Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a shower tray mounting arrangement for mounting a shower partition, comprising a retaining rail arrangement configured to be coupled, at least partially, to a section of at least one shower partition, in particular to engage with a section of at least one shower partition, and to be attached to a spatial structure, in particular a wall, and an LED unit for illuminating a shower tray, which is attached to the retaining rail arrangement. The invention further relates to a shower tray mounting system and the use of an LED unit in a shower tray mounting arrangement for illuminating a shower tray.
[0002] Shower enclosure mounting systems of the type mentioned above are used to attach a shower screen to a room structure, thus spatially separating the shower area from the rest of the bathroom. This room structure can be a wall, a ceiling, or a floor. A shower screen mounted in this way can be made of a translucent material, such as glass or acrylic glass, or of an opaque material, such as cast mineral. Especially if the shower screen is opaque, light sources can be used to illuminate the shower area. Such a mounting system can also be combined with several shower screens or shower screen segments. These can be divided lengthwise and / or crosswise and, together, create a partitioned shower area.
[0003] From DE 20 2016 102 470 U1, a stabilizing bar for attaching a shower partition to a wall is known, which has a light source. The light source is either supplied by a power supply unit integrated into the stabilizing bar, such as a battery, or is connected to a network connection via supply lines that are led to the light source through a supply opening.
[0004] Supplying light sources via integrated power supply units negatively limits their operating life. However, concepts for a safe connection of these light sources to the power grid via a mains connection are lacking. Such light sources offer insufficient protection against splashing water and water vapor, particularly when connected to a mains supply. This poses a safety risk in wet areas such as showers. A particular challenge therefore arises in areas where splashing water and continuous water vapor can penetrate.
[0005] It is therefore an object of the present invention to increase the safety of a shower mounting arrangement of the type mentioned above and to ensure continuous operation of the LED unit.
[0006] The invention solves the aforementioned problem in a first aspect by means of a shower area mounting arrangement according to claim 1.
[0007] It should be understood that, according to the invention, the retaining strip arrangement can also be multi-part and that the components of the retaining strip arrangement can be spatially spaced apart from one another. At least one section or component connects the shower tray mounting arrangement to a room structure, and at least one section or component of the retaining strip arrangement is coupled to the at least one shower partition. Thus, the retaining strip arrangement effects the arrangement of the shower partition in the room, whereby the individual components of the retaining strip arrangement can also be connected to each other only indirectly via the shower partition.
[0008] With regard to a shower tray mounting arrangement described above, the invention proposes that the LED unit comprises an LED light strip for emitting light in one direction and a connecting cable for connection to a mains supply. The LED strip of the LED unit is to be enclosed in a media-tight manner, i.e., protected from splashing water and water vapor, so that the LED unit, despite being connected to a mains supply via the connecting cable, does not pose a safety risk during showering. The invention proposes two alternative designs for this media-tight enclosure of the LED light strip.
[0009] According to a first alternative, the LED unit has a cast housing extending in a longitudinal direction (GL) into which the LED light strip is cast such that a media-tight connection is formed between the cast housing and the LED light strip, and / or the LED light strip is media-tightly enclosed within the cast housing. The LED unit is enclosed by the cast housing in a media-tight, and in particular fluid-tight, manner, except for a front surface in the direction of the beam, through which light is emitted in the beam direction. The retaining strip arrangement has at least one LED receptacle extending along a longitudinal direction of the strip, preferably configured to hold the LED unit such that the longitudinal direction of the housing runs parallel to the longitudinal direction of the strip. Furthermore, the beam direction of the LED light strip is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the housing and away from the LED receptacle.
[0010] In other words, with regard to a shower tray mounting arrangement described above according to the first alternative, the invention proposes that the LED unit comprises a cast housing extending in a longitudinal direction, an LED light strip for emitting light in a beam direction, which is cast into the housing and enclosed by the housing at least in its longitudinal direction, and a connecting cable for connecting to a mains supply. The mounting strip arrangement includes at least one LED receptacle extending along a longitudinal direction and configured to receive the LED unit such that the longitudinal direction of the housing is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the strip and the beam direction of the LED light strip is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the housing and away from the LED receptacle.By embedding the LED light strip in the cast housing, such that the LED light strip is enclosed by the cast housing in the longitudinal direction of the housing and preferably on a surface rearward with respect to the direction of light emission, the LED light strip is sealed by the cast housing. It should be understood that the LED light strip is embedded in the cast housing in such a way that a media-tight connection is formed between the cast housing and the LED light strip, or that the LED light strip is contained within the cast housing in a media-tight manner. Preferably, only a front surface of the LED unit, from which light is emitted in the direction of light emission, is not enclosed by the cast housing. This front surface is preferably sealed to the cast housing or sealed by an upstream surface that is media-tightly connected to the cast housing. This front surface is designed to be translucent. This protects the LED strip from splashes and water vapor. The LED unit can therefore be flexibly inserted into the mounting strip assembly via the LED holder and also removed again without damage, so that the LED unit can be replaced in case of damage without disassembling the mounting strip assembly.
