Abstract

Orthodontic bracket (10) comprising a body having a base intended to be fixed to the outer surface of a tooth and a vestibular part intended to retain an orthodontic arch (13) extending in a generally mesio-distal direction, characterized in that it comprises a receptacle (111) at least partially open on said base, in order to open onto said tooth when said base is fixed to the outer surface of said tooth, and intended to receive an adhesive material defining, once hardened, a retention pad for an orthodontic aligner, a separation rib forming a projection of the base, placed on the periphery and in the extension of said receptacle (111), configured to separate the adhesive material intended to be received in said receptacle (111) from the adhesive material intended to be received on the rest of said base, and a fold groove (114) on the vestibular part, transverse thereto, and facing said receptacle (111).
