Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL AREA
[0001] The present invention relates to a water guidance structure for the inlet of water into a sanitary article, in particular for a toilet bowl according to claim 1, an inlet pipe with the water guidance structure according to claim 8 and an arrangement according to claim 14 and a sanitary article according to claim 17. STATE OF THE ART
[0002] It is known from the prior art to provide an inlet pipe in toilet bowls upstream of the inlet area. This inlet pipe is usually connected to a flushing elbow, which in turn is connected to a cistern via a water supply. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION
[0003] Based on this prior art, the present invention is based on the objective of providing a water flow structure for a sanitary article, in particular for a toilet bowl, which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, a water flow structure is to be provided in which odor and noise emissions are avoided.
[0004] This and other problems are solved by a water guidance structure for the inlet of water into a sanitary article, in particular for a toilet bowl, according to claim 1. Accordingly, the water guidance structure comprises an inner wall that laterally delimits a pipe interior extending along a pipe line, the pipe interior being accessible through a pipe inlet and a pipe outlet. Furthermore, the water guidance structure comprises a receiving section adjoining the pipe inlet for receiving a flushing pipe which projects into the receiving section, and a stop section adjoining the receiving section with at least one stop surface which projects into the pipe interior, wherein the flushing pipe can abut against the stop surface.Furthermore, the water flow structure includes a residual water channel which extends through the stop section in such a way that residual water can flow through the stop section towards the pipe outlet.
[0005] The residual water channel ensures that no flushing water can remain in the area before the stop section, as the channel extends through the stop section. This means that no standing water can remain in the pipe section before the stop section. This prevents unpleasant odors from forming due to stagnant water. If the water flow structure is used in combination with an odor extraction system, where air is drawn from the toilet bowl through the water flow structure, gurgling noises can be avoided.
[0006] The residual water channel also has the advantage that all flushing water coming from the flushing pipe can drain away from the water management structure. This is true even if the flushing pipe is not pushed all the way to the stop surface or if the flushing pipe has a larger inner diameter than the stop section.
[0007] The water guidance structure can be used in various ways. For example, it can be part of an inlet pipe. Alternatively, it can be part of a water channel in a sanitary fixture.
[0008] The flushing pipe can be abutted against at least one stop surface or positioned at a distance from it. The stop section primarily serves to prevent the flushing pipe from being inserted too deeply into the water supply structure.
[0009] The pipe cross-section in the area of the stop surface is smaller than in the receiving section.
[0010] The pipe line forms the central axis of the pipe's interior. The pipe line can be straight in some sections and curved in others.
[0011] Preferably, the residual water channel, viewed from the installed position, forms the lowest point in the pipe interior. Preferably, the residual water channel is located at the lowest point in the pipe interior when installed.
[0012] Preferably, viewed in the direction of flow from the pipe inlet to the pipe outlet, one stop surface is located to the right of the residual water channel and one stop surface is located to the left of the residual water channel. Viewed in the installed position, the stop surfaces are preferably located above the residual water channel.
[0013] Preferably, the residual water channel has a base from which two side surfaces, spaced apart from each other, extend. This forms a U-shaped channel. This U-shaped channel extends through the stop section.
[0014] In one variant, the base surface runs essentially parallel to the pipe line along the length of the stop section. In another variant, the base surface runs essentially perpendicular to the pipe line along the length of the stop section, with the distance between the pipe line and the base surface increasing with increasing distance from the pipe inlet. In a third variant, the base surface runs partly parallel to the pipe line and partly inclined at an angle to the pipe line along the length of the stop section.
[0015] Preferably, the water flow structure, viewed from the pipe inlet to the pipe outlet, has a deflection section after the stop section. Preferably, the deflection section extends downwards and / or laterally relative to the receiving section when viewed in the installed position. Preferably, the residual water channel extends into the deflection section.
[0016] Preferably, the deflection section has a cross-sectional area that is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the receiving section.
