Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of lighting and / or light signaling, such functions being performed by motor vehicles, and it relates more particularly to light modules capable of performing these functions and means of fixing these light modules to vehicles.
[0002] The lighting and / or signaling systems of motor vehicles are subject to regulations requiring that each vehicle be capable of performing lighting and / or signaling functions that comply with specific safety standards, including a high beam function and a low beam function. The low beam function allows a motor vehicle to be seen by other road users and enables its driver to see the road clearly up to 30 meters ahead without dazzling other road users. The high beam function emits more intense beams of light so that the driver can see the road clearly at least 100 meters ahead in nighttime conditions.
[0003] These low beam and high beam functions can be implemented by lighting modules, which are integrated into lighting devices located on the front of motor vehicles. Such lighting modules include a light source, which can, for example, take the form of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) emitting a beam of light. These LEDs are mounted on at least one printed circuit board, which is generally placed on a support such as a heat sink integrated into the lighting module. This printed circuit board is covered with an optical element such as a reflector, which reflects the light beams emitted by the LEDs in order to combine and direct them towards a lens according to a predetermined distribution. A printed circuit board, the LEDs mounted on this circuit board, and a reflector constitute a lighting subassembly.
[0004] A lighting device may comprise two lighting modules, each equipped with a lighting sub-assembly. The lighting modules may be configured to perform a low beam or high beam function, respectively. Alternatively, a lighting module may be equipped with two lighting sub-assemblies arranged on either side of the same support and configured to direct the emitted and deflected light beams towards a common lens. Each sub-assembly is dedicated to performing all or part of a lighting and / or signaling function.
[0005] The light modules are attached to the lighting device housings via a mounting plate, which forms a movable and adjustable interface positioned between the light module and the housing fixed to the vehicle structure. Each light module is equipped with fasteners that allow it to be screwed onto the mounting plate. When replacing a light module, in the event of a malfunction of one of its components, such as the light source, manufacturers aim to allow for easy replacement of that component. Sometimes, due to accessibility issues, it is necessary to remove the light module. Depending on the available space around the lighting device, it may be necessary to reposition the defective light module and the replacement module horizontally or vertically relative to the mounting plate.
[0006] A known lighting device is described in document JP 2010067556 A.
[0007] The present invention falls within this context by proposing an interchangeable light module, that is, one that can be assembled to a lighting device in two different mounting directions. Such a light module can thus be mounted vertically or longitudinally, in the direction that facilitates its removal and therefore its replacement.
[0008] An object of the present invention relates to a motor vehicle lighting device as defined in claim 1. According to the invention, the lighting device comprises a lighting module and a mounting plate, and the lighting module comprises at least a first attachment means configured to fix the lighting module on the lighting device in a first direction and a second attachment means configured to fix the lighting module on the lighting device in a second direction different from the first direction.
[0009] Such a light module can be attached to the lighting device in two different directions. This attachment is achieved via a mounting plate, which is a component connected to the lighting device by adjustable means that allow for adjusting the position of the light module, and more specifically, its orientation. These adjustable means allow, by changing the orientation of the mounting plate, for changing the orientation of the light module mounted on the plate and therefore the orientation of the light beams emitted by this module.
[0010] The lighting module may, for this purpose, comprise a single mounting plate, which has first means adapted to cooperate with the mounting means in the first direction and second means adapted to cooperate with the mounting means in the second direction. Alternatively, the lighting module may be equipped with two separate mounting plates, one of which is chosen according to the desired mounting direction and therefore according to the mounting means used.
[0011] The alternative fixing method resulting from the presence of two different types of attachment means makes it possible to meet space constraints, but also assembly recommendations issued by automotive manufacturers.
[0012] According to the invention, the first and second attachment means are used alternately to fix the light module to the light device. In other words, the first and second attachment means are not used simultaneously to fix the light module to the light device. Thus, either the first attachment means is used to fix the light module to the light device, or the second attachment means is used to fix the light module to the light device. The choice between the first and second attachment means is made according to the desired direction of attachment of the light module.