[0011] According to a second alternative, at least one section of the retaining strip arrangement is configured as an LED housing, which extends in a longitudinal direction and is designed to enclose the LED light strip in a media-tight, particularly fluid-tight, manner. The LED housing comprises at least one translucent surface located forward of the beam direction, through which the LED light strip emits light in the beam direction, and a casing section that is connected to the translucent surface in a media-tight, particularly fluid-tight, manner and encloses the LED unit in a section located rearward of the beam direction. This translucent surface may preferably also be a diffusing element.
[0012] The shower area, i.e., the area above the shower / bathtub with a height of 2.25 m and a radius of 1.2 m around the fixture, therefore requires electrical plumbing installations with a rating of at least IP44. However, for safety reasons, electrical plumbing installations with an IP65 rating are generally used. This means that water resistance is essential, the electrical plumbing installation must be completely dustproof, and it must be protected against water jets from all angles (e.g., from pressure washers or showers). The invention addresses these requirements through the cast housing or the LED housing.
[0013] Furthermore, the connecting cable enables continuous operation of the LED unit. The LED unit is fully integrated into the LED receptacle or housing of the mounting strip assembly, with the housing's longitudinal direction running parallel to the strip's longitudinal direction and the beam direction of the LED light strip being orthogonal to the housing's longitudinal direction and thus away from the LED receptacle or housing. This allows the emitted light to be well distributed throughout the room, providing efficient illumination of the shower area. Therefore, in a shower area mounting arrangement according to the invention, the LED unit not only provides a visually appealing lighting effect but also actual illumination of the shower area.
[0014] It should be understood that the beam direction of the LED strip, when installed, does not correspond to the plane of the shower partition. According to a first embodiment, the LED strip is configured to illuminate the shower area, and thus the beam direction is directed towards the shower area. In a further embodiment, the LED strip is configured to illuminate the room, and thus the beam direction is directed away from the shower area. In a further embodiment, the LED strip is configured to illuminate a room structure, and thus the beam direction is directed away from the shower area towards a wall or ceiling. In each case, the illumination occurs along the longitudinal direction of the housing.
[0015] Further developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims, which further develop the concept of the invention with regard to advantageous features within the scope of the problem statement and with regard to further advantages.
[0016] Preferably, the connecting cable is completely enclosed by the cast housing or the LED housing in a media-tight manner, wherein the cast housing or the LED housing and / or the mounting strip assembly preferably have a connector attached to the connecting cable for connection to a network connection. It should further be understood that the connector and / or the connecting cable enclosed by the cast housing or the LED housing may still be flexible to allow for easy connection to a mains supply. Because the connecting cable is enclosed by the cast housing, effective protection of the connecting cable against water vapor and splashing water is ensured, and operational reliability is increased.
[0017] Preferably, the LED unit includes low-voltage wiring, to which the connector and connecting cable are assigned. Low-voltage wiring, in this context, refers to an installation of at least one termination connector and cables or wires for transmitting low-voltage electrical signals up to 50 volts (AC). This increases the safety of the LED unit and generally does not pose a life-threatening risk, even in the event of an electric shock. The termination connector is preferably a wire-wrapping connector, crimp connector, solder connector, loop connector, or compression connector.
[0018] According to a preferred embodiment, the shower tray mounting arrangement includes a diffuser element, in particular a diffuser disc, which is positioned close to the LED unit in the direction of light beam such that the light emitted by the LED unit strikes the diffuser disc directly. Light emitted by LED light strips is sometimes perceived as unpleasant, so a diffuser element provides more diffused light. This results in a more harmonious distribution of the light emitted by the LED unit. Because the LED unit is independent of the diffuser element, the diffuser element can be retrofitted or removed as needed to accommodate individual user preferences. Furthermore, in the event of damage, the LED unit can be replaced independently of the diffuser element.
