[0004] The object of the present invention is a luminaire for easy assembly and disassembly, which allows opening and disconnecting same without danger, easily extracting its electronic components for possible replacement and, by means of a simple sliding system, separating the optical block from the rest of the luminaire, without having to disassemble same.

[0005] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0006] A luminaire usually consists of a casing, a reflector and a light source or light module. Its function is to protect the lamp from humidity, dust and shocks. They are also responsible for providing good light distribution and contrast, to avoid irritating light flashes.

[0007] Luminaires have a wide range of different applications. They are used as lighting for homes, schools, factories, sports centres and offices. As each site requires specific lighting characteristics, there are different types of luminaires:

[0008] - LED luminaires,

[0009] - halogen and PL luminaires,

[0010] - tube luminaires,

[0011] - ceiling luminaires,

[0012] - wall luminaires,

[0013] - floor luminaires,

[0014] - outdoor luminaires, and

[0015] - emergency luminaires, among others.

[0016] All the previous examples of luminaires present a series of drawbacks, which must be resolved. First of all, when installing them, it is necessary to make wiring connections, normally using screw terminals, for which it is necessary to strip the cables, connect same to the screw terminals and fix same using screws thereto. This is a long and often dangerous process, since most of the luminaires are placed at height. Moreover, when any part of the luminaire fails, it is necessary to completely disassemble same in order to replace the affected part, with the same type of drawbacks related to processing time and work risk.

[0017] Therefore, and in view of the previous problems, a luminaire must be developed that allows connection to be made quickly and safely, as well as to replace its different components effectively.

[0018] DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0019] The object of the present invention is a luminaire for easy assembly and disassembly. Specifically, it is a road, tunnel or projector luminaire, for signalling evacuation routes or as an autonomous solar luminaire, which requires assembly at a height and traffic downtime, reason for which it is of great importance to be able to disassemble only a portion of the required parts (to avoid unnecessary weight and for staff ergonomics) and to be as fast as possible to reduce costs and road traffic downtime. The luminaire of the invention makes it possible to solve the problems previously raised.

[0020] To this end, the luminaire comprises an optical block that incorporates lighting elements and a frame that integrates said lighting elements. The lighting elements are connected to an outer power supply module or a battery, which powers the same.

[0021] Moreover, the luminaire comprises a compartment, inside of which different electronic components are arranged, which can be independent of the optical block, which is highly valued when using the luminaire in tunnels. This also allows increasing the size of the optical block without increasing that of said compartment. Alternatively, the optical block can be attachable to the compartment by sliding so that, in this second case, both elements can be joined or separated quickly and easily.

[0022] In the event that the optical block and the compartment are attachable, there is a separation chamber between both, since it is important that there is a physical separation between both, as the optical block acts as a heat sink for the LEDs or bulbs, to thus extend the useful life of the electronic components present in the compartment. In addition, the optical block and compartment are completely watertight. Inside the compartment there is also a removable tray comprising a plate equipped with lateral sides that slide along inner guides of the compartment to allow the insertion / extraction thereof into / from the compartment.

[0023] The luminaire further comprises an electronics module, which comprises the battery, if it has one, and other electronic components, such as a driver or a surge protector. The electronics module is assembled on the plate, so that if any of its components fail, it can be easily replaced.

[0024] The lighting elements and the electronics module are connected to form a power supply circuit thanks to separate connectors, arranged both in the compartment and in the removable tray.

[0025] Finally, the circuit is closed thanks to a rotating cover attachable to the compartment, between an open position and a closed position, which incorporates a switching connector that is arranged on the inner face of the rotating cover such that, in the closed position of the cover on the compartment, it provides continuity to the power supply circuit to power the lighting elements. When the rotating cover is placed in the open position, the power supply to the lighting elements is cut off, leaving the power circuit open.

[0026] Therefore, the luminaire of the invention can be opened and disconnected without danger, thanks to the plug & play connectors of the rotating cover and the compartment. In addition, it allows removing, using the removable tray, the electronic components for possible replacement thereof. Finally, it manages to separate, through a simple sliding system, the optical block from the rest of the compartment without having to disassemble the entire luminaire.

[0035] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0036] A preferred embodiment of the luminaire for easy assembly and disassembly, object of the present invention, is described below, with the help of figures 1 to 7.

[0037] Figure 1 shows a general view of the luminaire which, as can be observed, comprises two main elements, an optical block (1 ) and a compartment (5) for electronic components, coupled to each other.

[0038] Due to the configuration of the luminaire, shown in figure 1 , the size of the compartment (5) and the optical block (1 ) can be adapted, growing in width, to adapt to higher power outputs. Furthermore, by increasing its width, the luminaire has better behaviour against vibrations.

[0039] Specifically, the optical block (1 ) comprises lighting elements (2), such as LED lights or bulbs, among others, attached to a frame (3) that integrates said lighting elements.