[0013] According to one feature of the invention, the first direction is perpendicular to the second direction.
[0014] According to one feature of the invention, the first direction is a vertical direction perpendicular to the ground on which the motor vehicle is placed. Fixing in the vertical direction may be particularly preferred because it allows the module to rest on the mounting plate, which is advantageous from isostatic considerations.
[0015] According to one feature of the invention, the second direction is a longitudinal direction corresponding to the principal direction of extension of the motor vehicle. This principal direction of extension of the motor vehicle equipped with the lighting module according to the invention also corresponds to a direction of travel or forward movement of this vehicle. Mounting along the longitudinal direction offers advantages, particularly for the removal and replacement of the lighting module. It can resolve the accessibility problems posed by mounting along the vertical direction, in which components may obstruct removal.
[0016] According to another characteristic, the light module has at least three first attachment means and / or at least three second attachment means, at least two of the first attachment means and / or two of the second attachment means being arranged opposite each other in the vicinity of one of the transverse or vertical ends of the light module.
[0017] A configuration with three attachment points, arranged transversely on either side of the light module, ensures the module remains statically stable. An alternative embodiment with four initial attachment points and / or four secondary attachment points is also possible, which helps to limit vibrations and cantilever stresses.
[0018] Transverse ends are defined as the ends of the light module along a transverse direction that extends perpendicularly to both the first and second directions. This arrangement of the attachment points also allows access to different parts of the light module.
[0019] According to one feature of the invention, a single part of the light module is configured to include at least one first attachment means and at least one second attachment means.
[0020] For example, that same part could be a radiator, notably made of aluminum.
[0021] In addition or alternatively, said same part forms a support for at least some of the parts constituting the lighting module, in particular a lighting sub-assembly
[0022] It is advantageous to use the support and / or the radiator to support the attachment means because this part is stronger than other components of the light module.
[0023] Alternatively, the first attachment method is located on a first part of the light module, and the second attachment method is located on a second part of the light module, different from the first part. In this scenario, the first part could be the support and the second part an optical element, for example, a reflector.
[0024] According to another characteristic, the first and second fastening means are formed, respectively, by a screw shank adapted to receive a tightening screw, and by a perforated wall intended to be pressed against a screw shank by a tightening screw head. The screw shank may be a threaded shank or, alternatively, a shank whose thread is formed by the insertion of a self-tapping screw.
[0025] According to one feature of the invention, the perforated wall forming one of the attachment means includes a light opening onto an end edge of said perforated wall. This particular shape of the attachment means facilitates the removal of the mold(s) during the molding operation of the support, which is injected in one piece.
[0026] The invention further relates to a motor vehicle lighting device comprising a lighting module as described above and a mounting plate, the lighting module being fixed to the lighting device via the mounting plate and at least one of its attachment means.
[0027] According to another feature, the light module is fixed to the light device via the mounting plate and one of the first and second attachment means, and an additional piece is attached to the light module by the other of the first and second attachment means.
[0028] An additional component is defined as any component other than the mounting plate. This additional component could be, but is not limited to, a reflector, a heat sink, or a fan, or an intermediate support component designed to support at least one reflector, heat sink, or fan. It is understood that this additional component is attached to the light module using a means of attachment that is not used to attach the module to the light fixture. Thus, one of the two means of attachment is used to secure the module to the mounting plate, and the other means of attachment is used to secure the additional component.
[0029] The features, variations, and different embodiments of the invention may be combined in various ways, provided they are not incompatible or mutually exclusive. In particular, variations of the invention may include only a selection of features, described hereafter in isolation from the other features described, if this selection of features is sufficient to confer a technical advantage and / or to differentiate the invention from the prior art.