[0019] It should be understood that even if a diffusing element is mounted, the beam direction, unaffected by this, refers to the direction in which the light is emitted from the LED light strip before hitting the diffusing element.
[0020] Preferably, the diffuser element engages with the retaining strip assembly. Alternatively or additionally, the LED receptacle is sealed in the direction of the beam by the diffuser element. Thus, the diffuser lens seals the LED receptacle independently of the LED unit it holds, providing additional protection against moisture ingress.
[0021] The diffuser element is detachably integrated with the mounting strips. This allows for the LED unit to be replaced, if necessary, by removing the diffuser element. Because the diffuser element seals the LED recess in the direction of the light beam, it is positioned within the path of the emitted light, thus diffusing the light. Furthermore, it provides additional protection for the LED unit against splashing water and water vapor.
[0022] Preferably, the diffuser element is reversibly connected to the mounting strip assembly by a form-fit and / or force-fit connection. Particularly preferably, the diffuser element can be brought into engagement with the mounting strip assembly by elastic deformation of the diffuser element. This can be achieved, for example, by a snap-fit connection. This ensures easy assembly and disassembly of the diffuser element. It should be understood that, advantageously, no drilling or similar modifications are required in the mounting strip assembly for the diffuser element, which could negatively affect the sealing of the LED unit.
[0023] Preferably, the LED unit is reversibly and positively connected to the LED holder. This allows for easy assembly and disassembly of the LED unit, enabling its replacement with a new one in case of damage. This creates a sustainable system that also allows for the isolated replacement of the LED unit. Furthermore, a positive connection does not impair the sealing of the LED unit within the LED holder.
[0024] The LED unit is particularly well-suited for engaging with the LED holder by forming a snap-fit connection. A snap-fit connection is achieved through the elastic deformation of a snap element, which, as a result of this deformation, engages with a corresponding snap element, such as a projection on the cooperating part. Such a snap-fit connection is structurally simple to manufacture, intuitive to assemble, and cost-effective to implement.
[0025] According to a preferred embodiment, the retaining strip arrangement comprises a wall strip that has a coupling interface, in particular a receiving groove, for a shower partition or one or more shower partition segments, and a mounting interface for mounting on a wall. The wall strip is thus coupled to the wall and the shower partition in its mounted state. The LED receptacle is preferably formed in the wall strip. Furthermore, in the mounted state, the longitudinal direction of the strip extends parallel to the wall, so that the wall strip also extends parallel to the wall. The LED unit can be received at a corresponding position by the LED receptacle formed in the wall strip and emit light parallel to the wall along the longitudinal direction of the strip.
[0026] Preferably, the LED mounting is arranged on the wall strip such that the direction of the emitted light beam is in the direction of a surface normal of the shower partition in its installed state. Because the beam direction is in the direction of a surface normal and thus away from a side surface of the shower partition, not only is a lighting effect provided, but efficient illumination of the shower area in a space set back from the shower partition. The surface normal corresponds to a surface normal of opposing contact surfaces of the mounting groove for the shower partition.
[0027] Alternatively or additionally, the retaining strip arrangement includes a decorative strip with a coupling interface, in particular a receiving groove, for a shower partition or one or more shower partition segments. The decorative strip can form the end of the shower partition or a decorative element, but has no connection to the ceiling or wall. The decorative strip can preferably be connected to the floor, in particular by a frictional connection, or rest on the floor or be held at a distance from the floor. The LED receptacle is preferably formed in the decorative strip. Furthermore, the longitudinal direction of the strip extends vertically when the decorative strip is installed. The LED unit can be received at a corresponding position in the LED receptacle formed in the decorative strip and emit light along the longitudinal direction of the strip.
[0028] Preferably, the retaining strip arrangement includes a ceiling connection that links the decorative strip to the ceiling of the room. In this embodiment, the decorative strip and the ceiling connection together enable the spatial arrangement and fastening of the shower partition in the room.
[0029] The mounting rail arrangement preferably includes, alternatively or additionally, a crossbar that can be connected to a wall at a proximal end section and to a shower partition or one or more shower partition segments at a distal end section. In its installed state, the crossbar extends adjacent to, and in particular also above, the shower partition, and the LED receptacle is formed within the crossbar. This allows the LED unit to be integrated into the crossbar adjacent to, and in particular also above, the actual shower partition. It is particularly preferred that the LED receptacle is arranged in the crossbar such that, in its installed state, the beam direction is directed towards the ceiling and thus away from the shower area and the shower partition. Alternatively or additionally, at least one LED receptacle is arranged in the crossbar such that, in its installed state, the beam direction is directed towards the floor.