[0017] Preferably, an intermediate section follows the stop section. The intermediate section preferably has the same cross-section and / or cross-sectional shape as the receiving section. The intermediate section may also have a different cross-section or cross-sectional shape. In other, more advanced embodiments, the intermediate section can be omitted. In this case, the deflection section follows directly after the stop section.
[0018] An inlet pipe according to claim 8 comprises a water guidance structure as described above.
[0019] Description, where the inner wall is provided by a pipe wall. The inner wall therefore forms the wall of the pipe wall that faces the interior.
[0020] Preferably, the stop section is provided by two lateral indentations on the inlet pipe. The indentations are arranged in the area of the stop section. The indentations project from the outside into the interior of the pipe, such that a depression is formed on the outside facing the pipe interior and a raised area is formed on the inside of the pipe interior. The stop surface rests against this raised area.
[0021] Preferably, the pipe line is designed as a straight line in the area of the indentations. The indentations are symmetrical with respect to a central plane running through the pipe line and positioned vertically when installed.
[0022] Preferably, the inlet pipe is symmetrical with respect to a horizontal plane, at least along the length of the residual water channel. This means that the inlet pipe has two residual water channels. In the installed state, one of the two residual water channels is always positioned so that water can flow through it, while the other residual water channel lies above said residual water channel. The symmetrical design allows for installation on the left or right.
[0023] Preferably, the inlet pipe further comprises at least one retaining section. The retaining section can be mechanically connected to a pipe holder. Viewed in the direction of flow of the flushing water, the retaining section is preferably located downstream of the aforementioned stop section, and in particular downstream of the aforementioned intermediate section. Preferably, two retaining sections 15 are arranged opposite each other within the pipe interior.
[0024] Preferably, the retaining sections are clamped by the pipe holder.
[0025] Preferably, the retaining section has a conical or oval extruded surface that extends partially around the pipe line. Preferably, the pipe holder has at least one bearing surface whose shape corresponds to the conical surface. The conical surface further offers the advantage that the
[0026] The inlet pipe can be easily demolded during manufacturing.
[0027] Preferably, the receiving section has a tapered insertion area at the inlet. A bearing area with a constant diameter follows the insertion area.
[0028] The aforementioned stop section preferably adjoins the storage area.
[0029] An arrangement comprises an inlet pipe as described above and a mounting bracket with a bearing point for the fixed mounting of the inlet pipe on the mounting bracket, wherein the mounting bracket has a recess at the bearing point through which the residual water channel extends.
[0030] The mounting bracket is preferably designed as a profile. The profile has at least a lower web, an intermediate web extending away from the lower web, and an upper web extending away from the intermediate web. The intermediate web and the upper web are provided with the aforementioned indentation.
[0031] Preferably, the arrangement further comprises a sanitary article, in particular a toilet bowl, with a water channel having a channel inlet, and a flushing pipe. The flushing pipe extends into the receiving section with a bearing section, and the pipe outlet of the inlet pipe is located in the channel inlet of the water channel.
[0032] The flushing pipe has a seal on the outside, which creates a watertight connection between the flushing pipe and the inlet pipe.
[0033] Preferably, the arrangement further comprises a pipe holder, wherein the inlet pipe is firmly connected to the mounting bracket by means of the pipe holder.
[0034] In one variant, the mounting bracket has at least one locking opening, and the pipe holder has at least one locking tab which engages in the locking opening. In another variant, the mounting bracket has at least one locking tab, and the pipe holder has at least one locking opening, with the locking tab engaging in the locking opening. In yet another variant, the pipe holder is integrally molded onto the mounting bracket.
[0035] Preferably, the mounting bracket has two opposing free ends which engage in bearing openings on the sanitary ware. Preferably, two bearing points for receiving fastening units are arranged on the mounting bracket adjacent to the free ends.

