Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to a retaining plate according to claim 13.
[0002] The vacuum cleaner comprises a housing containing a dust chamber for collecting dirt particles. The dust chamber can be closed by means of a housing cover mounted on the housing, the housing cover being pivotable relative to the housing about a pivot axis formed on the housing. In this way, the housing cover can be moved between a closed and an open position. When the housing cover is in its closed position, the dust chamber is spatially separated from the surroundings of the vacuum cleaner, while when the housing cover is in its open position, the dust chamber is open enough to allow access to or into the dust chamber. Furthermore, the vacuum cleaner has a suction channel running through the housing to guide the dirt particles from a suction tube, via a suction nozzle, into the dust chamber.
[0003] The vacuum cleaner may include a fan that creates a vacuum. This vacuum is used to generate an airflow that sucks up any dirt particles and directs them towards the dust compartment. The vacuum created by the fan is also present in the dust compartment.
[0004] Many vacuum cleaners are designed to collect dirt particles directly in the dustbin, eliminating the need for a dust bag. The filled dustbin is emptied and, if necessary, cleaned, and can then be reused immediately. This has the advantage of eliminating the need to purchase and store dust bags, and also prevents the additional waste generated by disposing of filled dust bags.
[0005] Vacuum cleaners designed for use without dust bags have the advantage of a correspondingly smaller dust container. Consequently, the vacuum cleaner's housing can also be smaller than is typically the case with vacuum cleaners that use dust bags. This is particularly advantageous for cordless vacuum cleaners, as the smaller dimensions allow for more comfortable handling and vacuuming.
[0006] From the perspective of allergy sufferers, handling a bagless vacuum cleaner is disadvantageous, as emptying the dust compartment inevitably involves contact with the dust stirred up during emptying, and this can lead to an allergic reaction in the person concerned.
[0007] The present application is based on the task of providing a vacuum cleaner in which the insertion and removal of a dirt collection bag is alternative and is also possible comfortably in confined spaces.
[0008] The underlying problem is solved according to the invention by means of a vacuum cleaner with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are described in dependent claims 2 to 12.
[0009] The vacuum cleaner could, for example, be a stick vacuum cleaner, comprising an energy storage device designed as a battery and an elongated suction tube with a floor nozzle at the end of the tube facing the floor. Such a vacuum cleaner can be operated wirelessly and is preferably designed to be self-supporting, so that when not in use, it can be left standing freely with only the floor nozzle resting on the surface. The entire functional unit of the vacuum cleaner, comprising at least the housing, dust compartment, fan, and energy storage device, is located at the end of the suction tube opposite the floor nozzle, and its own weight is transferred to the surface via the suction tube and floor nozzle, ensuring the vacuum cleaner stands stably and upright.
[0010] The vacuum cleaner according to the invention is characterized in that a retaining plate for holding a dirt collection bag is arranged within the dust chamber, wherein the retaining plate is rotatably mounted in a receptacle on a wall of the housing facing the dust chamber, wherein the retaining plate can be moved from a removal position, in which it is inclined relative to a longitudinal axis of the dust chamber, to an operating position, in which it is arranged essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the dust chamber, wherein the suction nozzle projects into a corresponding through-opening of the retaining plate when the retaining plate is in the operating position.
[0011] The fact that the retaining plate is arranged essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the dust chamber is to be understood, in the sense of the present application, as meaning that the retaining plate runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the dust chamber, whereby deviations of + / - 7° are to be possible.
[0012] The vacuum cleaner according to the invention has the advantage that the retaining plate simplifies the insertion and removal of the dirt collection bag attached to the retaining plate, which is a great help, especially in small dust rooms. The retaining plate can be easily grasped and removed or reinserted in the removal position, in which it is inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of the dust room and thus projects into the dust room.
[0013] The invention thus enables the provision of a dust collection bag even in particularly small dust compartments, such as those found in cordless vacuum cleaners – which are typically operated without a dust collection bag. Despite the small dust compartment, access to it is therefore facilitated.