[0030] Other features, details and advantages of the invention will become clearer upon reading the following description on the one hand, and an example of an embodiment given by way of illustration and not limitation with reference to the attached drawings on the other hand, in which: [ Fig.1 ] is a bottom view of a first embodiment of a light module according to the invention and of a first type of mounting plate, the [ Fig.1 ] making visible, in particular, the means of attaching the light module in a first direction; [ Fig.2 ] is a rear perspective view of the light module and mounting plate of the first type of the [ Fig.1 ], there [ Fig.2 ] making visible, in particular, the means of attaching the light module in a first direction and the means of attaching the light module in a second direction; [ Fig.3 ] is a view of the light module of the [ Fig.1 ], from the same perspective angle as that of the [ Fig.2 ], this time with a second-type mounting plate cooperating with means for attaching the light module in the second direction; [ Fig.4 ] is a view of the light module of the [ Fig.1 ], from the same perspective angle as that of the figures 2 And 3 , without a mounting plate, to make the various attachment points supported by a light module more visible; [ Fig.5 ] is a bottom view of a second embodiment of a light module according to the invention, here without an associated mounting plate, and on which are visible attachment means in the first direction and attachment means in the second direction; [ Fig.6 ] represents the light module of the [ Fig.5 ], according to a rear perspective view and with an associated second-type mounting plate, the mounting plate cooperating with attachment means in the second direction; [ Fig.7 ] is a close-up view of the [ Fig.6 ], making more particularly visible a portion of the attachment means along the second direction of the light module cooperating with the mounting plate of a second type; [ Fig.8 ] is a side view of the light module of the [ Fig.5 ], making visible the difference in the direction of attachment of the different attachment means carried by the light module.
[0031] In the figures, elements common to several figures retain the same reference.
[0032] In the detailed description that follows, the terms "longitudinal," "transverse," and "vertical" refer to the orientation of the light module according to the invention. A longitudinal direction corresponds to a principal direction of elongation of the motor vehicle comprising this light module, this longitudinal direction being parallel to a longitudinal axis L of a frame of reference L, V, T illustrated in the figures. A vertical direction corresponds to a direction perpendicular to the ground on which the motor vehicle is positioned, this vertical direction being parallel to a vertical axis V of the frame of reference L, V, T, and this vertical axis being perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L. Finally, a transverse direction corresponds to a direction parallel to a transverse axis T of the frame of reference L, V, T, this transverse axis T being perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L and to the vertical axis V.
[0033] Furthermore, the terms "lower" and "upper" concerning the components of the light module are understood in relation to the positioning of these components with respect to the support of the light module, an upper component being positioned with respect to the upper face of the support bearing the first reflector while an lower component is positioned with respect to the lower face of this support bearing the second reflector.
[0034] A light module 1 will be described here as comprising two light sub-assemblies, each of these light sub-assemblies corresponding to a particular lighting and / or signaling function. It is understood, however, that the following description is also intended to apply. mutatis mutandis, to any type of light module, and in particular a light module which would have only one light subset or which would have more than two subsets.
[0035] The light module 1 according to the invention extends primarily along a longitudinal direction, which corresponds to the direction of elongation of the motor vehicle it is intended to equip. As mentioned previously, the light module 1 is more specifically a dual-function light module, that is to say, a module comprising a support 3 on either side of which are arranged two sub-assemblies S1, S2 configured to emit different light beams.
[0036] Each sub-assembly S1, S2 is configured to direct light rays towards a lens 10 which helps to form a standard light beam. The light module 1 further includes a heat sink 9 whose fins 93 extend, mainly in longitudinal and vertical directions, to a second longitudinal end 12, opposite a first longitudinal end 11, of the light module 1, to dissipate the heat generated by the operation of the light sources.
[0037] The heat sink 9 and the support 3 form a single, integrated piece. The support 3 thus has a substantially flat portion which the fins 93 of the heat sink 9 tend to extend to the second longitudinal end 12. This substantially flat portion of the support 3 forms a receiving area for printed circuit boards of each of the subassemblies S1 and S2. Within this receiving area, the support 3 presents a first face 31 and a second face 32, these faces 31 and 32 being opposite each other in the vertical direction.