[0030] In a second aspect, which simultaneously represents a preferred embodiment of the first aspect, the invention relates to a shower tray mounting arrangement of the type mentioned above, in which the retaining strip arrangement comprises a transverse strip that can be connected to a spatial structure at a proximal end section and to a shower partition at a distal end section. In its mounted state, the transverse strip extends above the shower partition, i.e., at the level of an upper end section of the shower partition, specifically in its upper quarter. The LED receptacle is formed in the transverse strip. Preferably, the retaining strip arrangement further comprises a vertical retaining strip in its mounted state, with mounting means for connecting it to the transverse strip. The crossbar is designed to be selectively locked to the vertical mounting rail in a first position and in a second position that differs from the first. The crossbar has a mounting section configured to selectively lock it in the first position and in the second position. This mounting section preferably corresponds to the vertical mounting rail and is designed to selectively engage the crossbar with the mounting rail in both the first and second positions. The crossbar can thus be mounted in more than one position. This also allows the position of the LED unit, and therefore its beam direction, to be varied between at least two positions. This increases design freedom.
[0031] Preferably, the beam direction of the mounted LED unit is directed towards a ceiling in the first position and towards a floor in the second position. The terms ceiling, ceiling, and floor are used synonymously throughout this text. Similarly, the terms floor and floor are also used synonymously throughout this text.
[0032] Thus, either direct lighting of the shower area is provided in the second position, or indirect lighting of the shower area is enabled by emitting the light towards the ceiling in the first position.
[0033] Preferably, the assembly section comprises at least two receptacles for receiving the mounting elements, which are arranged symmetrically to each other with respect to a first central axis of the crossbar and / or are arranged on a second central axis of the crossbar that runs orthogonally to the first central axis. Thus, at least two installation positions of the crossbar are provided by the at least two receptacles, so that the crossbar can be mounted in the first position and the second position. Using the same receptacles for both positions simplifies the design of the crossbar.
[0034] It is further preferred that the housing is a cast aluminum housing and, in particular, comprises anodized aluminum. Aluminum offers sufficient resistance to the media used in shower areas, is lightweight, and possesses sufficient stability. Furthermore, due to its conductive properties, aluminum offers advantages in heat dissipation from the LED unit. It is also further preferred that the mounting strip arrangement is at least partially made of a metallic material, preferably aluminum, so that heat dissipation from the LED unit is further improved.
[0035] Preferably, the retaining strip arrangement further comprises a vertical retaining strip in the mounted state, which is positioned at a distance from a wall and is designed to connect the shower partition at least indirectly to the wall, with the LED recess being formed in the retaining strip. This allows even an area separated from the room structure, in particular the entrance area of a shower, to be illuminated. The light is emitted along the vertical longitudinal axis of the housing.
[0036] Preferably, the retaining strip is designed to be selectively locked in a first position and in a second position different from the first. Preferably, the beam direction of the mounted LED unit is directed towards the shower area in the first position and away from the shower area in the second position.
[0037] Preferably, the longitudinal extent of the housing is smaller than the longitudinal extent of the mounting strip, in particular at least 10% smaller. This provides a gap at least to one end section of the mounting strip assembly, which houses the LED. This gap is advantageous for assembly and cleaning purposes.
[0038] According to a preferred embodiment, the longitudinal extent of the housing is smaller than the longitudinal extent of the wall strip, and the cast housing has a distance of at least 100 mm, and in particular at least 200 mm, from the lower end of the wall strip when mounted. This distance from the lower end of the wall strip provides additional protection for the LED unit against splashing water.
[0039] According to a preferred embodiment, the longitudinal extent of the housing is smaller than the longitudinal extent of the mounting strip, and the cast housing has a distance of at least 100 mm, and in particular at least 200 mm, from the lower end of the mounting strip when installed. This distance from the lower end of the mounting strip provides additional protection for the LED unit against splashing water.
[0040] In a third aspect according to claim 14, the invention relates to the use of an LED unit in a shower tray mounting arrangement for illuminating a shower tray. The invention solves the aforementioned problem in this third aspect by comprising an LED light strip for emitting light in a beam direction, a connecting cable for connecting to a mains supply, and a cast housing extending in a longitudinal direction, into which the LED light strip is cast such that a media-tight connection is formed between the cast housing and the LED light strip, and / or the LED light strip is media-tightly received in the cast housing, wherein the LED unit is enclosed by the cast housing in a media-tight, in particular fluid-tight, manner, except for a front surface in the beam direction, through which light is emitted in the beam direction.By using the LED unit in a shower tray mounting arrangement, the invention, according to the third aspect, takes advantage of the benefits mentioned at the outset with regard to the first aspect. Advantages and preferred embodiments according to the first aspect of the invention are likewise advantages and preferred embodiments according to the third aspect of the invention, and vice versa. Alternatively or additionally, the invention solves the aforementioned problem by using a shower tray mounting arrangement according to the second aspect of the invention.
