Abstract
The present invention relates to medical devices, characterized as central venous catheters (CVC) for obtaining extracorporeal blood circulation in order to implement various purification methods. In particular the present invention relates to a device for reversing the flow in the branches of a central venous catheter (CVC) for extracorporeal circulation comprising at least two connections for the CVC (2) (3) and two connections for the extracorporeal circulation (4) (5) and a carriage (7) sliding on a rail (10), inside of which, a series of lumens (9) for connecting the CVC connections (2) (3) with the lines of the extracorporeal circulation (4) (5) is present. Thanks to the series of lumens (9) integrated in the carriage (7) preferably slidable mounted in a support module (1) of the CVC, the present invention allows for reversing the flow of the branches of the CVC (2) (3) preferably by direct action on a switch (11), which acts upon the carriage (7), which slides on the rail (10) without the need to manipulate and open the CVC and the extracorporeal circulation.