[0038] Each subassembly S1, S2 comprises at least one printed circuit board, one or more light sources and a reflector configured to deflect the rays emitted by the light sources towards the lens 10. More particularly, a first subassembly S1 comprises a first printed circuit board, fixed on the first face 31 of the support 3, as well as first light sources fixed on the first printed circuit board and a first reflector 7 which is arranged according to the position of the light sources and which is configured to deflect the light rays emitted by the light sources towards the lens 10.On the other side of support 3, a second subassembly S2 comprises a second printed circuit board, a second set of light sources mounted on the second printed circuit board, and a second reflector 8 positioned according to the light sources and configured to deflect the light rays emitted by the light sources towards the lens 10, which is common to both subassemblies. In the illustrated example, the first subassembly is configured to produce a first light beam that fulfills a low beam function, while the second subassembly is configured to produce a second light beam which, in combination with the first light beam, contributes to a high beam function.
[0039] In the vicinity of the first longitudinal end 11, the support 3 has an upper wall on its upper face 31, as well as two lower walls 36, 37, visible on the [ Fig.4 ], on its lower face 32. These walls extend along the longitudinal direction perpendicular to the portion of the support 3 which supports them and participate in guiding and compartmentalizing the light rays towards the lens 10, not visible here, according to a predetermined distribution.
[0040] According to the invention, the light module 1 comprises at least one first attachment means 4 configured to fix the light module 1 within a lighting device along a first direction V, which here corresponds to the vertical direction, and at least one second attachment means 5 configured to fix the light module 1 within a lighting device along a second direction L, which here corresponds to the longitudinal direction. The first direction V and the second direction L, which define the orientations of each of the attachment means 4, 5 mounted on the light module 1 according to the invention, may be perpendicular to each other.
[0041] The first direction V is perpendicular to the ground on which the motor vehicle equipped with the light module 1 is placed, while the second direction L corresponds to the direction of extension of this motor vehicle, which also corresponds to its direction of advancement.
[0042] THE figures 1 à 4 illustrate more specifically a first embodiment of the light module 1 according to the invention, and the figures 5 à 8 illustrate a second embodiment of this light module according to the invention, the two embodiments differing from each other in particular by the shape of the at least one second attachment means 5. In these embodiments, a light module with several first attachment means and several second attachment means will be described in particular, it being understood that the invention aims to cover a light module equipped with at least one first attachment means configured for attaching the light module in a direction different from that allowed by at least one second attachment means, regardless of the number of attachment means.
[0043] It is noteworthy that according to the invention, whatever the forms given to the first attachment means 4 and the second attachment means 5, these two types of attachment means are permanently present on the light module 1, able to be implemented selectively according to the configuration of the light device and the motor vehicle in which the light module 1 is integrated.
[0044] In what will be described below, the two types of attachment means are formed on the same part, here the support 3, an end part of which is extended by the fins 93 of the radiator 9. However, alternatives could be considered in which these attachment means 4, 5 are arranged on different parts from each other, for example on the support 3 for the first attachment means 4 and on one of the reflectors 8 or 9 for the second attachment means 5.
[0045] When fitted to a motor vehicle, the light module 1 is attached to the lighting system via a mounting plate. This mounting plate acts as an interface between the light module 1 and the housing of the lighting system, which is designed to be fixed and integral to the vehicle's structure. The light module 1 is mounted vertically or horizontally on this interface plate.
[0046] In the embodiments described below, the various attachment means 4, 5 of the light module 1 are designed to cooperate with a mounting plate specific to each attachment means. The mounting plate thus differs depending on the intended mounting direction of the light module 1 during these replacement operations. It should be noted, however, that according to the invention, a common mounting plate for both attachment means 4, 5 on the light module 1 could be provided, comprising both means complementary to the first attachment means 4 and means complementary to the second attachment means 5.
[0047] In the case of mounting plates specific to each attachment method, the lighting device may be equipped with a first type of mounting plate, having a vertical mounting plate 40, which provides a vertical displacement stop for the lighting module 1 and is capable of cooperating with the first attachment method 4, along the first attachment direction V, if it is desired to be able to remove the defective lighting module and insert the replacement lighting module along the vertical direction. The first attachment method 4 will then be used to cooperate with this first type of mounting plate 40.