[0014] Advantageously, it is provided that the suction nozzle projects into the through-opening only when the retaining plate is in its operating position. According to the present application, the fact that the suction nozzle projects into a corresponding through-opening in the retaining plate only in the operating position is to be understood as meaning that the suction nozzle is located within the through-opening in the operating position itself and during a certain "transition phase" in which the retaining plate is moved towards the suction nozzle and begins to accommodate it. In the extraction position, the suction nozzle is located entirely outside the through-opening of the retaining plate. It is understood that the retaining plate is a plate-like structure whose length and width, by definition, exceed the thickness of the retaining plate many times over.
[0015] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the retaining plate is inclined at an angle of between 25° and 35° relative to the longitudinal axis of the dust chamber when in the removal position. It has been shown that such an inclination allows for particularly convenient removal and handling of the retaining plate.
[0016] Furthermore, it has proven advantageous if the mounting plate, when in the operating position, is inclined at an angle of between 0° and 7° relative to the longitudinal axis of the dust chamber. This facilitates the insertion of the suction nozzle into the through-opening of the mounting plate.
[0017] In a particularly advantageous manner, the housing cover has at least one stop on a side facing the dust compartment, which, when the housing cover is closed, makes contact with the retaining plate in its operating position. Therefore, the transfer of the retaining plate from its removal position to the operating position does not need to be performed manually and separately; rather, this transfer occurs simultaneously with the closing of the housing cover. During the closing process, the stop comes into contact with the retaining plate, for example, with its upper edge, and pushes it into its operating position. The suction nozzle then enters the designated opening in the retaining plate, allowing the collected dirt to enter the dirt collection bag located on the retaining plate.
[0018] Regarding the stop, it is also advantageous if it is designed as at least one rib, which is arranged on a side of the housing cover facing the dust chamber.
[0019] It has proven particularly advantageous if the at least one stop has a stop surface that, in the closed position of the housing cover, is inclined at an angle of between 30° and 60°, preferably between 40° and 50°, relative to a housing cover surface. Accordingly, the stop is designed to cause the retaining plate to shift from its removal position to its operating position when the housing cover is closed.
[0020] Further developing the vacuum cleaner according to the invention, the retaining plate has an end associated with the housing cover which is inclined at an angle of 8° to 12°, preferably 9° to 11°, and more preferably 10°, relative to a longitudinal axis of the retaining plate. The retaining plate should be arranged in the receptacle such that the inclination points towards the dust compartment, thus making the retaining plate easier for the user to grip.
[0021] In a further development of the vacuum cleaner according to the invention, the end of the retaining plate associated with the housing cover projects out of the dust chamber, with the end being enclosed by the housing cover in the operating position of the retaining plate. An end projecting from the dust chamber is particularly easy for a user to grasp and also allows the stop to be positioned inside the housing cover, so that the dust chamber can remain free of any components.
[0022] To optimize the gripping of the retaining plate, it may be advantageous to provide that the end of the retaining plate is designed as a handle element suitable for gripping with one hand of a user.
[0023] In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the receptacle is designed as a groove, the wall of which facing the dust chamber is inclined at an angle of between 25° and 35° relative to the longitudinal axis of the dust chamber. Furthermore, it can be advantageous if a wall facing away from the dust chamber is inclined at an angle of between 2° and 7° relative to the longitudinal axis of the dust chamber. Designing the receptacle as a groove is a particularly simple and low-wear method of mounting the retaining plate, which in this case is rotatable about an axis corresponding to a longitudinal axis of the groove base.
[0024] In a particularly advantageous manner, the suction nozzle has a longitudinal axis that runs transversely, preferably perpendicularly, to the longitudinal axis of the dust chamber.