The drawings show: Fig. 1 a perspective view of an embodiment of an inlet pipe according to the invention with a water guidance structure according to the invention from below; Fig. 2 a top view of the inlet pipe according to Figure 1Fig. 3 is a sectional view through the inlet pipe according to the preceding figures; Fig. 4 is a sectional view through an arrangement with the inlet pipe according to the preceding figures and a mounting bracket; and Fig. 5 is a sectional view through the arrangement according to Figure 4 in combination with a sanitary product. DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EXECUTION FORMS
[0039] The figures show the water guidance structure according to the invention at an inlet pipe. However, the water guidance structure can also be implemented directly in a water channel of a sanitary article. The water guidance structure serves to supply flushing water to a sanitary article 29. The sanitary article is preferably a toilet bowl.
[0040] Based on the Figures 1 to 3A particularly preferred embodiment of the water guide channel at an inlet pipe 1 is described. The description of the water guide structure refers equally to the arrangement of the water guide structure in a water guide channel of a sanitary article.
[0041] The water conveying structure, here the inlet pipe 1, comprises an inner wall 2 that laterally delimits a pipe interior 3 extending along a pipe line R, the pipe interior 3 being accessible through a pipe inlet 4 and a pipe outlet 5, a receiving section 6 adjoining the pipe inlet 4 for receiving a flushing pipe 7, and a stop section 8 adjoining the receiving section 6, which has a smaller cross-sectional area than the receiving section 6. The stop section 8 has at least one stop surface 37 which projects into the pipe interior 3.
[0042] The inner wall 2 is part of the pipe wall 38, which provides or surrounds the pipe interior 3.
[0043] Furthermore, the water flow structure, here the inlet pipe 1, includes a residual water channel 9, which extends through the stop section 8, such that residual water can flow through the stop section 8 towards the pipe outlet 5. The residual water channel 9 thus penetrates the stop section 8, so that the stop section 8 cannot create a stagnation effect for the flushing water in the area of the residual water channel 9. The residual water channel 9 is particularly characterized by the Figure 3 The residual water channel 9 connects to the inner wall 2 in the area of the intake section 8 with respect to the height of the inner side 27. From the Figure 4It is evident that, viewed in its installed position, the residual water channel 9 is located at the lowest point of the inlet pipe 1. Viewed in its installed position, the residual water channel 9 forms the lowest point within the pipe interior 3. The residual water channel 9 is located at the lowest point within the pipe interior.
[0044] In the Figure 5 The installation situation of the inlet pipe 1 is shown. A flushing pipe 7 projects into the receiving section 6. The end of the flushing pipe 7 can abut against at least one stop surface 37 on the stop section 8, or it can lie between the stop section 8 and the pipe inlet 4. Regardless of the relative position between the flushing pipe 7 and the stop section 8, flushing water can flow from the residual water channel 9 of the receiving section 6 through the stop section 8. The stop surface 37 projects here, as shown by the Figure 3The stop surface 37 is visibly inclined at an angle to the pipe line R into the pipe interior 3. The angle is preferably between 30° and 60°. The stop surface 37 can also be perpendicular to the pipe line R.
[0045] The receiving section 6 has a tapered insertion area 18 in the area of the inlet, with a bearing area 19 with a constant diameter adjoining the insertion area 18.
[0046] A seal 28 is arranged between the inside of the receiving section 6 and the outside of the flushing pipe 7.
[0047] The inlet pipe 1 protrudes with its pipe outlet 5 into a channel inlet 25 and into a water supply channel 24. In the case of a toilet bowl, the water supply channel 24 opens into the bowl room, allowing flushing water to be supplied through the water supply channel 24 for flushing the bowl room.
[0048] Based on the Figures 1 to 4Further preferred features of the inlet pipe 1 will now be explained in more detail.
[0049] The residual water channel 9 has a base area 10. Two side surfaces 11 extend from this base area 10. The side surfaces 11 define the lateral boundaries of the residual water channel 9, and the base area 10 forms the lower base of the residual water channel 9. The side surfaces 11 and the base area 10 are part of the pipe wall 38 and also define the pipe interior 3. The residual water channel 9 is open to the pipe interior 3. A stop surface 37 is located to the left and right of the residual water channel 9 and, in the installed position, above the residual water channel 9.