[0041] In a fourth aspect, the invention relates to a shower tray mounting system for providing a shower tray according to claim 15. The shower tray mounting system solves the aforementioned problem by comprising a shower tray mounting arrangement according to the first or second aspect of the invention and a shower partition coupled to the shower tray mounting arrangement.
[0042] Through a suitable shower tray mounting arrangement, the invention, according to the fourth aspect, takes advantage of the benefits mentioned at the outset with regard to the first and second aspects. Advantages and preferred embodiments according to the first aspect of the invention are likewise advantages and preferred embodiments according to the fourth aspect of the invention, and vice versa.

[0044] Fig. 1 Figure 1 shows a shower tray mounting system 1 with a shower tray mounting assembly 2 and a shower partition 3, which engages with the shower tray mounting assembly 2 to form a shower tray 4. The shower tray mounting assembly 2 is shown in a mounted state Z.
[0045] The shower tray mounting arrangement 2 comprises a retaining strip arrangement 20 with at least one strip 21, 22, 23 having a longitudinal extension L. In this case, the retaining strip arrangement 20 has a wall strip 21, which is designed for connection to a room structure, in this case a wall W, and engages with the shower partition 3. The retaining strip arrangement 20 further comprises a transverse strip 22, which extends above the shower partition 3 in the direction of the surface normal n of the shower partition 3, and a retaining strip 23, which engages with the transverse strip 22 for fastening the shower partition 3 to the wall.
[0046] The wall strip 21 has a first longitudinal extension L1, the cross strip 22 has a second longitudinal extension L2 and the retaining strip 23 has a third longitudinal extension L3.
[0047] The wall strip 21 engages with a first section 31 of the shower partition 3 and the preferably additional retaining strip 23 engages with a second section 32 of the shower partition 3.
[0048] The wall strip 21 has a wall strip receiving groove 211 for receiving the first section 31 of the shower partition 3 and also includes a mounting interface 212 for mounting on the wall.
[0049] The crossbar 22 has a proximal end section 221, which is designed to be mounted on the wall W, and furthermore an opposing distal end section 222, which is designed to engage with the retaining bar 23.
[0050] The preferably provided retaining strip 23 has a lower, floor-side end 313, an upper end 314 engaging with the cross strip 22 and a retaining strip receiving groove 315 which receives the second section 32 of the shower partition 3.
[0051] The shower tray mounting arrangement 2 further includes an LED unit 25 for illuminating the shower tray 4. In this case, a first LED unit 25.1 is attached to the wall strip 21 and a second LED unit 25.2 is attached to the crossbar 22. The second LED unit 25.2 emits light in a beam direction S away from a ceiling D towards a floor F.
[0052] Fig. 2a bis Fig. 2c The wall strip 21 with the first LED unit 25.1 attached to it is shown in detail.
[0053] Fig. 2a The wall strip 21 with the attached LED unit 25 is shown in a mounted state Z and Fig. 2b Figure 1 shows an exploded view in which the first LED unit 25.1 is spaced apart from the wall strip 21.
[0054] The wall strip 21 has an LED receptacle 27 which extends in the first longitudinal direction L1 of the strip.
[0055] How in particular Fig. 2c As shown, the LED unit 25 has a cast housing 251 and an LED light strip 252 cast into the cast housing 251. The cast housing 251 has a housing longitudinal extent GL.
[0056] The housing longitudinal extent GL is preferably smaller than the first strip longitudinal extent L1, so that the cast housing 251 preferably has a distance of at least 100 mm, in particular at least 200 mm, from a lower end 213 of the wall strip 21 in the mounted state Z. A connector (not shown) for connection to a mains supply is preferably provided at an upper end 214.
[0057] Furthermore, the shower area mounting arrangement 2 includes a scattering element 26, which in this case is designed as a scattering disc 261.