[0025] Further developing the vacuum cleaner according to the invention, a bag lock is provided which can be moved from a locking position, in which closing of the housing cover is prevented, to a release position, in which closing of the housing cover is permitted. The bag lock can, for example, be designed to prevent closing of the housing cover when no dirt collection bag, i.e., no retaining plate, is inserted, in order to prevent the use of the vacuum cleaner without a dirt collection bag.
[0026] Further developing the bag lock, it can also be designed to be spring-loaded and move from the retaining plate to its release position. Advantageously, moving the retaining plate from the dispensing position to the operating position simultaneously moves the bag lock from its locked position to the release position. The spring force can be generated, for example, by an external spring force, such as a torsion spring, a helical spring, or a lever spring. It is also conceivable to generate the spring force using a self-reinforcing spring or gravity.
[0027] Finally, according to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the vacuum cleaner is designed as a cordless vacuum cleaner and has an energy storage device in the form of a rechargeable battery, as well as a handle arranged on the housing and provided for guiding the vacuum cleaner. The invention is particularly advantageous for cordless vacuum cleaners because the provision of a dust collection bag is possible even in the case of particularly small dust compartments, such as those found in cordless vacuum cleaners – which are typically operated without a dust collection bag. Despite the small dust compartment, access to it is thus facilitated.
[0028] An embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawings and is described in more detail below. It shows: Figure 1: A three-dimensional view of a vacuum cleaner according to the invention. Figure 2: A side view of the vacuum cleaner. Figure 1Figure 3: A top view of the vacuum cleaner made of Figure 1 Figure 4: A three-dimensional view of the vacuum cleaner made of Figure 1 with a section of the outer wall missing to allow a view into a dust chamber, Figure 5: A vertical section through the vacuum cleaner made of Figure 1 with the housing cover open, Figure 6: A vertical section through the vacuum cleaner made of Figure 1 with the housing cover partially open, Figure 7: A vertical section through the vacuum cleaner made of Figure 1 with fully closed housing cover and Figure 8: A three-dimensional view of the underside of the housing cover and the bag lock of the vacuum cleaner. Figure 1 .
[0029] A vacuum cleaner according to the invention 1 for cleaning floor surfaces and / or furniture is included in the Figures 1 to 8 depicted, whereby the Figures 1 to 4 different views of the vacuum cleaner 1 show. The vacuum cleaner 1In the present example, it is designed as a battery-powered vacuum cleaner, although it could also be designed as a classic corded floor vacuum cleaner.
[0030] The vacuum cleaner shown 1 has a case 2, in which there is a dust room 3 for the collection of dirt particles not depicted in the figures. In the Figure 4 The focus shifted to the depiction of part of the casing. 2 omitted, so that part of the dust space 3 This can be seen in an upper area of the casing. 2 is a handle 4 arranged, by means of which the vacuum cleaner 1 can be seized and controlled by a person using it. On a subpage 5 of the case 2 There is an intake pipe. 6, which can be connected to a suction tube or brush head not shown in the figures.
[0031] The dust room 3possesses a longitudinal axis 7, where the vacuum cleaner 1 in the figures such that the longitudinal axis 7 of the dust chamber 3 coincides with the vertical.
[0032] The dust room 3 is with a case cover 8 lockable, which pivots around an axis 9 relative to the case 2 swiveling on the housing 2 is stored. Thus, the housing cover 8 from a closed position 10, in an opening 11 of the dust chamber 3 is closed, into an opening 12, in which the opening 11 of the dust chamber 3 is released, transferable. Of course, intermediate positions are also possible, in which the opening 11 of the dust chamber 3 Partially released. Various positions of the housing cover. 8 are, for example, in the Figures 5 to 7depicted. In its closed position 10 The housing cover 8 is locked via a locking mechanism known from the prior art and also not shown in the figures, wherein the locking mechanism is activated by a push button. 13 can be activated and deactivated, so that pressing the button 13 opening the case cover 8 causes.