[0040] For its part, and as shown in figures 2, 3, and 4, the compartment (5) has an essentially cylindrical configuration. Furthermore, as reflected in figure 7, the compartment (5) comprises, on an outer side, longitudinal outer guides (6). [0044] In one aspect of the invention, when the compartment (5) has an essentially cylindrical structure, the rotating cover (15) is one of the bases of said cylinder. In this way, as shown in figure 1 , the extraction of the electronic components is lateral. In this way, unlike the opening of other luminaires of the state of the art that are made from above or below, the luminaire of the invention prevents the entry of rain or snow (in the case of upper opening) and facilitates maintenance work at height, which is more complicated when the opening of the luminaire is lower since in this case it is necessary to carry out the maintenance work looking upward with the arms raised, with the possibility of components falling during the process. In addition, there are types of installations, such as tunnels, in which an upward opening is not possible, due to the walls or ceiling. Other facilities have nearby architectural elements, such as balconies or trees, which may make it impossible to open upwards or downwards for maintenance.

[0045] Additionally, thanks to the thread of the compartment (5) and the rotating cover (15), the opening of the compartment (5) is tool-free and completely safe, because it prevents the operator from coming into contact with any element having voltage, in addition to ensure it is done as quickly as possible. As shown in figure 4, the compartment (5) comprises, in the inner receptacle, longitudinal inner guides (7). Additionally, it houses an input connector (8) at the bottom linked to an outer power supply cable and an output connector (9) linked to an internal cable directed to the lighting elements (2).

[0046] Moreover, in the inner receptacle of the compartment (5) there is a removable tray (10), shown in figure 5. The removable tray (10) comprises a plate (1 1 ) equipped with lateral sides (12) that slide along the inner guides (7) of the compartment (5) for insertion / extraction into / from the compartment (5). Furthermore, an electronics module is assembled on the plate (11 ), which may comprise, among others, a battery (4) (in the event that the power is supplied by a solar panel), drivers and a surge protector. In this way, the electronic components can be easily removed by sliding on the inner guides (7) for possible replacement thereof.

[0047] Moreover, as shown in figure 5, the removable tray (10) comprises lower connectors (13) linked to the plate (1 1 ), which form part of a power supply circuit that integrates the battery (4) or a connection to an outer power supply, and the electronic components, in which one of them is attachable to the input connector (8) and the other is attachable to the output connector (9).

In the open position of the rotating cover (15), the power supply to the lighting elements is cut off.

The fact that the luminaire has a tilt-and-turn panel at the upper portion is optimal for making the most of solar radiation without affecting the direction along which illumination is carried out.

Claims

CLAIMS1 A luminaire for easy assembly and disassembly comprising: an optical block (1 ) that incorporates lighting elements (2) and a frame (3) that integrates said lighting elements, characterised in that it additionally incorporates: a compartment (5) comprising longitudinal inner guides (7), and which houses underneath an input connector (8) linked to an outer power cable and an output connector (9) linked to an internal cable directed to the lighting elements (2), a removable tray (10) comprising: a plate (11 ) equipped with lateral sides (12) which slide along the inner guides (7) of the compartment (5) for insertion / extraction into / from the compartment (5), an electronics module, assembled on the plate (1 1 ), two lower connectors (13) linked to the plate (1 1 ), which form part of a power supply circuit that integrates the electronics module, wherein one of them is attachable to the input connector (8) and the other is attachable to the output connector (9), an upper connector (14) having interrupted connection linked to the plate (11 ) that forms part of the power supply circuit, a rotating cover (15) attachable in the compartment (5) between an open position and a closed position, which incorporates a switching connector (16) that is arranged on the inner face of the rotating cover (15) such that, in the closed position of the rotating cover (15) on the compartment (5) it faces the upper connector (14), providing continuity to the power supply circuit to power the lighting elements, and in the open position of the rotating cover (15) the power supply to the lighting elements is cut off.2.- The luminaire of claim 1 , wherein the compartment additionally comprises longitudinal outer guides (6), and wherein the frame (3) of the optical block (1 ) additionally comprises fins (17) that slide longitudinally along the outer guides (6) of the compartment (5) to facilitate the assembly / disassembly of the optical block (1 ) on / from the compartment (5).3.- The luminaire of claim 2, wherein the longitudinal outer guides (6) of the compartment (5) comprise lateral tabs that extend at an angle and a central projection with a dovetail -shaped configuration and the fins (17) are separated by a central opening attachable to the projection.4.- The luminaire of claim 2, wherein the fins (17) are curved.5.- The luminaire of claim 1 , wherein the compartment (5) comprises an upper thread and the rotating cover (15) comprises a thread attachable to the upper thread of the compartment (5).6.- The luminaire of claim 1 , wherein the compartment (5) has an essentially cylindrical configuration.7.- The luminaire of claim 1 , wherein the electronics module additionally comprises a battery (4) that powers the lighting elements (2).8.- The luminaire of claim 1 , which additionally comprises sockets for sensors.9.- The luminaire of claim 7, which additionally comprises a tilt-and-turn photovoltaic panel connected to the battery (4).