[0058] The LED unit 25 is mounted in the LED receptacle 27 such that light is emitted by the LED light strip 252 in a scattering direction S. The LED light strip 252, enclosed by the cast housing 251, has two side surfaces extending longitudinally GL along the housing, a surface 254 extending longitudinally GL along the housing and facing backwards in the beam direction S, and two end faces 255 spaced apart longitudinally GL along the housing. The side surfaces 253, the rear surface 254, and the end faces 255 are preferably enclosed by the cast housing 251. The cast housing 251 is particularly preferably made of aluminum and is designed as a cast aluminum housing.
[0059] The diffusing element 26, which is configured here as a diffusing disc 261, can preferably be brought into engagement with the LED receptacle 27 by elastic deformation of the diffusing disc 261. In this process, two opposing legs 262, 263 of the diffusing element 26 are engaged in the Fig. 2c as shown, bent inwards to engage the diffuser element 26 with the LED receptacle 27.
[0060] The LED unit 25 preferably engages with the LED receptacle 27 by forming a snap connection 256. The LED receptacle 27 forms a snap-in receptacle 271, and the LED unit 25 has a corresponding recess 259, wherein a snap-in element 272 is accommodated between the recess 259 and the snap-in receptacle 271.
[0061] Thus, the LED unit 25 can be detached from the LED receptacle 27 and the diffuser element 26 can also be detached from the LED receptacle 27.
[0062] The direction of radiation S of the light emitted by the LED light strip 252 runs in the direction of the surface normal n of the shower partition 3. The direction of radiation S is therefore directed away from the wall strip 21.
[0063] Fig. 3a bis Fig. 3c as well as Fig. 4a bis Fig. 4c show a further section of the shower area mounting arrangement 2 according to Fig. 1 , wherein the second LED unit 25.2 is engaged with the crossbar 22.
[0064] The housing longitudinal extent GL is preferably smaller than the second rib longitudinal extent L2.
[0065] In Fig. 3a The crossbar 22 is shown in its assembled state Z in a first position P1. Fig. 4a The crossbar 22 is shown in the assembled state Z in a second position P1.
[0066] As shown in the exploded view Fig. 3b and Fig. 4b As can be seen, the second LED unit 25.2 is mounted in a second LED receptacle 27.2, which is formed in the crossbar 22 and extends in a longitudinal direction GL of the housing. The longitudinal direction L of the crossbar 22 runs parallel to the longitudinal direction GL of the housing of the LED receptacle 27.2.
[0067] In the Fig. 3a In the first position P1 shown, the LED unit 25.2 is mounted in such a way that the beam direction S in the mounted state Z points downwards towards the shower area 4 (cf. Fig. 1 ) shows.
[0068] In the Fig. 4a In the second position P2 shown, the LED unit 25.2 is mounted in such a way that the beam direction S in the mounted state Z points upwards towards the shower area 4 (cf. Fig. 1 ) shows.
[0069] The crossbar 22 has a mounting section 223 with two receptacles 224, which are designed to be connected to corresponding mounting means 232 of the retaining strip 23, which are in Fig. 3a und 3b are indicated to be brought into action. The receptacles 224 are symmetrically designed with respect to a first central axis M1 and arranged on a second central axis M2 such that the crossbar 22 is in the Fig. 3a bis Fig. 3c The first position P1 shown can be brought into engagement with the retaining strip 23 and in the Fig. 4a bis Fig. 4c The second position P2 shown can be brought into engagement with the retaining strip 23.
[0070] The retaining strip assembly 20 further comprises a connector 28, which can be connected to a connecting cable 257 of the LED unit 25. The connector 28 is designed to seal the proximal end section 221 of the crossbar 22 and to establish a media-tight connection to the connecting cable 257. The connecting cable 257 is in Fig. 3a and Fig. 4b merely hinted at.
[0071] Fig. 5 Figure 1 shows an alternative embodiment of a shower tray mounting arrangement 2, in which only a section of the retaining strip arrangement 20 is shown. This section forms an LED housing 200, which extends in the longitudinal direction GL of the housing and is designed to enclose the LED light strip 252 in a media-tight manner. The LED light strip 252 is thus permanently installed in the retaining strip arrangement 20. The LED housing 200 therefore represents an alternative to the cast housing 251 and the LED receptacle.
[0072] The LED housing 200 comprises at least one translucent surface 201 facing forward with respect to the beam direction S, through which the LED light strip 252 emits light in the beam direction S, and a casing section 202. The casing section 202 is fluid-tightly connected to the translucent surface 201 and encloses the LED unit 25 in a section 258 facing rearward with respect to the beam direction S.