[0033] The Figures 5 to 7 each show a section through the vacuum cleaner according to the invention 1, where only the dust chamber 3 with handle 4 and case cover 8 are depicted. In the Figure 5 is the case cover 8 for example in its disclosure 12 depicted, in which it points vertically upwards in this case. In the Figure 6 The case cover is located 8 in its closed position 10 and in the Figure 7 is the case cover 8partially open.
[0034] Next to the dust room 3 is in the Figures 5 to 7 also a suction channel 14 as well as a suction nozzle 15 inside the housing 2 to recognize, whereby the suction nozzle 15 the suction channel 14 fluid dynamics in relation to the dust chamber 3 connects. Starting from the intake pipe 6 Can dust particles pass through the suction channel? 14 and the suction nozzle 15 into the dust chamber 3 to get there. It is easy to see that the suction channel 14 parallel to the longitudinal axis 7 of the dust chamber 3 The process and that the suction nozzle 15 a 90° Bow describes. One in the dust chamber 3 discharge cross-section 16 of the suction nozzle 15 is opposite to the longitudinal axis 7 of the dust chamber 3 about 5° inclined, which was achieved by the fact that the suction nozzle15 was cut at an angle.
[0035] In the Figure 5 is a holding plate according to the invention 17 clearly visible, which is attached to the case cover 8 far end 18 in a recording 19 at one of the dust room 3 facing wall 20 the housing. In the open position 12 of the case cover 8, in which the retaining plate 17 in a withdrawal position 21 is located on a longitudinal axis 22 the mounting plate 17 at an angle 23 from 30° opposite the longitudinal axis 7 of the dust chamber 3, also inclined relative to the vertical. This angle 23 Depending on the design, the angle can vary between 25° and 35°.
[0036] The recording 19 for storing the end 18 the mounting plate 17 indicates one of the dust chambers 3facing wall 24 up, which around 30° opposite the longitudinal axis 7 of the dust chamber 3 is inclined. One of these opposite, the dust chamber 3 far side wall 25 the recording 19 runs parallel to the longitudinal axis 7 of the dust chamber 3. Thus, the recording 19 in the manner of a groove with a groove base 26 designed accordingly, the retaining plate 17 rotatable in the mount 19 stored within an angular range of a total 30°. A pivot axis 27 the mounting plate 17 This therefore corresponds to a longitudinal axis 28 of the groove base 26.
[0037] The mounting plate 17 has a case cover 8 facing end 29, opposite the longitudinal axis 22 the mounting plate 17 is inclined, by about 10°.This inclined section can be used as a handle element 30 the mounting plate 17 be trained on which a user can attach the holding plate 17 It can be gripped and handled well.
[0038] It is clearly visible that the mounting plate 17 over an upper edge 31 of the dust chamber 3 protrudes. The case cover 8 points to one of the dust chambers 3 a stop on the facing side 32 on, which during the transfer from the disclosure 12 of the case cover 8 into its closed position 10 to an upper edge 33 the mounting plate 17 it gets caught or bumps into something and is pushed further when the housing cover is closed. 8 towards the inner wall 20 of the dust chamber 3, as well as in the direction of the wall 25 the recording 19 , pushes, so that a rotation of the retaining plate 17 to include her in the recording19 current end 18 This has been done.
[0039] The attack 32 of the case cover 8 has an inclined stop surface 34 on, which form an angle of 45° with a housing cover surface 35 includes. In the closed position 10 of the case cover 8 The mounting plate is located 17 in an operational position 36, where the one extends over the upper edge 31 of the dust chamber 3 protruding part of the mounting plate 17 entirely within the interior of the housing cover 8 is located. The attack 32 It is shaped like a rib.
[0040] The mounting plate 17 serves to hold a dirt collection bag (not shown in the figures) which is placed on the mounting plate 17 is pushed open. To ensure that the dirt particles get into the dirt collection bag, the retaining plate has a17 a passageway 37 on, whose dimensions are based on the discharge cross-section 16 of the suction nozzle 15 is adapted, whereby the suction nozzle 15 in the operating position 36 the mounting plate 17 through the passage opening 37 leads to this. This is in the Figure 6 Clearly visible.