[0050] In the illustrated embodiment, the base surface 10 extends over the entire length L of the stop section 8 essentially parallel to the pipe line R. This is due to the Figure 3As can be seen. In the installed position, the pipe line R and the base surface are preferably horizontal or with a slight slope, so that flushing water can drain away.
[0051] In other variants, the base surface 10 can also be oriented at an angle to the pipe line R.
[0052] In the illustrated embodiment, an intermediate section 13 adjoins the stop section 8. The intermediate section 13 preferably has the same diameter and cross-sectional shape as the receiving section 6. The residual water channel 9 preferably extends through the intermediate section 13.
[0053] Preferably, the inlet pipe, viewed from the pipe inlet 4 to the pipe outlet 5, has a deflection section 12 after the stop section 8. Here, the deflection section 12 connects to the intermediate section 13. However, it is also conceivable that the deflection section 12 connects directly to the stop section 8. The residual water channel 9 extends into the deflection section 12. The deflection section 12 is designed such that, viewed in its installed position, it runs downwards and laterally relative to the receiving section 6. In other words, the flushing water flows laterally and downwards from the receiving section 6, viewed from the receiving section 6.
[0054] Of the Figures 1 to 4The design of the stop section 8 is evident. The stop section 8 is provided by two lateral indentations 14 on the inlet pipe 1. The indentations 14 are formed by a deformation of the pipe wall 38. The indentations 14 project from the outside into the pipe interior 3. This projection creates a depression 30 on the outside of the pipe interior 3 and a raised area 31 on the inside of the pipe interior 3. In an alternative embodiment, it would also be conceivable for the stop section to be provided by ribs.
[0055] The pipe line R is formed as a straight line in the area of the indentations 14. The indentations 14 are symmetrical with respect to a central plane E running through the pipe line R and oriented vertically V in the installed position.
[0056] The inlet pipe 1 further comprises at least one retaining section 15, which can be mechanically connected to a pipe holder 16. This is shown in the Figure 4 shown. Here, two holding sections 15 are arranged opposite each other with respect to the inside of the pipe.
[0057] Each of the retaining sections 15 has a conical or oval extruded surface 17, which extends partially around the pipe line R. The pipe holder 16 has two correspondingly shaped bearing surfaces 32, which accommodate the conical surfaces 17 for supporting the inlet pipe 1.
[0058] In the Figures 4 and 5The aforementioned inlet pipe 1 is shown in combination with an arrangement. The arrangement comprises an inlet pipe 1 as described above and a mounting bracket 20 with a bearing point 21 for the fixed mounting of the inlet pipe 1 on the mounting bracket 20. The mounting bracket 20 has a recess 22 at the bearing point 21, through which the residual water channel 9 extends.
[0059] In the illustrated embodiment, a pipe holder 27 is provided for the connection between the mounting bracket 20 and the inlet pipe 1. The inlet pipe 1 is firmly connected to the mounting bracket 20 by means of the pipe holder 27. The pipe holder 27 has two clamping arms 36 which engage the two retaining sections 15.
[0060] The mounting bracket 20 is designed here as a profile. The profile has at least a lower web 33, an intermediate web 34 extending away from the lower web 33, and an upper web 35 extending away from the intermediate web 34. The intermediate web 34 and the upper web 35 are provided with the aforementioned indentation 22. The mounting bracket can also be designed differently.
[0061] The arrangement preferably further comprises a sanitary article 23, in particular a toilet bowl. The sanitary article comprises a water channel 24 having a channel inlet 25. The arrangement further preferably comprises a flushing pipe 7, wherein the flushing pipe 7 extends into the receiving section 6 with a bearing section 26 and wherein the pipe outlet 5 of the inlet pipe 1 is located in the channel inlet 25 of the water channel 24.