[0048] Alternatively, the lighting device may be equipped with a second type of mounting plate, namely a longitudinal mounting plate 50, which provides a longitudinal displacement stop for the lighting module 1 and is capable of cooperating with the second attachment means 5, along the second attachment direction L, if it is desired to be able to remove the defective lighting module and insert the replacement lighting module along the longitudinal direction. The second attachment means 5 will then be used to cooperate with this second type of mounting plate 50.
[0049] The first attachment means 4 and the second attachment means 5, carried on the same light module, can therefore be used alternatively to fix the light module 1 to the light device, depending on the direction of attachment chosen.
[0050] According to an additional feature not shown here, the attachment means not used to fix the light module 1 to the housing of the lighting device via the corresponding mounting plate can be used to attach an additional component to this light module 1, such as a reflector, a radiator, or a fan, without this list being exhaustive. It would thus be possible to fix the light module 1 to the lighting device using the first attachment means 4, while the second attachment means 5 would be used to fix one of the reflectors 7 or 8.
[0051] For each of the embodiments that will be described, a figure, namely the [ Fig.4 ] for the first embodiment and the [ Fig.8 ] for the second embodiment, illustrate in the same view, without a fixing plate, the direction of assembly and disassembly of the light module for each of the two means of attachment, the direction of assembly for the first means of attachment 4 being materialized by solid arrows while the direction of assembly for the second means of attachment 5 is materialized by hatched arrows.
[0052] Plates 40 and 50 have sleeves 300 which form part of adjustable means for connecting the plates to the housing of the lighting device, these sleeves being intended to receive adjustment screws whose movement allows the sleeve to be moved closer to or further from the housing of the lighting device and thus to rotate the plates, and the lighting module which they are intended to carry, if necessary.
[0053] We will now describe in more detail the first attachment means 4 and the associated vertical mounting plate 40, which is notably visible on the figures 1 et 2 and which is similar here, just like the first attachment means 4, from one embodiment to another. This vertical mounting plate 40 has essentially an L-shape, with a first arm 401 and a second arm 402 visible in [ Fig.2 ]. The first arm 401 is positioned opposite the second reflector 8, while the second arm 402 extends perpendicularly to the first arm 401 and extends opposite one of the transverse ends 110, 120 of the light module 1.
[0054] Each first attachment means 4 allows the light module 1 to be fixed to the first type plate 40, via the cooperation of a clamping screw 41 with a screwing shaft 42, dimensioned to receive the clamping screw 41, and a perforated wall 431 intended to form a stop wall, here vertical, against which the head of the clamping screw 41 is able to bear when screwed into the screwing shaft 42. In the illustrated example, the first attachment means 4, here three in number, are formed in particular by screwing shafts 42 made on the light module 1, and more particularly the support 3, and the perforated walls 431 are walls of the first type mounting plate 40.
[0055] The first attachment means are arranged so that two of them are aligned along the transverse direction and are substantially equidistant from the first and second longitudinal ends 11 and 12 of the light module, while the third first attachment means is arranged in the vicinity of the second longitudinal end 12.
[0056] The first attachment means 4 are thus associated here with three clamping screws 41, including a first screw 41A, a second screw 41B and a third screw 41C. These three clamping screws 41A, 41B, 41C pass through the vertical mounting plate 40, which locally forms the perforated walls 431 mentioned above, and are inserted into screw shafts 42 made of the material of the support 3, forming the first attachment means 4 of the light module 1, respectively a first shaft 42A, a second shaft 42B and a third shaft 42C, which are notably visible in [ Fig.5 The third barrel 42C, which receives the third screw 41C, is positioned on a fin 93 or between two fins 93 of the radiator 9, depending on the embodiment. The first and second barrels 42A, 42B protrude from the support 3, and more specifically from its lower face 32, on either side of the second reflector 8 in the transverse direction.