[0041] To remove the dirt collection bag, first the housing cover is opened. 8 opened so that a user has access to the mounting plate 17 obtained. The retaining plate 17 can then be manually removed from its operating position 36 into the withdrawal position 21, in the longitudinal axis 22 the mounting plate 17 at 30° relative to the longitudinal axis 7 of the dust chamber 3 towards the dust chamber 3 is inclined, transferred and together with the part attached to the mounting plate 17The user must remove the dirt collection bag located within. When transferring the retaining plate 17 from their operational position 36 into their extraction position 21 The retaining plate is removed from the suction nozzle. 15 moved away, so that the latter is out of the passageway 37 the mounting plate 17 got out.
[0042] The vacuum cleaner according to the invention 1 It has a spring-loaded bag lock. 38, the in the Figures 5 to 7 and especially in the Figure 8 The bag lock is recognizable. 38 In the present example, it has a C-shaped cross-section and a straight upper leg. 39, a base angled at 90° from the upper leg 40 as well as a lower thigh 41. The bag lock 38 is about an axis of rotation 42, parallel to the pivot axis 9 of the case cover 8 and through one of the base40 end of the lower thigh facing the opposite side 41 It runs, rotatably mounted, so that the bag lock 38 from a blocking position 43 in a release position 44 is transferable.
[0043] In their blocking position 43 is the bag lock 38 aligned so that a longitudinal axis 45 of the upper thigh 39 opposite a longitudinal axis 46 of the suction nozzle 15 at an angle of approximately 45° upwards, so that it extends over the upper edge 31 of the dust chamber 3 protrudes. Accordingly, a longitudinal axis 47 the base 40 the bag lock 38 at 45° relative to the longitudinal axis 7 of the dust chamber 3 tilted. Is the case cover located 8 in its disclosure 12, where the mounting plate 17 The missing bag lock prevents this. 38 in their blocking position43 closing the case cover 8, which is equipped with a locking rib during the closing process 48 against the bag lock 38 It bumps and prevents further closing.
[0044] To prevent the bag lock 38 from their blocking position 43 into the release position 44 To transfer, it is necessary that the bag lock 38 through an actuating element 49 is actuated. This actuating element 49 In this case, it is from the retaining plate 17 formed. The retaining plate 17 this happens when the case cover is closed 8 - as described above - around their axis of rotation 27 rotated, thereby rotating the holding plate 17 to the base 40 the bag lock 38 it is reached and comes into a position parallel to the longitudinal axis 7 of the dust chamber 3 rotates. Thus, the upper thigh is also affected. 39turned into a position in which it is approximately parallel to the upper edge 31 of the dust chamber 3 The bag lock is located in this position. 38 in their release position 44 and closing the case lid 8 That's possible. Is the case cover located there? 8 in its closed position 10 As described at the beginning, it is held in the closed position by a locking mechanism. 10 held.
[0045] In the release position 44 The bag lock is located there 38 in a pre-tensioned state, which means that they automatically return to their locked position 43 as soon as the housing cover 8 is opened by pressing the button 13 is opened. This in turn means that the bag lock is open. 38 the mounting plate 17 when opening the case cover 8 from their operational position 36into their extraction position 21 transferred, in which the retaining plate is removed 17 and thus the dirt collection bag, which is not shown in the figures, is conveniently possible.
[0046] In the present example, the battery-powered vacuum cleaner according to the invention is 1 with two bag locks 38 equipped with features located on either side of the suction nozzle. 15 are arranged parallel to each other. Furthermore, the two bag locks are 38 over a hanger 50, the one above the suction nozzle 15 runs, connected to each other. The bracket 50 connects the base 40 far ends of the upper thighs 39 each other. Reference symbol list
