direction Y and the vertical direction Z of the luminaire 1, so that the preload of the profile tabs 17, oriented outwards with respect to the transverse direction Y in Figures 1 and 12, simultaneously generates a downward preload in the vertical direction Z. This pulls the device carrier 4 upwards towards the support profile 2 via the retaining clip 5, or holds it under preload.

[0031] For the installation and removal of light fixture 1, a [tool / tool] can also be used in [a specific way / method]. Figure 11 The intermediate assembly state shown is achieved in which the device carrier 4 is spaced apart from the support profile 2. In particular, the carrier holding contours 15 and the profile holding contours 12 are not engaged with each other. This intermediate assembly state serves especially for the longitudinal alignment of the device carrier 4 relative to the support profile 2.

[0032] The retaining clip 5 is equipped with at least one profile hook 18 for each profile wall 11. In the examples shown, the retaining clip 5 has exactly two such profile hooks 18. In the intermediate assembly state, the profile hooks 18 are hooked onto the profile retaining contours 12 and thus hold the device carrier 4 on the support profile 2 in this intermediate assembly state.

[0033] The retaining clip 5 is designed as a sheet metal component, formed from a single piece of sheet metal. Specifically, the clip base 19, the support hooks 16, the profile tabs 17, and the profile hooks 18 are formed by sections of this sheet metal piece. These sections each have a flat profile cross-section, defined by the thickness of the sheet metal piece.

[0034] With the retaining clip 5 mounted on the device carrier 4, the clip base 19 rests against the carrier base 13 on the outer side of the device carrier 4 facing the support profile 2. The clip base 19 transitions at its transverse ends into the carrier hooks 16 and the profile tabs 17. Accordingly, the carrier hooks 16 are formed by clip sections projecting from the clip base 19. The profile tabs 17 are also formed by clip sections projecting from the clip base 19. The profile hooks 18, on the other hand, are formed adjacent to the profile tabs 17 on the same clip section that also forms the respective profile tab 17. In other words, each profile hook 18 transitions into the clip base 19 via the respective profile tab 17.

[0035] The support hooks 16, the profile tabs 17 and the profile hooks 18 are spring-elastic in the transverse direction Y, so that they contact the device carrier 4 or the support profile 2 under preload, especially in the transverse direction Y.

[0036] During the Figures 5 and 6 The embodiment of the retaining clip 5 shown is in accordance with the Figures 5 to 9At least one blade-like cutting contact 20 is formed on each profile tab 17. In the examples shown here, both profile tabs 17 are each equipped with two such cutting contacts 20. In the final assembly state, the cutting contacts 20 cut into the respective profile retaining contour 12, thereby creating an electrical contact between the retaining clip 5 and the support profile 2. In particular, the cutting contacts 20 penetrate any paint or coating that may be provided on the support profile 2 or on the profile retaining contours 12. The respective cutting contact 20 is advantageously formed on a tab edge 21 that limits the respective profile tab 17 in the longitudinal direction X. This tab edge 21 is located in a region of the respective profile tab 17 that, in the final assembly state, is supported against the respective profile retaining contour 12.The cutting contact 20 is elongated and extends over a substantial portion of the respective tab edge 21. This improves the cutting effect of the cutting contact 20 when the profile tab 17 slides down to reach the final assembly state. As can be seen in particular... Figure 9 As can be seen, the cutting edge 20 at the tab edge 21 protrudes from or in front of the remaining profile tab 17 in the direction of the profile holding contour 12. This promotes the cutting action and the electrical contact.

[0037] The in the Figures 5 and 6 The embodiment shown exhibits according to the Figures 5 to 8 and 10A transverse tab 22 is formed on the clamp base 19 and is spring-elastic perpendicular to a plane in which the clamp base 19 extends. In the installed state of the retaining clamp 5, the transverse tab 22 is thus spring-elastic in the vertical direction Z. For this purpose, the transverse tab 22 extends in the transverse direction Y and is cut or punched out of the clamp base 19.

[0038] According to the Figures 8 and 10The transverse tab 22 has an S-shaped profile in the longitudinal direction X. With respect to the longitudinal direction X, the transverse tab 22 has a free-standing end 23 that is located outside the rest of the clamp base 19. In particular, the transverse tab 22, like the support hooks 16 and the profile tabs 17, projects from the clamp base 19, thus expediently upwards with respect to the vertical direction Z. This simplifies the insertion of a component or component section into the transverse tab 22, such that the component or component section is subsequently clamped in the vertical direction Z between the transverse tab 22 and the clamp base 19. For example, an attachment can be secured to the retaining clamp 5 and, via the retaining clamp 5, to the device carrier 4 using the transverse tab 22. Figure 10The transverse tab 22 can have at least one barb 24, which can be sharp-edged or pointed and can form a contact point. When the component or component section is inserted into the transverse tab 23 in the longitudinal direction X, the barb 24 can engage with the component or component section and, in particular, cut into it. For example, this allows for electrical contact between the retaining clip 5 and the respective component. This can be used, in particular, for grounding the component or the retaining clip 5.

[0039] Especially in the Figures 4 to 6The retaining clip 5 shown in Figure 13 can have at least one sharp-edged contact tip 25 on each of the support hooks 16. In the example shown here, each support hook 16 is equipped with two such contact tips 25. When the retaining clip 5 is fastened to the device carrier 4, the contact tips 25 penetrate the respective support wall 14. This establishes an electrical contact between the retaining clip 5 and the device carrier 4.

[0040] In Figure 3 It is evident that the support walls 14 of the device carrier 4 have two opposing slots 27 on their facing inner sides 26, at least for one retaining clip 5, and preferably for each retaining clip 5 of the luminaire 1. These slots 27, of which in Figure 3However, since only one is visible, they are dimensioned with respect to the longitudinal direction X such that, with the retaining clip 5 positioned accordingly, the support hooks 16 can engage in the slots 27. In particular, this allows the contact points 25 between the respective inner wall 26 and the support retaining contour 15 to penetrate into the respective support wall 14.

[0041] According to Figure 14 The respective profile wall 11 can have an exposed, unpainted end edge 28 at the associated profile retaining contour 12. The associated profile hook 18 can be advantageously adapted to the respective profile retaining contour 12 such that, in the intermediate assembly state, the profile hook 18 is pre-tensioned in the transverse direction Y and supported against the respective end edge 28. This allows sufficient electrical contact between the retaining clip 5 and the support profile 2 to be achieved even in the intermediate assembly state.

[0042] According to Figure 15The unpainted end edge 28 in the final assembly state can also be used to achieve sufficient electrical contact between the support profile 2 and the retaining clip 5 via the profile tab 17, which is supported on it in the transverse direction Y under preload. This electrical contact can be significantly improved by the cutting contact 20 described above, which is formed in the area of contact between the profile retaining contour 12 and the profile tab 17 and then cuts into the profile retaining contour 12 of the support profile 2 in the area of the end edge 28.

[0043] The device carrier 4 is in the example of the Figure 1The device carrier 4 is equipped with a lighting device 29, which is suitably attached to the base 13. Furthermore, an optic 30 can be mounted on the device carrier 4, which is, for example, snapped into place with the support walls 14. The lighting device 29 represents an electrical load, which is connected to the plug 6 via cables (not shown). The plug 6 is in turn inserted into the power supply rail 3, which contains conductors of one or more circuits (not specified), thereby ultimately supplying the respective load on the device carrier 4 with electrical energy.