[0057] It should be noted at this stage that the first attachment means 4 allow the light module 1 to be mounted and dismounted from the first type 40 mounting plate, i.e., the vertical mounting plate, which requires screwing and unscrewing operations in a vertical direction, as can be seen in particular from the figures 1 et 2 .
[0058] According to the invention, the light module 1 can also be fixed to the light device by implementing the second attachment means 5, that is to say by favouring a longitudinal mounting and dismounting direction, via a second type fixing plate 50, or in a way not represented here via a plate common to the first and second attachment means.
[0059] In the case illustrated in the figures, and particularly with reference to the figures 3 And 6 , the second type mounting plate, or longitudinal mounting plate 50, has a substantially rectangular frame shape suitable for surrounding the light module 1.
[0060] The longitudinal mounting plate 50 thus comprises a frame 504 and projections associated with screw shafts. It is therefore noteworthy that in the case illustrated in the figures, each second attachment means mounted on the light module 1 is formed by a perforated wall 531, suitable for being pressed against a screw shaft 52 present on the mounting plate of the second type 50.
[0061] The frame 504 is arranged around the light module 1, approximately equidistant from the two longitudinal ends 11, 12 of this light module 1. The projections 501, 503 and the associated screw shafts 52 are in number less than or equal to the number of second attachment means 5, namely three according to the first embodiment shown in the [ Fig.3 ], respectively a first projection 501, a second projection not visible in the figures and transversely opposite to the first projection and a third projection 503, and two according to the second embodiment shown in figures 5 à 8 , respectively the first projection 501 and the second projection not visible on the figures and transversely opposite to the first projection 501. These projections 501, 503 extend substantially perpendicularly from the frame 504, from which they protrude, towards the second longitudinal end 12 of the light module 1 and are extended by a screw shaft 52.
[0062] In accordance with the first attachment means 4 previously described, each second attachment means 5 allows the light module 1 to be fixed to the plate of the second type 50, via the cooperation of a clamping screw 51 with a screwing shank 52, dimensioned to receive the clamping screw 51, and a perforated wall 531 intended to form a stop wall, here longitudinal, against which the head of the clamping screw 51 is able to bear when screwed into the screwing shank 52. In the illustrated example, the second attachment means 5 are in particular formed by perforated walls 531 protruding from the support 3 and dimensioned to be passed through by clamping screws 51, which are also received in screwing shanks 52 of the plate of the second type 50, at the level of the projections 501, 503 of the latter.
[0063] More specifically, each perforated wall 531 forming the second means of attachment 5 extends vertically, opposite a free end of a screw shaft 52 forming a projection of the plate of the second type 50.
[0064] The light module 1 according to the first embodiment shown in [ Fig.3 is equipped with three second attachment means 5, with each of these second attachment means 5 cooperating, via a suitable clamping screw 51A, 51C respectively with the first projection 501, the second projection and the third projection 503. Considering a longitudinal and transverse plane in which the support 3 is mainly situated, the first projection 501 and the second projection are arranged on one side of this plane, on the side of the lower face 32 of the support 3, while the third projection 503 is arranged on the other side of this plane, on the side of the upper face 31 of the support 3. This results in an arrangement of the second attachment means 5 on either side of the longitudinal and transverse plane in which the support 3 is mainly situated.
[0065] Two second attachment means 5 are arranged laterally near the transverse end edges of the support 3 and are positioned opposite the first and second projections 501. These two laterally arranged second attachment means 5 comprise a base 532, formed by a wall extending transversely from the support 3, and the perforated wall 531 as previously mentioned, which extends substantially perpendicularly from the base. The third second attachment means 5, arranged substantially equidistant from the other two second attachment means, comprises a perforated wall 531 that extends vertically from consecutive fins 93 of the radiator 9.
[0066] Each perforated wall 531 has a slot 533 suitable for the shaft of the clamping screw 51A, 51C to pass through, and it is noteworthy that each slot opens onto an upper end edge 534 of the corresponding perforated wall 531, so that each slot can be considered as extending in a vertical direction from a bottom wall of the slot to the upper edge of the perforated wall 531. The clearance 535 formed by the opening of the slot facilitates the demolding of the support 3, which carries the two types of fastening means in the illustrated example, it being noted that the direction of extension of the screw shafts 42 of the first fastening means 4 and the direction of extension of the slot 533 formed in the perforated wall 531 of the second fastening means are parallel.
[0067] The light module according to the second embodiment, shown in figures 5 à 8 The second embodiment is equipped with four secondary attachment means 5, of which one secondary attachment means cooperates, via a suitable clamping screw 51B, with the first projection 501, and a second secondary attachment means cooperates, via a suitable clamping screw 51D, with the second projection. The two remaining secondary attachment means of the second embodiment are secured, via a clamping screw 51C, 51D, against the frame 504 of the longitudinal mounting plate 50. As described for the first embodiment, the secondary attachment means 5 are distributed on either side of the longitudinal and transverse plane in which the support 3 is primarily situated, since the two remaining secondary attachment means, secured against the frame, are arranged on the side of the upper face 31 of the support 3.
[0068] There [ Fig.7] details more specifically the configuration of the second attachment means 5 according to this second embodiment. Such a configuration will be described in detail below for the two second attachment means arranged near the first transverse end 110 and forming a pair of second attachment means, but it is understood that the same arrangement is respected for the two second attachment means arranged near the second transverse end 120.
[0069] Within a pair of second attachment means 5, each second attachment means 5 comprises, as previously described for the first embodiment, a perforated wall 531 equipped with a light through which a clamping screw 51A is able to pass in order to engage in a screw shank 52 carried by the fixing plate 50 and to clamp the perforated wall 531 between the screw shank 52 and the screw head.
[0070] More particularly, a pair of second attachment means 5 comprises a base 532 arranged in the transverse extension of the support 3 and two perforated walls 531 arranged opposite each other at the longitudinal ends of this base 532. A second attachment means 5 of this pair, forming a second primary attachment means, is formed by a perforated wall 531 extending substantially perpendicularly from the base 532 on the side of the first face 31 of the support 3 and the other second attachment means of this pair, forming a second secondary attachment means, is formed by a perforated wall 531 extending substantially perpendicularly from the base 532 on the side of the second face 32 of the support 3.
[0071] It is noteworthy that each perforated wall 531, against which the head of a clamping screw 51A, 51B is intended to bear, has an opening that leads to the edge of the perforated wall arranged in line with the base 532. Consequently, the opening in the second primary gripping means opens downwards, and the opening in the second secondary gripping means opens upwards. This feature, combined with the arrangement of the second gripping means 5 in the same pair on either side of the support's elongation plane, allows for simplified removal of the molds, whose parting line corresponds to the support's elongation plane 3, in opposite directions.
[0072] The second primary fastening means is suitable for cooperating with a primary screw 51A and the second secondary fastening means is suitable for cooperating with a secondary screw 51B, the primary screw 51A and secondary screw 51B being intended to be inserted into screwing barrels 52 configured to receive them, respectively a screwing barrel housed in the frame 504 of the fixing plate and a secondary screwing barrel 52B, formed by a projection 501 of the fixing plate of the second type 50.
[0073] As previously mentioned, second primary and secondary fastening means equivalent to those just described in the vicinity of the first transverse end 110 form a pair of second fastening means in the vicinity of the second transverse end 120, capable of cooperating also with a primary screw 51C and a secondary screw 51D.
[0074] As described above, the present invention achieves its stated objective, namely to provide a light module that can be assembled to a lighting device in two different mounting directions: a vertical direction or a longitudinal direction. This interchangeability offers, in particular, easy access to the tightening screws, thus facilitating the replacement of the light module according to the invention.
[0075] The present invention is not limited to the means and configurations described and illustrated herein, and also extends to any equivalent means and configuration as well as any technically operative combination of such means.
